Neil, I absolutely love the interaction and banter between you and your lovely wife in these videos. it brings back memories of what my wife and I shared at times. you two are awesome!
Those are freaking awesome looking strawberry shortcake pancakes made with ice cream. I don’t know how you come up with these ideas but man keep um coming! Tip…add a little water and mash the strawberries a little and you get a lot more juice. I’m definitely making those! Really enjoyed the show last night. Can’t wait for the next one! Cheers y’all!
Ever since I stumbled across your channel, I have been hooked. Just got my blackstone/griddle two weeks ago and cooked on it twice and next on the list is pork fried rice. Thanks for sharing all of your experience on the flat tops.
@@TheFlatTopKing well I have the pork chops second for a day or two. Cut them bad boys up in bite-sized bits. Get them cooking on the flat top and get them ready with a nice sear/small crisp. Get the rice ready then put it to the side. Add mixed vegetables with garlic butter as well as mushrooms, broccoli, red and green peppers and some hot fresh peppers from the garden. When ready Add the vegetable to the rice of course the soy sauce, oyster sauce. Once mixed good add the pork chop bites and mix well and ready for eating. Lookin' Good, Lookin' Good! The closest I come to sweet is usually blueberries & cottage cheese. I'd dive into those cakes recklessly though. btw, the live show yesterday was Great! And I consider pepper jelly a savory condiment haha.
I’ll tell you what I call it… A delicious mouthwatering spectacular strawberry shortcake pancake extravaganza! You had to bring up the rice again didn’t you Neil…I would’ve been running myself! Y’all take care and have a great Fourth of July weekend.🇺🇸👊🏻🍻
Looks good. I don't have a griddle but I do have a pitboss. My suggestion would be a strawberry glaze or a syrup. It might be to sugary but man make it all about the strawberries 🍓
Dang it! I was just at the market and I passed on some strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Now seeing this video, I want to make strawberry cheesecake pancakes using that. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m new to the griddle and just got this pit boss 4 burner just like yours. I thought you couldn’t use metal utensils on it because it scratches the ceramic top. Am I wrong? By the way your Chanel is amazing and can’t wait to try all your recipes out! Your amazing
Thanks for the support Gary.... This is definitely a hot button topic… And my answer would be that you have to use metal utensils AT YOUR OWN RISK. The actual Pit Boss Ultimate griddle manual says “non-metallic utensils”. I know of a handful of Ultimate griddle owners that have been using metal utensils on their griddles for a while and they’ve said that there hasn’t been any damage… but like I said, you have to use at your own risk - I’m sure that Pit Boss probably won’t replace your griddle top for you if you damage it with metal utensils. Also, there’s a difference in the types of metal spatulas... my preferred spatula has rounded edges and does NOT have the sharp beveled edges all around. That’s the spatula that I like for my other griddles as well. I would never use a square ended, beveled edge spatula on mine. Also, you’ll notice that I still use a wooden scraper/spatula to actually scrape down the griddle surface (NOT a metal bench scraper like I use on my other griddles). So the short answer is use metal at your own risk, and if you decide to use metal on yours, be careful about which metal utensils you’re using and how you use them on the surface.
Not what I was thinking..... I just ordered a single burner Blackstone and I'm so excited to stop using the stove. The first thing I cook is going to be wild blackberry pancakes.
Fantastic combination!! My daughters will love it!!
Happy wife happy life! Happy daughters happy father!!
ooohhh I bet...

Hey dude! Big fan from Albuquerque, NM. Just got a griddle for my birthday. Wish me luck? Keep up the great work man.
Happy birthday and Good luck...
I have actually used the Publix fruit at the bottom yogurts and added it to my pancake mix before. The dutch apple pie one is my favorite.
HEY absolutely great idea
Now I'm hungry

Im not a pancake fan but I would really like to taste the flavor of all the ingredients. I will eat french toast every once in a while.
Not sure if u will see this but maybe some take it up a step breakfast burrito and grilled cheese sandwiches?
Now, that's the way to close out "eat healthier month"................Uncle Bob approves!😂
HAHAHAHAH glad thats over....hahaha
