Paul Gamble shows the most important part before boarding the airplane...making sure you do a proper gear check.
Doing a thorough gear check is no brainer. It doesn't take long and setting in the good habit will prevent something fatal from happening.

Great video.
I coach my novice skydivers to do just what you said.
For them to have and follow a routine every time.
The ONLY thing I would add is when you open your reserve flap, you should be sure the cable is going thru all 3 rings and the cable moves freely in the hard housing. I did see you move/wiggle the RSL ring tho.

Nice. Would also recommend to check your bridle's path all the way from the pin to the pilot chute making sure there is no key at the pin level and that there is no key at the pilot chute handle level.
