Thank you Gabriel and Francesca for sharing this video. I spent Christmas 2018 in Milan with my family. In fact we went on a tour of Italy in my daughter's (who lives in UK).minibus. We did Milan, Rome, Vatican, Florence, Pisa and Genoa before climbing the Chamonix on our way back to UK. We tasted that famous pastries, foccacerios, and we also had a buffet on christmas day. We would definitely everybody to go there again. Italy is amazing. God bless.

No doubt Milan is absolutely a beautiful place with lots of fascinating history, the ruins, the architecture of old monuments, also has an impressive style in the sense of art, fashion and culture.

I visited Milan ten years ago today, staying in the Città Studi district. I even remember taking my laundry to a laundromat on Via degli Imbriani near Piazza Bausan and Politecnico di Milano Bovisa. I walked around Castello Sforzesco and back to Piazza del Duomo along Via Dante. Later that evening I walked from Piazza del Duomo to San Babila. It was a very sunny day, temperatures may have been 30 to 35 degrees.
The day before, I walked along the Naviglio district, and walked to the Romolo station to return to Città Studi at Loreto.
I like this video, it contains places in Milan that I have not yet visited, in spite of having visited the first time by myself on 5th-6th July 1997, a good 24 years ago. Now I have a reason to return, if I could only work out the tram connections...

Francesca did a great job but it looks a bit like a tourist hell. The art exhibition was rather childish, essentially toys made by young adults. Maybe that was the project they were given, but they will need to up their game and express their feelings about the real world. I'd imagine it's better at night.

Milan is definitely NOT the capital of art. Perhaps it was the fashion capital in the nineties, but that's it. The most important touristic attractions in terms of ART are located in Rome, Florence, Venice, and many other smaller towns. The only thing Milan got is the Gothic Cathedral and 'the last supper', the famous Leonardo's fresco on the wall of Santa Maria delle Grazie's little church. Milan it's more like an industrial city. If you look for Art, Culture, ancient architecture of different periods, museums, famous paintings, amazing churches, and what not, related to Art, History, and Culture, it's not one of the first cities I would consider. Like I said, Rome, Florence, Venice, Siena, Lucca, Ferrara, I could name many more! Are the ones you wanna visit, if Art and History is what you are looking for.
I'm Italian, born and raised, so I know what I'm talking about.
