@davenone7312 it's not my opinion that the intake valves Carbon up, it's the facts. Look into Toyota Lexus. Do any of those car manufacturers make any vehicle with direct injection only? Not one, and there's a reason!
Hybrids are over engineered JUNK! I will never own one or a BEV! The best drive train is a simple Naturally aspirated MPI ICE w/ a 5 or 6 speed auto or manual transmission. Longitudinal or Transverse, does not matter, although I prefer a RWD vehicle. Guess I'm getting OLD, LOL
But government run treehugger organizations are controlling the car industry and are demanding better MPG from all manufacturers. Therefore they do the craziest stuff just to get an additional fraction of an MPG out of a car. Thus we have crap transmissions like the CVT's and the DCT's! Hybrids etc. Its not their fault as they are forced into engineering garbage car systems just to appease them idiots over at the EPA and others.
Don't buy. Direct inject only is no good. You need both direct and port inject for longevity.
Use top tier fuel and change oil on severe usage cycle, and you will be just fine. Stop the fearmongering!
