I have exact same kit and I’m not able to oc it, I’m using a 13700K Z790M aorus elite ax, maybe got jinxed on silicon lottery 😢 Edit: I was able to achieve 7200 same config as you with 1.45V
Yes using the latest bios. Actually I tried to run TM5 and it was not stable :( Going to try tweak some cpu voltages maybe? Since I’m UVing the ring voltage, and cpu core voltage but I don’t think those change something. What do you think?
Hmmmm. Trying to decide if I should buy the 32GB version of this kit. Its 7200 cl34. My current kit is kingstom 5600 cl36 overclocked to 6400 cl30, and thats about as far as I can push it as its mdie. But this other kit, its probably A-die and its on my shitty mobos qvl. But I'm not sure if it'd really be worth it in the end. I looked up the 48gb version, its like double the price here in Canada. But the 32gb kit is on sale a really good deal right now.
Well, that depends on the board you have. You've not listed it but for sure 48GB kits are way easier to OC than their 32GB equivalents. While this set may not tighten as much as A-die and certainly not as much as the OG 16gbit M-die, it can still go the distance. I've been able to do CL30 6400, on this very kit.
@@TheOverclockerMagazine My mobo is the gigabyte b760 auros elite ax ddr5. But at least in my experience, its a pretty good overclocker. Judging with passmark it brought my 5600 cl36 kit from performing worse than my old ddr4 kit to getting into the 99th percentile. 48gb sounds nice and all but its just not available at a realistic price here. Do you think 7200 cl34 ( or possibly lower if oc'd) is worth it over 6400 cl30? Dont think I mentioned it before but my cpu is the 13600k but I've ordered a 14700k. Hopefully it has an even better imc though I suppose its always possible its actually worse.
How about settings for this same RAM (Z5 RGB DDR5 6400) in four Sticks at 128gb total in the Z790 Gigabyte Gaming X AX. Using this setup primary for Video editing/Content creation. CPU - i7 13700K, 1200watt PUS, 3080ti. :-). Thanx in advance.
It is likely not going to be possible and or rather you're going to have an easier time running 6,000 as opposed to 6400. That said, I'd not tune too much depending on the ICs of the memory. If it's 16 Gbit M-die (i.e not this kit's ICs) CL30 should be fine.

Sold me on the The MOST EPIC - GSKILL TRIDENT Z5 RGB DDR5 6400 - 48GB
Still my best kit. It really is awesome value for money with huge OC potential. Running 8400 daily now.

Oh no that doesn't sound good. At the very least 7800 should be possible. In fact you should not need 1.45V for 7200. Are you on the latest BIOS?

Muito bom seu vídeo.
Congratuleitions.
Nice video, i would like to purchase this G.Skill Trident Z5 64GB (2x32GB) RGB 6400MHz in UAE, Any affordable sellers in GCC for Gamers?
Thanks. However, I'm not sure where to buy in your region. Amazon no?
Thanks bro
Comprei essa memória para rodar em uma Asus X670e-plus.
Estou escolhendo o processador agora, estou querendo um AM5 3xd, mas estão muito caro.
7800X3D ftw!
Better choice is TeamGroup 7200Mhz or G skill 7200? Or maybe other RAM for i9-14900k and Gigabyte MB GBT Intel 1700 Z790 AORUS ELITE X?
Can't say as I've not tested either of those kits. However I'm super happy with this 48GB G.SKILL set 8200 all day every day at 1.35V
@@TheOverclockerMagazine Hi, your RAM based on Hynix A or M?
All the 24Gbit kits as far as I know are M-die. @@S-t-i-n-g-ray

What motherboard are you using and CPU?

RGB for the win.
Can you please share your primary, secondary and tertiary timings for these benchmarked OC profiles?

Hey Friend whats is better G.skill Trident Z5 6000c30 vs 6400c32 to Ryzen 7800x3d cpu game bound ook , like the video
Get the 6400C32 Kit instead I think.
@@TheOverclockerMagazine ok thx
Im going to try 7200@ 1.25. I have this exact kit im using an B650E Taichi with a 7800x3d. I'll let you know 😂😂😂
lol I am kinda similar B650 Aorus + 4070 super + 7800x3d. and prob getting this 2x24 Ram
is cl really matter? the CL30 is sold out on my area, the available one is the CL32,
should i wait to get the CL30 or is it okay to buy the CL32?
32 to 30 won't make a meaningful difference. Usually the higher latency sticks have higher frequency to compensate
Shouldn't make much of a difference.
This kit works with z690?
Yes should not be an issue on any Z690 board.
does this ram work for ryzen 7 7800x3d
Yes it does. I'll be using this same RAM with that CPU as well.
