Easy Steak and Eggs on the griddle (Awesome Low Carb Griddle Breakfast!)

- Easy steak and eggs on the flat top grill is one of my favorite griddle breakfast recipes! And y'all know we're on a low carb diet, so this awesome T-bone steak from Good Chop was perfect! We sauteed some green peppers, onions, and mushrooms to go with our over medium eggs and tender, juicy steak - and we didn't even miss the hashbrowns!
Want to know how to keep your griddle eggs warm while you're cooking your steak? Watch the video to see how I McGuyver-ed a handy egg warmer right on the flat top grill! The eggs turned out to be a perfect over medium (just the way the wife likes 'em), and they stayed fresh and warm, too!
I just seasoned my steak lightly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and my favorite Cavender's Greek seasoning, because I wanted to taste the quality meat and I didn't want to overpower the flavor of the eggs... turned out perfectly!
I could eat this easy and filling steak and eggs recipe at least once a week! Already ordered my next Good Chop box!

You're now the slimmest flat top chef on TH-cam! Congratulations!
Hahahahaha Words I thought I would never hear.
When I first read it i thought it said i was the slimiest….. I thought dang what did i do now😂.
@@TheFlatTopKing 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
You are more than ready for a "Breakfast on the Griddle" cookbook, sign me up! Good recipe and an amazing breakfast.
Well definitely on the HUGE list of things to do...
Very nice, Neal!
Thanks brother.
So when can I come over for a meal ? Lol 😂 keep doing what you do ! Thanks
Hahaha. Buffet is open.
Outstanding video. Both of you keep up the great work 😊
Thanks Chris. Hope all is well.
Now that’s how you do breakfast right! Oooh man, that looks delicious! Steak and eggs….dang! Great video Neal!
Heck yeah. Thanks bud.
Too rare for me but I like it. I'm definitely going to try that egg trick.
I could have cooked to around 120. But i have over cooked some steaks while filming and didn’t want that risk. Not many times do i cook it to that temp. That dang steak was tender though.
Reminds me of Sunday Brunch at Clear Air Force Station when I was stationed there back in 1983-1984, steak and eggs with other fixins! Great job Neal! How’d UT do this past Saturday? Sorry about Air Force beating Navy…not!
Tennessee list to Pitt. Horrible way to loose. Over throws on wide open receivers, 130 yards of costly penalties, lost starters including Qb,rb,center, receiver, another rb, and dl man. Could not have gone worse.
Where is Clear Air Force Base.
Smack dab in the middle of Alaska! Was once a SAC (Strategic Air Command) base, then a Space Command base (not to be confused with the new Space Force), now it’s an Alaska Air National Guard base. I believe it’s still a radar base used to detect ballistic missile launches and monitoring satellites.
@@jeffreyrepass6834 awesome. Ive been to Alaska. Lived in Wyoming for about 4 years as well. The open land is beautiful.
@@TheFlatTopKing Spent 5 years in Cheyenne at F. E. Warren AFB, every day during the summer, around 5:00, 5:30 PM, would watch the clouds roll in over the Rocky Mountains, rain for about 30 minutes, then clear right up! Weird…snowed in July, and the wind was something else!
That's looking excellent! I always use the cooking rack on the griddle, but the pizza pan hack is awesome! The whole cook looks perfect. Great cook, sir!
Thanks bud.
Amazing hack for the eggs! What would you call the stand the pizza Tray is on ? And where did you get that done top? Thanks for your channel! I have a 900 FT grill Wich has been a game changer from traditional bbq grills , and just bought a 600 for a built in insert in my outdoor bar ..can’t wait for the summer party’s !
All that information should be listed in the description below. Thats awesome you are adding it in your built in. Great look. The Dome and the rack should be sold together as a set.
Hey Neil so I have a question that may not pertain to this video exactly, regarding the spatulas. Did you say to use a sharp spatula or around an edge spatula is my first question and what’s the difference between the spatulas that are solid ones that have the holes in them? Does it really matter I know you said something about taking off your seasoning if you use something sharp on it.
I prefer the ones with rounded edges. I also use a dough scraper if I need something sharp.
I dont have one with holes not saying they are not good but just havent had the need. Not many things on the ftg will have that much juice that would need be drained. I like the rounded edges because it eliminates the risk of scratching the ftg. thus hurting your seasoning.
I have the ones I use in the description box. I get them from amazon and we used the same ones in the Navy.
Hello Neil : right now I am cooking up an egg omelet with jalapeno and onions . good video my friend. FRANK from montana...
Oh Jalapenos I was going to add them to mine and forgot em at the store. Hope all is well Frank
Have you or will you sear a ahi steak either on the flat top or kettle grill?
Not on film but i will. Thanks
Where did u get that thermometer to test temperature of grill
I have the links in the description below. Both from Amazon.
I hate brown bottom eggs....... When I saw the promo pic before watching I wondered how you'd pull off not hurting the egg AND get some sear on the beef. Good job bud.
I 100 percent agree. I don't like browned eggs.
excellent....no cheese.....yeay
Is the griddle off on the side the eggs are resting on? I missed that part if it was mentioned :)
Nope. Just in low.
@@TheFlatTopKing thanks
A long bone....packed with flavor.....LOLOLOLOL ! That's what she said !
ahahhahhaahha
Congrats on the weight loss. Try radish as a potato substitute. Cook it well! Then brown, amazing how good it is.
Hey that's a good idea. We have some in the fridge. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
Well raw eggs and raw meat I guess you're not planning on staying on this planet too long
Probably could have cooked the t bone to around 120 instead of 115. I still like my meat on the rarer side.
