- Today I chat to Kacie, who has left her life in the US and moved to Florence a few years ago. Since then she's gained social media fame by candidly sharing the daily culture shocks she encounters in her life in Florence.
Kacie's story takes an unexpected turn when she meets her Italian boyfriend, Dario, during her first solo trip to Italy. Since then, she decides to step out of her comfort zone and call Florence her home. Kacie has recently released a book, "You Deserve Good Gelato," offering an honest account of her experiences. Pre-order your copy now and delve into her unique perspective on love, life, and relocation.

They are talking about little shops in towns and villages. But in Italy there are also malls and supermarkets. They are open all day long, every day in the week and sell everything. I don’t know why tourists don’t go there.
Prices are going up everywhere in the world
If someone stared at my girlfriend for 5 minutes and then asked me how tall she is and leave, it would be like the weirdest thing of the month
we (italians) work for living and non living for work for us is more important engioj live that engoj work and we tray to joint live and work like our gool
Even within Italy there are cultural differences. Northern Italy like Milan is way different than the south, like in Calabria.
No where in the world is it perfect
But you can just choose what is perfect for you personally. Sweden, for example. ❤
,,,,,, e hai perfettamente raggione!!! 🤦😭
That was an interesting video, especially about american culture of friendliness which is generally seen by europeans (like me, being German) as superficial. Well, after that talk I got a glimpse of understanding the "friendliness" approach.
I been traveling the world since I was little
@JAG214 u are luky greats from italy
Can you interview someone from the west who moved to a country in africa now that would be interesting because you don't hear many stories of that happening because people from the west usually always trevel to Europe which is noting new
The grass is not always greener on the other side
Depends on the field where you come from
I like caviar myself
A lot of people lie all over the world
I would say the US is more ethnically diverse and multicultural nation then Italy
@JAG214 don't foghet that wee have an older colture and an older habit with foreigners than us or oterr country for example
Gli italiani sono apasionati per la leí cucina e la sua cultura
American men wish American women were more direct and up front and to the point
I am like that. I am polite but to the point. They get intimidated
@@RobinSentell Who get intimidated ?
@@JAG214 Lot's of men.
@@RobinSentell I would not be
At least in the past it took 6 years to get a divorce, so I guess you better be careful not to marry ‘in undue time’ ..?
