This Vortech V3 HO is a real SOB to put on the S197 3V, it leaves no room at all, and everything has to come off to get to the alternator. This looks much easier than mine.

I have the Vortech V3 on my 3 valve, did the Steeda delete plates, makes a huge difference. Got 741/663, pulls so hard you look like a Pez dispenser when ya launch
Did you have to put any crankshalf support to prevent the crankshalf snout from snapping?

Hey man I know it’s a bit random but could you give me all the things I’d need for the “kit” to get 700 wheel on my 3v. Have Detroit rocker cams and support mods for that but want to install this on mine
@@samuelbabbitt3223 Well, I got my system (supercharger V3 H.O.) kit from Brenspeed in Indiana. At the time I have the Detroit Rockers (blower grind) and loved them. I also have the Aluminator short block (they do not make it anymore) , it is all forged internals, your going to need that strong internals to keep from busting stuff up. After I messed up the Detroit Rocker cams (my fault) and dropped a valve I had to do a complete rebuild, it busted up the piston #5 really bad and destroyed the head om the drivers side. After that I went and got all new parts but this time I put in the Comp Cams #127650, these are REALLY high lift cams and they require lockouts for the phasers and also heavier springs. I am having buyer remorse on these Comp cams 127650, it appears that many have had the same issues that I have had, I dropped a valve and this time it was #6, and again it destroyed the head (see video) and the piston. I have all the correct mods, all the tuning was done by a very well known tuner, this guy travels the world to reach others how to tune cars, he is spot on. This by far is not my first motor, more like my 70th or 80th, so I know for a fact I did everything perfectly. I also have 60 pound injectors and the dual GT pumps to make sure I have the fuel covered. So getting to 700 isn't really easy, and as you can see it can be costly lol. I am thing about either LS swapping it or doing a Coyote swap, I along with many many other believe this is a better platform to build big power off of and make it reliable. I know this is long winded, but i appreciate the people that view my videos and think I should give a complete and thorough answer when they ask. Makes no boost or power until 6k, I was expecting a ton of boost and power, makes 6psi at 6000 rpm, how much boost do you make
I’m about to pull the trigger on the Vortech V3 for my 16 GT , I can’t wait!
Just extra check all the fittings/hoses. A lot of guys don't double and triple check clamps and overall fitment only to have shit blowing off later on.
Get the vortech v7 jtb you'll thank me later

i was about to get the same setup but i backed out because I heard those blowers tend to break in extremely cold weather conditions (i live in MA)
Most big power adders are not good in very cold or very hot conditions, times of year.

I am currently Looking at the Whipple 3.0L 3rd Gen S/C Stage 2 which puts out over 750+ to 800+ HP, I live in California so we have 91 Octane and E85 in limited places!
How would you compare the Vortech S/C you're using to the Whipple S/C for the 2018+ Mustang GT?...Also, is the Vortech S/C 50 State Street Legal that you're using like the Whipple S/C 3rd Gen 3.0L unit?...Thank You and God Bless America! 😇

The V3 JT is the same as a novi 2200 but can spin to 60k ask Terry from beefcake he’ll let you know
Bad thing is you ain't changing that belt on the side of the road like other blowers but it sure does look sick!

Banging gears on a prepped track and dumping the clutch consistently at 5k RPMs might present an OPG issue, on the street you most likely won’t have an issue.
Not really planning on tracking the car much, especially on stock axles and driveshaft. Once I pump up the boost and get all that done I’ll be sure to do opgs
@@quinncalero4274 yeah. I just had my OPGs done at the same time I added boost. Saved me install money later on. Instead of basically having to take the whole blower out just to install the OPGs.

So how reliable are the 2018+ mustang gt with supercharger on it. How many miles have you done with the supercharger on it ? Any issues so far. I’m planning to supercharge mine but I’m scared of the reliability. Don’t wanna blow my engine. Or how many hp is safe to for the 5.0 coyote
I added the Vortech all-in-one kit on my 2020 Mustang GT. The kit comes with a programmer and a tune for 91 octane. I also upgraded the oil pump gears and crank sprocket for the added horsepower. It dynode at 600 WHP and 500 ft. pds of torque. Parts cost 9K and 4K to have a professional garage install it. This setup should be very reliable.
Dont add power under the 5yr/60k mi powertrain warranty then unless its a ford supercharger and must be installed by a dealership. The moment any dealer see's a supercharger or turbo on your 5.0 and its not that crappy roush/ford garbage, the vehicke gets silently flagged in oasis the ford service database.
700 crank/625 rwhp is generally safe. Oil pump gears and crank blow due to high rpm more than exccessice power. Keep redline under 7400 and really more like 7100-rpm since power is fallibg off a cliff at that point unless you have heads or NA Cobrajet intake, then you'll need to do those two items or push over 660+ wheel hp/750+ crank hp.
And dont beat on it daily, let oil temp and trans temps come up to normal before blasting it and let it cool down 10 min after flogs.

Did you guys run into any issues with the IC piping and Adaptive Cruise Control module located below the bumper support on the driver's side? I hear a lot of people have had to make modifications to the bracket and/or it just doesn't work at all.
I just cut off the arm that goes back because of the piping. It’s still mounted with the other screws on the bracket and it works fine.

builds boost as rpms increase, boost comes on around 4,000 rpms and boost increases all the way to redline, belt driven turbo essentially.... Whipple and Roush blowers are always on boost if throttle plate is open, more torque down low, less boost up high... I'll take centrifugal over roots or twin screw anyday! Love the way it makes power! Yes it will light the tires...

And that build made me broke as shit lol

Only thing I don't like about this style Supercharger is the way the air filter goes inside the bumper and to clean it is a bitch. I'd rather have one that sits on top like a JLT.

These domestic V8s sound so weak and tiny in size with rhino with a head cold and sinus issues X-pipes. Put an H pipe in for BEEF and Muscle.
