Employment laws means he probably cannot discuss certain firings. And for their own safety, he would not disclose where they have agents and informants under rover either. I am not defending Garland, but he would be under no obligation to risk revealing sources of information against potential terrorists. I mean, we do need to protect the ability to have informants and under other agents. I assume there is potential misdeeds in regards to Muslims who are not terrorists as well. Or even Jews or non-Catholic Christians like the KKK.

I must say I even though I'm a republican, I generally don't care for Hawley. But in THIS case, he aced it. I'm Catholic and what I heard here is downright scary. It also surprised me that Hawley, who is one of those non denomination conservative Christians who belongs to a church which is more like attending a show (even the church is a theatre and not like a traditional church building) and represents a state with few Catholics would be defending Catholics in this way.

That answer is chilling. The fact that he can't categorically say "None" is damning and after listening to the rest of his exchange with the Senator the only conclusion one can reach is there are at least SOME.

The fact is, why would he know if he has informants in Catholic Churches and ask yourself, if there are informants, are they part of bigger hate groups? If so, if they are violent extremist hate groups, why would he revels confidential informants and risk getting them killed? Informants identities are protected by law, so if he makes specific references, then he risk any informants at any place being exposed and murdered. Informants may be members of the Church who witnessed crimes and told the FBI about major terrorist activity. Why is it hard to believe there are Catholic terrorist groups? There is extremism in every faith. I know good Catholics, but Hawley did not show 20-30 armed agents, he showed about half a dozen at most. The better person to question is the agents who made decisions to go to the suspect’s home. How his case turns out has nothing to do with the force used to take him in. Also, is there proof the suspect offered to turn himself in besides his lawyers or himself saying so.

We need more people who are this explicit in their questioning. I especially love the line that essentially said, "Well surely you know by now. Have you looked into this?" That's the perfect response for people who get out of stuff by basically abdicating responsibility. If I were to do it again I can see a couple of other places where the questioning could be even tighter, but yes, we constantly forget the concept that if a major violation occurred we can call someone out for not investigating after the fact and taking appropriate action against those who were responsible.

Just because a person using an effective technique isn’t a good person, it doesn’t somehow follow that the technique they are using is a bad technique. I don’t automatically accept your premise that he is bad, and I don’t automatically reject it. If it was important, I would do the research on that topic, but since I don’t vote for him and am not actively campaigning for him and my only purpose in this video was to evaluate the technique, not the man, at the moment I see zero value in even researching that particular point.

Little unprofessional if his job was to present facts and if the pictures presented did not accurately represent facts. Why were they not showing a wider angle view of the entire snout of agents present? We established with a regular photo they were heavily armed. And a family photo has no bearing on what he did or did not do. Though the fact he was acquitted may look bad, if they had reasonable cause for a search and arrest warrant, than no laws were broken.

Giving aid and comfort to such persons is also treason (which, arguably, Garland might be guilty of doing). Violating an amendment to the constitution is not a treasonous act, even if it's reprehensible. Just look at how too-many cops in America behave; they would be far more wary about how their actions could be construed if they could be tried and convicted for treason.

I go to a traditional Roman Catholic Church and the FBI literally came to our church and spied on us. They did this to multiple traditional Catholic Churches in the U.S. who do the Latin Mass. They got personal information on the clergy and parishioners. I heard people say they see us as being dangerous and radicals. If that’s what the FBI thinks of us, as we go to church and pray, and afterwards families, usually consisting of a mother and father, go home and keep Sunday a quiet and religious day, then they are messed up.
