Selene's reaction was from being lied to by Victor for hundreds of years. When she finally finds love, they are separated and she was told he is dead. She is taking no prisoners.

I didn't find this as disconnected as you did but they brought the action above ground and in a modern world and it didn't translate so well. They showed them having sex and it shouldn't be a surprise that she got impregnated -- I just never Iiked that they didn't include MichaeI in the story -- scheduling buIIcrap I'm not buying
Well what I heard, was they just wanted to include short films with more role playing game style. Which lost an actual plot (simple unsatisfying plot), made the critics hate it and many hated the CGI (what the critics said not me, lol.). Not one of my favs but not to bad either. My fav is Rise of the Lycans'. Just like most trilogies, franchises, series theres one movie, show, season, etc that kinda sucks. Yet we fans still watch because we love the franchise, series, etc. Def love Selene back with her bad assness and with her icon outfit. As always fun watch, Thanx so much, take care, Peace I always ck now to make sure my sub and likes stay. Actually I know it sucks trying to find time, etc. but more vids faster it pushes ur algos.
Ugh. This was the lowest of the Underworld movies. Thank goodness this gets retconned in Blood Wars. Blood Wars is WWWAAAYYY better - back to Underworld standards!

This was the weakest movie in the Underworld film franchise. The last one "Blood Wars" is much better.
