      The senators well know that the Attorney General cannot and will not comment on current investigations. When they ask him for his opinion the AG cannot give an opinion but only answers based upon the law.
      So they use their time to yell, accuse and spread wild conspiracy theories and there's not much he can do about it.
      Have you noticed when Garland tries to answer he gets cut off and yelled at again?
      You'll also notice that the same senators when their time is up will check their phones to see how they are trending on Twitter. Ted Cruz is notorious for such antics.

    My children were in fourth grade and suffered that major learning loss. They were forced to learn google classroom 3 years before the schools normal routine implementation of that software.
    It was a nightmare of missed assignments and a bucket of stress for everyone. My kids were a consistent honor role before that, and since the school opened its classrooms, are now consistent honor role again.
    Shutdowns caused far more harm then they will ever talk about.
    The gestapo investigating parent's was the icing onthe cake.

    "...certainly I don't know _anything_ about my employees..." STOP right there!! Holy F! This went as far as a congressional hearing. This isn't some surprise. This is a huge deal, done by his _employees_ and despite the possibility that be may not have known at the time that the memo was being written or by whom, has he not had either A) time to investigate _his employees_ ti figure out WTF is going on with this memo or 2) fired them for not explaining in detail WTF is up with the memo? How the $#!T did someone so irresponsible reach this high of a position of power?!?!?

    What these senators need to do is confirm, before any other questions, that they are talking to the person IN CHARGE of the agency. Apparently, to hear him tell it, Garland isn’t that person.

      Garland is the head of the department he is the one to go after! That fact that he continues to lie and say he knows of nothing should be enough to end his career and position. If he is not overseeing his department then he's not doing his job.

    • @williamclayton7343
      @williamclayton7343 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are sadly mistaken. Garland never denied issuing the memo. He is the right person to respond. And he did quite thoroughly. You choose to ignore the fact that he is in charge of the entire DOJ with 115,000 employees. So if there are a couple of cases he doesn’t know the specifics of, I think that is understandable. Kennedy drones on about the chilling effect this program has had on parents at school board meetings. I truly don’t see that in anyway shape or form. Opens with the importance of protecting free speech rights. I believe it has had a chilling effect on threats and violence at school meetings. Maybe you could share your plan to stop these issues at school board meetings?

    Apparently what politicians and leaders do not understand in this day and age is something called responsibility. If a subordinate is doing something that you disagree with it is your responsibility to stop that action if possible and correct the issue. Currently they let the actions continue then say I had nothing to do with it and assume they shouldn't be held responsible. What weak individuals that is really what this is.
