I haven't commented in a while. The most important things i have taken from every video is the honesty, seriousness of the thought process put into it, but also always having fun in every video. We eat with our eyes first and you have done countless videos that I just knew before you took that first bite it was going to be awesome. I love how Amy just reinforces my thoughts with her comments. Sometimes I am saying at the same time as her it's great just like that and other times the lights are coming on with you as you explore other variations of this awesome dish you just made. Of course there are many times I am like "I wouldn't change a thing about that dish, except next time make more of it" Great Job!
@@melculp9981 us too. I cannot order a steak at a restaurant anymore…I buy good quality, and know how to cook it well…done well, not well done. And my wife won’t order ribs either. Mine are just too good to bother with the restaurant version. Pancakes, eggs, burgers, you name it. All are better at home. Sometimes we will go out, though, just to try a new menu item we’ve never had before. Then I promptly re-create it at home…better.
That looks SO delicious!! I've never seen (probably because I've never looked for) smoked sausage packaged like that. At first, I thought the sausage wasn't 'done' ... then I heard you say it was smoked sausage, which I love. THANKS for another Sunday Family get-together idea for me (it's usually dinner, but sometimes we get everyone here for breakfast/brunch instead). I'm droooooling...
except that if you eat this sandwich every morning, in 10 years it's a heart attack, cholesterol or diabetes that will kill you, the word "best" here can perhaps be attributed to the flavor, but certainly not to the satisfaction of being well fed, I much prefer my healthy breakfasts to this crap🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
I do something similar but with a quality bagel instead of bread. I usually use american cheese so now you've got me thinking I need to change up to the swiss and cheedar. Yum!
OMG … my mouth was watering all the way through this video … then when you took a bite that was the AWWWW Moment .. I went and got the recipe and I’ll be making this one for sure !! Great job. Thank you 😊
I love that it was said, that not going to restaurants because you can make food better than any restaurant, i've always said that I love creating breakfast sandwiches every morning Same exact reason i never go to restaurants, whatever someone's favorite meal at any restaurant, you can make the same thing at home, (or better than restaurants) all you need is the ingredients
The Breakfast King pushes it up again. Have to do it all on the griddle though, this looks fantastic. We only use real maple syrup from a sugar bush in Vermont.
Long time follower, first time commenting…. This looks amazing and doesn’t seem overly complicated for a learning cook like myself. Thanks for sharing.. I’m gonna try this soon. God bless.
That TMG burner is a beast! - It would be nice to be able to choose different size flames for different sized pots. I've been making Bacon Onion Jam for several years now - It has become a family favorite (mostly on burgers). - Balsamic vinegar is also a popular ingredient. - Cheers!
That is another fantabulos breakfast sandwich. Don't bother Amy, she want's another sandwich. You hit another homer with this one Neal, thanks for the recipe. Stay safe and have fun around there. Fred.
The cooker is what got my attention. My suggestion is to have a flip top grate or a second grait so you can use a large traditional Wok on it. I have two 22" cast iron skillets. That cooker would work nicely nicely for one of those. I currently use a 22"webber kettle with those big skillets. But something like that would be great.
My husband and our family produce pure maple syrup along with aged Bourbon syrup. Also maple sugar n candies. Mike's Pure Maple Syrup, Palo, Mi. Maple sugar can replace brown sugar. We're state inspected and members of our state club.
Next time your mother-in-law goes to Pennsylvania, have her pick you up some Lebanon bologna. It is a smoked, fermented bologna. I may be biased as I grew up on the stuff since Lebanon is my dads hometown so he kept us in stock. But its a fantastic sausage. .
That sandwich looks awesome! I'm definitely going to try it. What did you think of the Old Folks sausage? Originated in Tennessee but a Kentucky sausage since 1950. It's my favorite brand.
I heard that if you take a garlic clove and rub it on the griddle around your egg, the egg will not run past that perimeter. However, I haven’t tried that yet.
@@TheFlatTopKing I'm bidding my time until I can get me a griddle and pellet smoker.. I've been so inspired and have several recipes that I have created to try on a flat top griddle. Apartments are not friendly to those said devices.
You mentioned that you normally don't like sweet and savory in the same bite. I can relate to that. I see this recipe and wonder how I'd like it with either the brown sugar or the maple syrup, but not both. Any advice?
I thought with the right maple syrup it helped out..thats actually what spured the idea....its something I've never had...even my grocery stores maple does not taste like this...I think both we perfect because one flavor did not over power the other...
I made it this morning but couldn’t find the recipe link, so I eyeballed it. I must have either used too much brown sugar or cooked it down too long because I ended up with more of a caramel than a jelly. Still, it tasted great.
Love that side burner…burner…stove…big @$$ stove…nice. Whatever you call it. I like that you can move it around, and it looks super powerful. Not that I need another cooking appliance in my yard, but I’m gonna check that out. And hey, that is one heck of a breakfast sandwich. Sure looks good. I actually do, on occasion, like the combo of sweet and savory. I’m going to have to try this out.
First, that TMZ Pits Stove looks Bitchin'!! A mod I would highly recommend is getting a wok grate, that would be dope! And the option for a hideously high BTU output :) What has gotten into you lately Neil? This is the 2nd video you have made in the past week where you have left me speechless! Holy crap this looks like a $20 breakfast sandwich! I have just got to make this later in the week. My diet can wait another week or two haha!
