I had the honor and privilege of knowing Mike aka Hawk personally and he was a great friend who was always there when I needed him and yes he had his demons and for many years I was a babysitter and nurse etc. He finally gave his life over to God and I can not stand Vince McMahon due to the fact that Mike called to make amends with Vince and he refused Mike's call and he passed not long after that Vince did screw them over many times. Mike I miss you everyday and would give anything to talk to you one last time and have one last hug. It will be 11 years in a few more days the 19th of Oct I love you always Mike and you two Joe.
What a wonderful interview. And Hawk, what a gentleman to the fans. He put the shoulder pads on him and he didn’t even ask, knowing how delighted he be. RIP HAWK AND ANIMAL
1:21 We are nothing without the fans, 5:07 our business is based on fan reaction. Thank you so much guys, thank you, thank you, thank you. And you're right about everything Hawk, you're right about Stone Crap, Colón, González, McCrap, everything. RIP
One of the best interviews ever. It was so laid back and care free. The Road Warriors treated the 2 interviewers like they were old friends and knew them for years.
I met, talked and took photos with Hawk back in 2001 when I was 13. He was a great guy and I looked up the road warriors for the longest time, unfortunately at the time he was doing solo matches so I didn't get to meet Animal but I remember Hawk like it was yesterday. It was only for about 10 minutes but thats 10 minutes that changed my life completely. R.I.P Hawk.
That's Bad Ass seeing Mike and Joe being with the fans more then Hawk and Animal Caricature. They was the Best to ever do it . And Now they are back together again. 🙏
I went to middle school (Keith Valley Middle School) and played Little League baseball with Animal in my hometown of Horsham Pennsylvania!! RIP Road Warriors!
Signature badasses the 80's were owned by them. What was awesome in knowing was that they were real, Harley-Riding hardchargers off the ring well. The Road Warriors swag can never be duplicated and anyone that grew up watching them knows it. Thanks for posting Danny!
Road Warrior Hawk has the presence to have been a world champion, and the charisma. Just watching him here, he just has so much to him that could over with worldwide audiences.
Hawk was toast by then. He was unreliable, bad in the ring, shit on the stick, and he couldn't pack a high school gym at this point. In fact, if it weren't for Animal, they wouldn't have even gotten a deal with this little shit promotion.
So kick ass! I was a wrestling fan as a kid in the 80's...I got sidetracked a little too soon. I would not even consider myself a die hard wrestling fan but these guys really make ya miss those good ol' day's.
Wow, Ive been used to seeing Animal alone for these past years now, and now I understand why he wont stop talking about Hawk and why he seemed so alone when he preformed without him. Hawk was the heartbeat, the emotion of the road warriors. Without him, Animal is like a ghost just wandering around...
These loving brothers are back together again. It was a lot on Animal’s heart to wander for years without his other half but his heart finally gave out too RIP
Amen to Hawk! By limiting wrestlers to one pathway to the ring, Vince constrained a creative outlet by which personas are created. I remember when the Road Warriors first started. Wrestlers had 4-6 paths to the ring. Watching the Warriors charge out of the dark recesses of an arena and dart under the bottom rope only to run over their opponents was thrilling. Not knowing where to look for them was pivotal to their early success. They were more intimidating than Lord Humongous himself!
If this was filmed in march of 03, this was only a few months before Hawk died in October. That's just sad. He always seemed like the coolest fucking guy in wrestling. RIP big man!
and another response from me would be that i love you hawk! your were my favorite and will always love you.........your awesome even after your gone....RIP HAWK!!!
Got to meet theze guys in 1990 at a Autograph signing at a store called "HILLS" Hawk was LOUD like that then too..Gave a "EWW WHAT A RUSH" and signed me 2 of those WWF Promos I still have!
The greatest tag team bar none and what Mike says about McMahon alot of rasslers dont have the bottle to say...Missed but will never forget Summerslam against Rotunda and diBiase or London Docklands when they messed up the Nasty Boys
Road Warriors not only mastered Tag Team wrestling. They perfected how to handle fans and wrestlers alike. Alas, will we ever se life long teams like this again? Only in a perfect world.
NICE VID!!! Thanks! One of the best interviews ever. Funny as hell. Best "WHAT A RUSH!" of all time at the end. RIP Michael Hegstrand. The Road Warriors aka Legion of Doom are the best most dominant team of all time and forever. PERIOD
Hawk took a couple of shots at Vince!I can understand why he was upset with him.No matter what The Road Warriors were one of the best teams and their intro was dope as hell.It was good though that they were put in the HOF.
They are finally together again. #RIPRoadWarriors
So sad that Hawk is gone. The man seemed like he had a great sense of humor.

R.i.P to both men! Hawk and Animal...what a rush!

This is highkey one of the best interviews ever
greatest tag team of all time.
They couldn't put a dent in Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody
They could put a dent in your mother though
Steiners are my favorite but Road Warriors might be the GOAT tag team
hawk was real uplifting in this interview, awesome guy.
Well he's high as fuck that's usually how people like that are sober their miserable but once they get high no more problems you become happy again
Oh what a rush!!
God bless your soul Hawk

Hawk What a rush! That'll stay in my mind for eternity -3
Hard to believe that Hawk is gone.To many wrestlers, passing away, way to young. Its gotta stop.R.I.P. to one of the great ones.Road Warrior Hawk.
Hawk is the man shooting on Vince and telling the truth about colon.
What he said about the POS that murdered Bruiser Brody R.I.P., I know he meant it 🚿 🔪

man what a feel good interview that was!
Great interview. Nice to see the guys out of character.
They were cool guys glad o hear them outside the ring.
First time I ever saw these guys interviewed, I really like them.
Miss the road warrior
Definition of a mark. Hawk was probably right on about the "pup tent" remark. Hawk definitely carried that interview. Good stuff.
You youngsters cannot imagine how much these guys changed wrestling.
Loved seeing these guys wrestle. You knew a beat down was coming.

Road Warriors not only mastered Tag Team wrestling. They perfected how to handle fans and wrestlers alike. Alas, will we ever se life long teams like this again? Only in a perfect world.
The guy reminds me of Chris Farley..."Remember when you were in the Road Warriors?", that was cool.
