Ha! That would be interesting. Trouble is one has 217bhp and the other is more like 306bhp. In a drag race there'd be no competition if the riders could get them off the line and towards the top of the rev range to use that power.
It's a question of maturity. Once you're a secure man, past the teenage phase trying to impress girls in the Walmart parking lot, you recognize that comfort, style and torque triumph over riding a plastic toy that boosts your shaky confidence.
Extra torque results in extra power; just fictional numbers... but if you have 100Nm at 10000rpm and you increase it to 120Nm at 10000rpm, the power output at 10000rpm also goes up
@@joeridestrijcker445 thanks ! What about in a more extreme cases, for example vehicle A has 30nm torque, and 50hp max output, and vehicle B has 40nm torque, and 40hp max output. Which one will most likely to win?

Drag racers are often purpose-built and are a one-trick pony... in your question you said 'racing', so that could also mean doing laps on a track... a long/fast track or a short/technical track? I appreciate the video guys but you had 1.5 mile of runway but use 400m of it? No terminal speed for each quarter mile? How about a roll-on test to take the skill out of it also while you are there and have a runway to use? Wasted opportunity as always with the bike press. With a Dragy box for 150 quid or even the new but (cheaper than old Vbox) there is absolutely no excuse. I'm sure you have a VBox or similar so why not use it properly? If you have a runway you should use it all and measure 0-400m 0-1000m half mile and standing mile with terminal speeds for all of them as well as top speed. And then also 0 to flat out in 10mph increments. It's really not hard. Just the other day on a 15 R1 I found a dead straight public road and measured 0-170mph in 10mph increments as well as QM, standing KM and half mile. I only ran out of road so couldn't get a 0-180mph time or standing mile but I'll go look for a longer piece of road. I do not have access to runway to test bikes due to my isolated location so I speed test bikes on the public road and publish results online. Seriously up your game as you'll become irrelevant like much of the online press, not just motorcycle. if I can borrow a mates bike or take one from a dealer or use my own and accurately speed test it without a runway why do we need the likes of you (Bennett's Bikes) to do a mediocre job at speed testing? I'll come do it for you.
If we had the entire day then yes we'd have covered all that but this was a thirty minute job at the end of an already productive day (see CarWow's channel and see what happened when the V4R went up against some fast cars)... but thanks for the offer and your courteous insight.
Hey thanks for the reply it is much appreciated. A V4R with a light competent rider will do a standing mile approximately 24 seconds. Your man just had to feed it a few more gears and for another 14 seconds to cover the mile. 30 mins is more than enough :-) lol Then all of your data will be on the VBox or similar which you can access via the provided Windows VBox application software. There you'll have all of your data for all of the metrics I mentioned in my first message. You can then export and publish on YT or to your website. I've seen the car wow vid. It was ok but again no real data and the 'Pro' rider from the roll launched in the wrong gear up against big power cars. 😂

Beautiful beasts and not really made for 1/4 mile runs but 10.4? I would have expected better, is that expecting too much?? Just wondering guys.
Hey please keep drag between v4r vs h2r it may be crazy.
Ha! That would be interesting. Trouble is one has 217bhp and the other is more like 306bhp. In a drag race there'd be no competition if the riders could get them off the line and towards the top of the rev range to use that power.
@@bennettsbikesocial but it may be fun to watch a 2 cylinder powerful bike vs a 4 cylinder powerful bike
@@sakthivelsanjay8299 neither of those have two cylinders. It's a V4 vs an inline 4
It's a question of maturity. Once you're a secure man, past the teenage phase trying to impress girls in the Walmart parking lot, you recognize that comfort, style and torque triumph over riding a plastic toy that boosts your shaky confidence.
I think streetfighter , with its torque advantage will have better in gear roll on acceleration than v4 .
Does extra torque even matter in racing? Come to think of it, wouldnt it be more advantageous in racing to have more hp instead of more torque?
Extra torque results in extra power; just fictional numbers... but if you have 100Nm at 10000rpm and you increase it to 120Nm at 10000rpm, the power output at 10000rpm also goes up
@@joeridestrijcker445 thanks !
What about in a more extreme cases, for example vehicle A has 30nm torque, and 50hp max output, and vehicle B has 40nm torque, and 40hp max output. Which one will most likely to win?
@@iodineclip peak numbers don't tell the entire story... you need to know at which rpm the peaks are reached, but also how 'wide' the powerband is and how the gearing is set; then it also depends on what you'll use it for... purely drag racing or also lapping a track? Drag racers are often purpose-built and are a one-trick pony... in your question you said 'racing', so that could also mean doing laps on a track... a long/fast track or a short/technical track? If you can ride the vehicle almost non-stop at the very top end of the rev-range, then (ceteris paribus) I'd expect the vehicle with the highest peak power to win.
I will choose that V4R over any bike on this planet.
What about ducati superleggera v4
Well I suppose the next test will be on the track and once again we will all be surprised that the naked Streetfighter can’t keep up 😝
th-cam.com/video/RuGiYoQvF2E/w-d-xo.html panigale v4 standar 10,2 265 km/h 0-100 km/h 2,9 seg
1:47 thank me later.
Why race against the R instead of the S 🤷🏻♂️
What’s Michaels lid, is it standard anyone know?
HI, it's an AGV Pista GP-R with a custom paint job by LDC (Liam Crawford Designs) based on the Mike Hailwood style - same as the Dainese Custom Works leathers. Cheers, Michael
Bennetts Bike thanks, love it, may have to copy it sorry!
@@coops6621 Ha! Let me know what you end up with.
Cheers, Michael
Not sure why you would race a streetfighter against a V4R? Surely you would have been better with the Panigale V4s?
The music is way over the top
0.5 s on paper feels like nothing but in real life its 3 cars length
Amazing panigale
im still keeping my streetfighter. Cant compare comfort of riding position and cornering ability. Not to mention i can ride for hours and need a fn wheelchair after.
What everyone wanna see is v4r vs v4s panigale
Ducati Streetfighter V4S vs Panigale V4 Speciale but the V4R has more power and much higher top speed than those two.
How come the fully faired bike weighs 6kg less than the naked bike 🤔🤔🤔🤔😁😁😁
Thats the R model, a better comparison would have been using the S model of each bike.
@@Brockstar10000 I still don't get how a 'fully faired ' bike weighs 6kg less than a naked bike ...??? you didn't really answer my question ...isnt the naked v4 supposed to be the same bike but without the fairing..???
@@dmandhelen Cast vs forged wheels likely responsible for around 2-3kg of that, plus 1100 vs 1000cc so likely heavier block rather than just bored out I'd guess. The fairing is pretty minimal on panigale and the extra weight from that's likely less than a kilo. From experience the supercorsa SPs are light tyres as well so maybe a bit there over the rossa corsas on the streetfigher.
Also might sound silly, but the rear mirrors are probably 1kg on the streetfighter, plus rear seat and stronger rear subframe in case some idiot wants to perch on that rear padded coaster.
Tom Gravgaard thank you for your reply ... aren’t the two engines the same ..cc ... ?? Aren’t the two engines exactly the same ..??? I thought they were ..??? Aren’t Ducati selling this as a “ un faired v4...???👍👍👍😁😁😁
Can’t help thinking you have missed a trick here. Some timing gear and distance measuring kit on the bikes would have been good, plus a few stats of 0-60 0-100 time for 1/4 or 1/2 mile would give a better comparison.
V4S - 299 km/h , 186 mph
V4R - 328 km/h , 203.8 mph
( 340 km/h , 211 mph with 334 HP varient + Akrapovic-Ducati Exhaust System )
For a bike that is twice the price, if it didn't wine there would be a big problem....
“Race Evo” or go home!!!
Exchange rider to see the real score. Sometimes its with the rider
why don't you remove those ridiculously massive yellow billboards you keep on your british bikes for driving on the road.. easily make an extra 5mph without that wind resistance.
I've never seen professional riders start so poorly, letting motorcycles start at low engine speeds. Either of these two make times in the low 9 seconds.
Ducati panigale V4R Top.
Golden delicious 🍏
i think bcoz v4r is R race and the v4s S slow... just saying hahaaha! joke peace!😅
Panigale say🤔 Sorry sister you Lost!
He says they’re both 1000cc ... but aren’t they both 1100’s ... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
If I'm not mistaken, no... the Pani R is 1000cc and all the others (Pani and SF) are 1100
Joeri De Strijcker yes you’re right .. I think it’s for homologation reasons..???:-))..
@@dmandhelen indeed! similarly Aprilia kept their RSV4 RR at 1000cc and bumped the Factory to 1100... so they still have the homologation for superbike racing basis
They should have switched bikes to see if the rider is a factor
Panigale not a toy.
30 mins is more than enough :-) lol
Then all of your data will be on the VBox or similar which you can access via the provided Windows VBox application software.
There you'll have all of your data for all of the metrics I mentioned in my first message.
You can then export and publish on YT or to your website.
I've seen the car wow vid. It was ok but again no real data and the 'Pro' rider from the roll launched in the wrong gear up against big power cars. 😂
One is naked the other a fairing!? It's not rocket science????
