I was just watching your BRZ snow video. What a difference ambient lighting does.
i ended up installing some ambient led lights in the foot wells of my 17 brz. you can’t see the actual LEDs just the diffuse light cast down and it makes such a big difference in the vibe of the car at night. made sure to hide all the wires and it looks mint

Majority of new BMWs are really reliable, most of the unreliable ones you see are from owners who just didnt like regularly maintaining them and left them to rot, which is why most BMWs you see have check engine lights on, newer ones are really well if all you do is take care of them and treat them how they are supposed to be treated, drive them, keep them maintained, and you will have an absolute beast on the road that will def turn some heads, own a 2011 535i, second hand owner, first owner barely took care of it, had to do a engine swap but now it's doing amazing on the road and I absolutely love, still needs work but when I'm done with it it'll be good as new, will def be putting some mileage on it.
@Jonathan A yeah, 14 and after is a good generation to get a v8 because that's when they started refining them, i6's and their I4'S which are pretty overlooked because of their horsepower ranges, are really reliable of you maintenance them correctly.

I'd highly recommend the 8 black over the 9 for night recording - the increased pixel density on the 9 really hurts low-light recording, so the 9 is a deal breaker for me! And yep, I record on wide hypersmooth and do a little bit of distortion correction in post

I hate the orange lights. I know bmw did does it for eye strain etc....but it looks dated. like old computers in middle school
The car is beautifully spec'd with the upgraded seats, Driving Assistance Reg and Pro, Heated and cooled cup holders, etc. but why the hell is there no m sport package? I mean if you're going to get all the other upgrades, whats $5,000 for the m sport package?

Hi, Can you please compare 2021 Lincoln Aviator with BMW X5 and/or Cadillac XT6? Would be really nice to compare these cars and get your thoughts on them. I test drove both Lincoln Aviator and BMW X5, and for me, it felt like Aviator is better than X5, both driving performance as well as luxury. Which one did you like better?

Ambient lighting is amazing in there but please BMW.... Get rid of the red button lights. Just go white or blue... It clashes so bad.

Yep, most 2013 - present bmw reliability is trash, i agree and wont argue with that. But hey i recommend this car when you want to have more than 2 car tho, reliability isn't a problem when you have 2 or more vehicle and speaking of the price of this vehicle probably the ones who could afford this has another car.

@@zhanazhana1001 The MDK has actually been performing worse than this car for 4 years on every reliability chart, plagued by transmission and infotainment issues. And iDrive is a great system as of late, I would recommend checking it out. I’m no BMW fanboy but I’d rather the X5, but of course, personal preference

Interior quality is so much better in the x5! The Rdx interior looks outdated and plasticy. And the driving of the x5 kills it so hard.

the new inline 6, the B58 is a pretty solid engine. I don't see much going wrong with it. the previous generation engines like the N55 were pretty solid as well. reliability is pretty good. as for repair costs, yes it'll cost a bit because it's a bmw not a chevy. you pay for quality
If you have the money to buy a brand new Bmw, than you have the money to maintain it. It’s all about maintaining.

Nice bells and whistles but the engine sucks, and all for only 60k. Sucker born every minute.
the b58 is actually a fantastic engine, and it produces more than adequate power for the size. rode in one many times, very quick, quiet and comfortable. one of the best mid sized SUVs in its class.

@@nicka8718 Your paying more because they in case everything in plastic to make it look pretty and high quality. Unfortunately, this makes them harder to work on and melts parts faster. It’s not good quality, it’s good marketing. Toyota’s are less to purchase and more reliable.

Not true. The only option I know of that is only available on the V8 is the Bowers and Wilkins sound system.
