It worked!!!! After 3 months of having a bricked console I decided to try one last time after watching hundreds of videos and scrolling through many subreddits. I lost all my saved game files ofc but I’m just happy to have a working console again as the PS5 is impossible to get right now. Subscribed!

Thank you for making this i accidentally pulled the power cord out of my ps4 while organizing the wires my extention block didn't look like a mess and almost had a panic attack. So I watched this and ended up having to initialize my ps4 but at least I didn't have to get a new ps4 so thanks for making this.
Sony should find methods to save games and all stuff like a BackUp or something ,accidentally pulled the power cord out it’s commonly happening even the electricity shutdown happens in some countries,it has to be a solution for that not just reinstall all games again it’s painful

@@gradyfinley4606 Initialising your ps4 factory resets your entire system. Game data won't be lost when you put your account back on your console, but game captures, accounts, games etc will be deleted but can be brought back afterwards

I held the power button for 8 secs, heard the 2 beeps, connected and turned on my controller, and just clicked on the update software option, then clicked on the use internet option, ad it downloaded the most recent software and everything works again 😊:)

I can confirm this still works in 2022 just make sure you remember your email and password for your account so you can re-download your digital games from your library.

I can confirm this still works in 2022 just make sure you remember your email and password for your account so you can re-download your digital games from your library.
