I'll have to use these tips when I visit Milan!
When do you plan on visiting Milan?
That terrace at the Duomo looks amazing! But we need to know if that last spin went well or not. Bring back the bloopers! :D
Thanks for watching Brie.
Thanks a lot. I am going to Milan in january. This vidéo is very useful
Have fun & Happy Travel
An amazing tour guy
Happy Travels and Thank you
Beautiful video & thank you. Italy such peaceful & beautiful natural placed. Visited Lake Como & Venice in Sept /2009 but our group missed Milan. 😐😐
Glad you enjoyed it! Next time you will have to visit Milan.
Not to worry... Milan is OK for sightseeing for one day but I'd say Venice and the lakes region are easily the best places in Italy together with Rome. You've seen amazing places. Milan is overrated think.
Great video. Thanks
Happy Travels. 🙏🏼
Great Advice!
Thanks for watching!

Hi Angel, I'm Dennis Daniels from Cleveland, Ohio! Thanks for sharing your video about visiting Milan, Italy 🇮🇹!
Thanks Dennis 👍🏼
Where are you from, angel?
La Stazione Centrale di Milano e il Cimitero Monumentale sono dei capolavori.
Meritavano una visita.
Grazie per il video.
Saluti from Milano 🇮🇹
Completely agree about the Stazione. A real gem.
ti accontenti di poco
🎉🎉🎉🎉 epic angel!
Thanks so much for watching Hermano
I've never seen the vertical garden before, very pretty.
It’s such a chill place to hang. Thanks for watching
One of the best video (if it is not the best)

Wow, thanks. More to come on Milan. Subscribe for more upcoming content
I just love your vlogs, Angel!!! You remind me of the "Robin Leach" of our generation and pay grade ;) Lol! thank you and keep up the great work!!!
Thank you. Much appreciated! Not as fancy as Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. But I do wish you Champagne wishes and Caviar dreams.
Angel, you're a travel journalist!
Thanks
I'm in Milan next weekend for the conference. It'll be my first time to visit the city, and my time to explore it is quite limited. Your video helps me plan and get the most out of it! Thank you! ❤
Awesome. Enjoy your free time in Milan
@@TheTourGuyVids Grazie mille! ☺
@@masterymusehow di It go?
This is amazing! Very helpful! When did you go? The weather seems nice and not as crowded
We filmed in Late May 2022. But I'm there all the time
Rick Steves has some serious competition. I was in Milan in Sept. 2022 and saw two things you need to add.
Add Leonardo's 21' tall iron horse replica. It's easy to get there by Metro. From there you walk to the cemetery,
which is insane in size and complexity. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Stay tuned for more. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the bell so you see our new videos dropping soon.
That pastry looked so good
It was delicious
You missed one of the most fantastic places in Milan and I highly recommend. Cimitero Monumentale di Milan. Found this by accident and will visit again and again whenever in Milan.
Thanks for the suggestion! Great idea!
Well done
Thank you

Update: linate airport is now connected to the city thanks to the new underground line (m4). Should takes 10 min and cost around 3 euros.
Great update. Thanks 🙏🏼
Amazing video man! Wanted your recommendations where to stay from where everything is walking. You mentioned in your video you stayed in central milan. Could you let me know where was it?
I don’t know what your budget is but check out this list of central hotels: thetourguy.com/travel-blog/italy/milan/where-to-stay-in-milan-this-year/
You’re just too good mate
Thanks 🙏🏽
We booked already a ticket going to Milan❤❤❤
That’s great. See you in Milan!
Milan is amazing visited place❤
Fun times 🙌🏽
Great work pulling this video together and love the passion and character
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing. Happy Travels.
love your videos!! Coming to Italy for the first time at Christmas. Your videos have really helped me and my husband book our trip. We are doing most by train. Arriving in Milan from Lake Como by Train. Where would you recommend for a hotel near the train station? I have booked your recommended hotels in both Rome & Florence.
Thanks for your time!!
thetourguy.com/travel-blog/italy/milan/where-to-stay-in-milan-this-year/
I don't recommend staying near the station
it's easy to reach every train station in milan from nearly anywhere so as long as you are in the city you shouldn't have any problems
Wish one day I can see those places.
Dreams come true. When you are ready we are waiting for you
Brilliant video! As a milanese, I'd say that you missed a few places, like Colonne di San Lorenzo, San Bernardino alle ossa church (really creepy but interesting), Sant'Ambrogio church, Palazzo Marino (in front of La Scala), Stazione Centrale (especially the Shoah memorial) and Cimitero Monumentale (great cemetery). There are also some roman ruins like Palazzo Imperiale di Massimiano and I suggest also the civic archeological museum. Finally, i suggest also City Life, a beautiful residential neighborhood. For what concerns the food, i strongly reccommend Risotto alla milanese con ossobuco, one of my favourite milanese dishes.
That sounds like a good plan for day two. 👍🏼
@@TheTourGuyVids Definitely! Unfortunately Milan has the stigma of being less attractive than other italian cities. Of course the competition is really high but Milan is not far behind and thanks to you this is more evident
Lovely video very informative. I am coming Venice in February, where we shall be taking the fast train to Milano central. Do you recommend booking the seats on the fast train in advance?
I do because you get the best possible deals that way and can save money.
Thank you!
Love man
Thanks so much 🙌🏼
i love milan
Me too
Nice
Thanks
Welcome all to my city 💪🏼😁🇮🇹
Grazie 🙏🏼
From Linate you can take a metro now ! Very fast way
Thank you!
Hello!, I loved your video, I will definitely do your route. I just need to know how to get around; I mean, I must buy a train ticket for each rute or there is some option to buy one for the whole day. What do you advise me?
Use Google maps to plan your transportation
Great video but one correction: The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is not a fresco. It is a mural painting created with tempera and oil on a dry wall, a technique known as "secco" in Italian. Unlike frescoes, which are painted on wet plaster and become part of the wall itself, secco murals are painted on dry plaster and are more susceptible to damage over time.
Yeah, we know. I misspoke thetourguy.com/travel-blog/italy/milan/last-supper/amaz-ing-facts-and-secrets-of-da-vincis-last-supper/
All of these in 1 day? 😍
"Art by Tintorento" haha you misspelled so many italian words, cute. haha
Google automatically captions. Sorry for the mis spellings. Thanks for letting me know
Would you recommend day trip to Milan from Venice if so are there trains coming back on a same day to Venice ?
I guess it depends on why you would want to do that? Most people find Venice so magical they don’t wanna leave.
i will be in Milan on September 13, would you please help to find two tickets for the entrance of Last Supper tour?
Sure thing. Happy to help. You can book here thetourguy.com/tours/milan/last-supper-tour

The perfect video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
I'm gonna go for half a day to hang out and go home. Morning till evening
Nice 👍🏼 Enjoy Milan
Awesome, awesome video. I'll give it an 8/10. 10/10 for literally everything except the way you say Renaissance, which I give a -1000000/10, lol.
❤
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
One more thing to say about Castello Sforzesco is that it served as the model for the Kremlin in Moscow.
Wow! That’s interesante
What about Bergamo airport?
What about it?
Do you know what has open on Easter Monday?
Not much. You’ll have to check each place or site individually
Monday Is normally critical, in Easter period even worse, why not take a train to visit Como and the lake? From Cadorna Station.
@@albertocarsenzuola3848 good comment and idea
Most things are closes on Momday
I am there next week, can you help?
Absolutely. Have a look: thetourguy.com/tours/milan
Love this video so much, and if any of you need a walkthrough on getting to the city center in Milan from the airports please do stop by on my channel.
Thank you 🙏🏼
8:20 i do see burj khalifa back there….
Good eye. A mini replica yes
7€ for cappuccino and cornetto! 😢 go to side of the center should be 4€
Pricey for sure. Especially compared to Rome. But the history, ambience and service are worth it to me
@@TheTourGuyVids maybe for you but to me it’s pretty much same to all bars(cafés) in italy. The design, presentation etc.
@@Joeythegoats that’s the great thing about travel. It’s subjective to the individuals tastes, desires, budget and interests. Happy Travels.
I went to Milan and after watching your video I've decided to try risotto milanese. It was a mistake 🥴 it was terrible, really heavy food and quiet expensive 😔
Bummer! Where did you try it?
@@TheTourGuyVids At restaurant "Osteria Italiana", the place was good, my husband had a lasagna which was perfect :)
@@Live_is_beautiful_by_Petya never heard of that place.
Spot for tourists near Stazione Centrale, you have to try it in a real trattoria
Never order risotto in a cheap place for tourists. Risotto needs time to be cooked.
Santa Maria DELLE Grazie. You spelt it wrong!
I guess we learned to spell in the same place
I just came back from my Milan trip and the Duomo and the castle were beautiful but the rest was sadly a bit underwhelming. Everything was also very pricey but not necesserly good. A bit disappointed for sure
What a bummer for you! Curious to know what your expectations were of the city.
This is crazy, I am going in July and there are no tickets available for any single day for the last supper, this is insane, and they sell all the tickets to you and all the tour guide companies that charge 3 triple the price, taking advantage of people.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game 🤷🏽♂️ Triple the price is inaccurate plus we have to pay the tour guide a livable wage.
Milan.. the Somalia of Italy
What does that mean?
@@TheTourGuyVids When I went last year it was full of Africans. But I saw the real Milan not just the tourist zone
I read it as Gay Guide
You mis read. DAY guide
