I've been vaccinated against all the standard illnesses, plus yellow fever, hepatitis A and B, and typhoid (which only lasts about 5 years, so the immunity is probably gone by now).
Vaccines and vaccine science is an amazing triumph of science and responsible for a better quality of life and longevity than any other single development in public health. It's an ironic tragedy that with the internet, when people have easier access to info than ever before in history, the anti-science movement has grown so much.
Vaccines, whether for humans or other animals, properly tested and administered, are a wonderful and safe means to prevent serious illness or even death. If anything, they should be made available and used more liberally, especially since the danger associated with over vaccinating is zero, and the danger associated with under vaccination is so high.

@@roberte.6892 that’s an incredibly unfortunate and dangerous viewpoint to hold. I highly suggest you look into the information on vaccine inserts that’s not openly offered to the public. Many of the vaccines pushed on children before a year of age list SIDS as a side effect. Even the vitamin K shot isn’t safe. The actual vitamin K is the smallest ingredient in the injection. That alone should tell you something!

Why is that? $$$$

I once got "put down" by a vet. I told her lets just give him what he absolutely needs. I couldn't afford all that extra stuff. She (nastily) said people shouldn't have animals if they can't afford them. He was fixed and had his yearly needs, was happy and healthy. All my animals were rescues that got dumped at the forest we live by. I should have reported her (wanted to smack her) but just never went back.

Her experience is very rare in that she was able to trial both pharmaceutical vaccines and homeopathic and see the difference. She helps me when my pets get sick. I've always had my male dogs neutered - ALSO pushed to do so by the vets, of course, like most people have been - no doubt.
YEP, I watched that video, and took heed of the REAL benefits of NOT neutering : often longer and more healthier life, overall. My male Collie - who I got at 9 weeks old in March of 2020 and is now 20 months old - will NOT be getting neutered due to the extreme overall health benefits of 'keeping his equipment' ! He gets along really well with other dogs - no aggressions, etc. I call my dear 'Laddie' my dingly dangly boy ! ;)
He got his DHPP puppy shots once then one booster, and rabies at 6 months, and that will be all he'll get - as recommended by the 45 year Collie breeder/shower who KNOWS all about 'over vaccinating vets' out here !! As she commented about people being coerced into 'yearly vaccinations' and aside from the very possible bad effects of them :
" Well - someone has to help pay for that cottage on the lake of his - and that would be YOU !! "
( Fun fact : my vet has one of those down in NY state... !!!)
Just for a bit of info : ALL the dogs that played 'Lassie' were intact male dogs. The original and first Lassie - that was in the movie " Lassie, Come Home" in 1943 and also starred in the TV show for the first couple of seasons, in the 1950s, lived to be 18 years old !! Our male dog we had growing up was also not neutered, and he lived just past 18 years old.
So, there you are ! :)

We need more veterinarians like Dr. John Robb to stand up for the oath he took and we, the pet owners need to back him! I had two littermates, Sotts & Nikki. They were 15 years old. It was "time" for their 3 year rabies vaccine - required by law. I was very hesitant because they were old but in really good health. I did take them to get their vaccine in mid-June or I would not be able to get their county license July 1st and I would be fined by the county and ultimately my dogs taken away. By mid August they were both dead - Both of them! I was devastated!! Within 2 weeks of the vaccines they were getting sick. Nikki was having seizures. Sotts just stopped eating. I incurred several thousands of dollars in vet bills. They passed a week apart and I was heart-broken - TWICE - and ultimately, I feel, for shots they never needed considering their age.

      Kelly Forth,
I’m sorry. Dogs should be immune to rabies at that age. I won’t license my dog, but I don’t see how the county could have found you and taken yours away.
Mine was mistakenly double vaccinated for rabies (my older dog was “due” for hers). I think it’s caused problems. I haven’t had her vaccinated since. I’ll have her titers done, like I did with my previous dogs. It’s interesting that titer testing has become ten times more expensive in the last twenty years.

Yes!!! I love Dr. Becker she is spot on! I work at a animal hospital and it sickness me on how many times we have to vaccinate peoples pets. Their bodies don't know that the vaccine they got has a expiration date and has to be boosted in 1 or 3 years. I've seen dogs that live perfectly fine and haven't a vaccine in years, I mean most of the dogs in shelters probably aren't "up to date" on their vaccines. What bothers me more is when I see or hear a vet or tech freak out that a dog/cat hasn't been vaccinated within the "required" time frame and provide with extra caution because they might give them rabies. Its time to wake up people we are over vaccinating our pets!

@Yellow legally, dogs need to be up to date on at least rabies, and titers do not count. If your dog is not vaccinated for rabies and it eats a dead animal outside or gets an injury from an unknown source, you will need to quarantine them for 4 months. The distemper vaccine is also a core vaccine recommended to be continued throughout a dog's life, and I have seen dogs die from not being properly protected as puppies. Do your research in multiple areas because it's your choice in the end, but be aware of the risks if you choose not to vaccinate, spay, or use preventatives.

We had a very matted stray little poodle show up at our doorstep. After doing due diligence we finally took the little guy to the vet. Got him chipped and a rabies shot. My husband wanted to get one of the other shots, so I hesitantly agreed, but said I wanted to do it later… Spread them out. Anyway, the vet we were saying tried to say that he needed a series of that shot since he hadn’t had any before. I said we don’t know that he hasn’t had vaccinations before he’s a stray, and I don’t think that stacking up extra shots is good for him. She told me, "you don’t understand over vaccinating is better than under vaccinating". Holy smokes. I will never go to her again….

The best diet is a natural diet for any animal like a raw or prey based diet. My cat used to suffer frequent urinary tract infections but I noticed after her last bout, ever since I improved her raw ingredient diet, she recovered a lot faster.. I added egg yolks, cranberry extract, and eggshells. We have to learn about their nutrition, it is the first line of defense.

Hi. I don't understand why it's so difficult for pet owners to do was is best for their pets. If a vet gives you a hard time because you don't want to over jab, or because you feed raw, there always is another vet around the corner. You are the boss of your pet, not any vet or other people's opinions. Do what's right for your pet and don't allow anyone else to tell you how to take care of your pet. After all... there was no vaccines for pets many years ago. There was no such thing as kibble or canned many years ago, and pets were so healthy back then. They worked hard and slept hard but they were healthy and they lived a hard life but they were healthy especially compared to working dogs today

BTW, Illinois requires vaccines...yearly. There is NO reason for yearly vaccines, especially rabbis. Veterinarians only get vaccinated once in school and are declared good after than. Crazy. In the Netherlands, your puppy gets shots when he's 8 weeks or so, and then nothing for a long time. Repeat shots every year, but not for as many things as American dogs get. Yet Dutch dogs live longer while they interact more with other dogs.
Incidentally: many shots don't have to be repeated every year. Antibodies may easily be present for 3 years. So ask for a titer instead of an automatic re-inoculation.

It is because of pharmaceutical industry, both people and animals suffer from it in America. You can see the incredible cancer rates in both humans and animals along with all kinds of other problems. America is a very sick Nation and we have normalized it and even market it. Sickness for profit. You have to fight extra hard and withstand lots of judgment sometimes to protect yourself, your children and your animals. The government system is corrupt and is designed to protect these chemical corporations while the natural doctors and natural research get no support. For example I can get medical insurance but it will not cover a natural doctor. Only ones that deal out drugs with lots of side effects. The goal is to keep you a patient forever, never to get well forever codependent on the drugs.

Shocking. My cats came 'pre-owned', at 1 and 1.5 years old, I do not know their vaccine history. They got 2 shots after I got them, I have not even considered re-vaccinating since. Some vaccines are known to cause cancer at the vaccine location yet there still are many vets who either don't know or don't tell you. We live in a society where we have to fear all viruses and bacteria, forgetting that if we are in good heath (species specific diet /raw) we have an immune system to help fight off illness. Love Dr Beckers channel, lots of very informative information. The US healthcare system works on money, not on providing healthcare. There's money in the sick, not in the healthy or dead. Unfortunately many vets are being taught the same thing.

New vets coming in are brain washed by the corrupt community not unlike other professions out there. Sad the world has come to this. Money over health and in some cases the lives of our pets. Have I said it yet that I hate most vets because of this. Pet owners have to educate themselves and stand up to their vets as most are not acting in the best interests of their clients but in their own best interests.

Sadly, it's the same things for our Medical Doctors. It's not that they don't care...but they are brainwashed in their training. It started in 1920's with Rockefeller taking over the Medical schools and starting BigPharma...we haven't been as healthy since!! 54% of ppl with auto immune diseases when that word wasn't even known until the late 70's! 1 out of 3 with cancer...and just 40 years ago 1 out of 20 got cancer.

I had my Weimaraner at the vet, then after her exam & blood work requested a nail trim because I was ALREADY THERE (I do her nails myself but figured since I was at the vet they could do it) she said: My nurse has gone home for the day. (say what??? so does she think she is too good to trim nails and needs a vet tech to do it? Jeepers!!)Well she relunctantly trimmed them, like for pete's sake.

@@DarkChaos87 😂😂 I've seen a couple of your comments on other people's comments, you're vaccine obsessed.
Actually vaccines killed my cat here in the UK!
20 years ago I lived in South Africa we had 2 dogs and 2 cats, there were no vaccinating rules we didn't know much about it so we never vaccinated them. Not once. I don't remember one vet visit during their lives. They were very happy and healthy.
After my sisters son developed terrible seizures after vaccinations... I decided to never vaccinate my daughter, she's now 16 and very healthy, she never gets sick.
There are plenty of real life examples I've just given you. You don't have to accept it but vaccinations aren't actually the answer for true health. I know you love vaccines but not everyone has to agree.

Only vaccines I would say yes to, whooping cough, measles, mumps. Nothing else. Maybe the occasional tetanus.
And I'm not a fuxking m0r0n for covid. That shit's a bio weapon.
Next to that, I might get one if I go back to Mexico. Last time I went, I had a shot beforehand and I still ended up spewing from both holes.

Thank you for creating such a well-put-together video regarding this. I first learned about this very thing 8 years ago from Will Falconer DVM. I stopped vaccinating my dog 8 years ago and he’s 16 today. Ironically, my conventional vet doesn’t pressure me about getting my dog revaccinated, but my holistic vet encourages her preservative-free vaccines as if the preservative is the only thing I’m worried about.
Titer testing can be expensive if your vet doesn’t do them in-house so be mindful of that when you show up to your vet's office armed with knowledge. My vet in Northern CA charges $300-$400, but it’s better than poisoning your dog with $40 worth of unnecessary vaccines.
If you board your dog and the kennel requires that your pet's vaccination be up-to-date, it’s because they’ll lose their business insurance if they don’t follow these rules. Here’s the loophole…talk to the owner/manager because some of them will allow you to board your pet if you agree to sign a waiver releasing them from harm if your dog gets kennel cough or another ailment due to the noncurrent vaccines.

I have cats and they only got the first set of vaccines as kittens at the animal shelter. After that I never took them in for boosters because they are strictly indoor cats. And the latest cat we got at 8 months of age didn't come from a shelter...we got him from another person who did not vaccinate or neuter him. We got him neutered, but no vaccines. He stays indoors too, and he's very healthy. So if you keep them always indoors, there's no need for vaccines.

Seems cancel culture is actually backfiring because we are given the names of people telling us truth. Thank God for discernment.
