Love watching your videos! I teared up when you were talking about how you and Andrew made sacrifices so you can stay home. This is myself right now. We live in a cheap house and make it work as my husband works two jobs. My son has autism (12 years old) and homeschool him and take care of my other 2 littles. It is totally worth it!!

Ellen, iv been watching your channel for probably about 7 or 8 years now. Your channel is the reason i realized I DID want children, but i was terribly overweight and unhealthy and couldn't get pregnant. After working hard and losing over half my body weight, i was finally able to get pregnant with my husband of 10 years. Im now 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby, and i can not tell you how uplifting and inspiring you and your family's outlook on life is. This is also truly one of the most gorgeous videos you've made to date, and even though the videos are less frequent, the quality and care is still there and apparent. I know you dont know me and i dont know you, but your channel has been so important to me as a reminder to love, and be calm in my life, and for that you are a friend to me. Thank you for all you do!

This video made me tear up, you have such a talent for making videos. I have watched your journey since it was just Elvis and I have loved tuning into your videos. Your life is such an example of how I want to raise my family. On the beach, eating healthy food, owning my own piece of land, having a great community of friends. You have such a beautiful life and I am so excited to see how it continues to grow and flourish throughout the years.
Whenever I struggle to get all the things done, if I’m lacking motivation to cook healthy meals, to work out or if I feel like I can‘t do gentle parenting anymore, your videos help me get back on track. Ellen, I think this might be my favorite video you've ever made. I was just having this teary conversation with my husband as we have our first child who's 1 1/2 and I'm feeling so unsatisfied with where my life is at. When you looked back at your life as it was just truly starting to where you are now, I could feel my body taking a deep breath and knowing that this is only the beginning. Being with my daughter and creating a fulfilling life are the most important things to me, so thank you for that special reminder. Also, the music throughout this whole video was incredible! I was just talking to my sister in law the other day and said like “oh I’m in such a personal crisis, I want to be like Ellen, I want to be a Hawaii nature girlie and mother that just lives in tune with nature and her kids but I feel so stuck bla bla bla” and my sister in law said “oh I know what you mean but see that Ellen probably has her struggles too…” and now you’re posting this video talking right out of my heart!! As a senior it seems easy to offer the slow down type advice; but remembering back to being a young Wife and Mom; its easier said than done. Your videos are so inspiring and have been following you for several years. Your priority should be your beautiful children and husband. I will enjoy your videos whenever you can make them to share.
I just scoured the internet for about 10 hours and this was the only uplifting content I found.
You probably won't share your real life struggles in a more complete way with us, but God, it would be so encouraging to see or hear them. The videography is amazing, the shots are perfect, the peace and joy are almost tangible. Yet I miss something. There was a moment when you called your kids to come inside to wash their teeth. It was so real and I would so love to hear what happened next. Did they all come in afterwards? Did some of them resist? How did you react..etc.
I know that I was born and raised in a completely different culture (Hungary) so your calmness, creativeness, dedication are probably on the next level. I don't know. But I am curious.
I agree. I’d love to see more real moments. I sometimes finish watching her videos, though very beautiful and calming, feeling worse about myself because my life isn’t as perfect as hers.
@@conscioushomestead she does often mention that life isn't as perfect as the videos make it look. I have the same feeling of calm with the videos but also the thought of okay why don't you show the real stuff more then, why does everything need to look perfect.
I feel like it started off more real when she started making videos years ago and that she's more of an influencer style youtuber now.

As a new mom on two babies under 3, two senior dogs to care for, and new entrepreneurs, life can get easily overwhelming and stressful. On the rare days where I let the overwhelm take over and start to question everything, I always find myself watching one your videos to bring me back to center. Your life, is my vision board-the love you pour, outlook on life, what you’ve created on your land and your self love is what I strive for. So, thank you for being brave enough to share with us all.
This video was so beautiful, I felt all the feelings and cried. As close to heaven as it gets😭💜 Seeing life through this lens is truly breathtaking and shows you what is important. Not all the material stuff you can get, but time with your loved ones and the true joy of children. No matter what sacrifice you make, children are a reward from God and worth every late night, every spill or mess and every heart ache. This video was a blessing and I felt at peace watching this! A quick hello to say I have 5 ( 4 mos 2 n a half just turned 5, 12 and almost 16) . I am sooo tired!!! The good news is we finally are getting a bigger house..my last labor wasn't as fearless as the one before n I'm done having babies ( at 47) but loved your birth videos n love the vegan life w the kids..keep doing your thing Gurl❤

Your videos have transformed over the years. They had a big vegan focus and family. I like the wisdom you share from what you are learning. It is always so helpful to see someone doing what they are sharing about. These years they are young are so valuble...It's so valuble for your kids to see that you also had a couple life, friends of your own as well. On the note of how much is on your plate, always consider staff somewhere. Just two hours of cleaning a week, or two hours of cleaning your car, or three hours of babysitting a week while you and Andrew go to the beach alone. Your here living now and this can balance it all better. Don't always wait for what you want/need. Don't hang onto small money that can make life sparkly!!xoxo

Shortly after I had come across a video of you talking about Gary Yourofsky and I listened to his speech and immediately became an ethical Vegan. My husband and I went on our honeymoon in Maui back in 2007 and the mangoes we had there were by far the best I’ve ever eaten. We talked about moving there on our honeymoon but never did. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish we had.
