I started listening to owl city when I was 9 years old. I'm 21 now and even though my music taste has changed a ton over the years, Adam still never fails to make me smile no matter what life's throwing at me. I completely adore his music :)

Yep! He did in the cinematic videos. He was singing about himself and his experiences but had a different actor act as himself and he just made cameos. Was kinda weird but still fun!

Something I love about certain Owl City songs is a melancholy topic paired with happy sounding music, because I can sing along about my blues while getting cheered up. When Vitamin Sea came out, I was like "Ugh, now I'm jealous and want to go to a beach!"
BUT this music video totally changes everything! The angst, the irony, the melancholy, the cheery music, and the JOY of smile singing and kick/dancing in the snow! GAH this music video is masterful! And each shot is deeply thought out and beautifully edited.

I absolutely LOVE this MV. This is probably the most I've seen Adam act like himself in one of his music videos and it seems to be reflection of how truly his music reflects his own personality.
Hes even like this on stage now. Going from seeing the early birdie video and the old tour videos to seeing this video and the coco moon tour, you can tell he has grown to be so unapologetically himself and i couldn't be happier for him.

It's crazy how one man can be so talented in not even writing the lyrics and the music, but also playing all the instruments perfectly by himself. Not a single day passes by that I don't enjoy his music, in whatever mood I'm in. Even after all these years, you never fail to amaze me. Thank you for being such a bright light.

Some people are gifted. Even I'm not from musical background but I learned everything all alone. But songwriting skill was already inside me. It's gifted to me I think! I do write, compose, arranged and mix-master all alone. But as an artist it's good to have a team.
