I grew up loving Cher, never missing her weekly show, & later her movies. As I aged, I learned more about what a good & decent person she is, and when I saw this it made me wish there were more people on the planet like her. Successful people don't have to take time to do things like this, but it really sets an example of who we should choose as our role models. A woman ahead of her time, an ageless beauty & talent, life has presented her with some rough patches in the road, but she has stayed true to herself. So many thanks for helping this beautiful creature. Absolutely still loving Cher ❤❤🐘🙏

Dr. Amir Khalil you are a hero of Kaavan. You have this started and Cher have with a wonderful team gives Kaavan a very good live in freedom. I never seen this very great rescue. I hope all the elephants in chain as slave as prisoner come to a place in freedom and a safe place with loving cares and a water pool and a jungle. It is possible. You can do it with Four Paws and Cher and E. S. Margolis there are so many calves who must stay on chain for the new generation slave in industry trees. And tourists industry Circus industry in Asia. The elephant lives 10 million years on earth begin Mamouth I want that all children growing up with the elephant the elephant is for children very important in reading books and the teacher tell the story of Jumbo the elephant.

I need you to do this again. There is an elephant at Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, MA. Her name is Shirley. If you think the conditions were bad for Kaavan, this treatment is truly despicable! Her roommate Emily is torturing Ruth. She pulled on her tail so hard they had to remove a bunch of the tissue. They fixed her up and sent her back to Emily. She did it again, so bad it tore out all her stitches and got a bad infection. They are saying she has foot problems - due to old age.... these elephants are on concrete nonstop with as much or as little as Kaavan. The problem is there’s two of them in a tiny area. No straw, she’s gotten to the point she doesn’t want to go outside! Please help - I’m begging! Look her up on TH-cam and see for yourself what we are doing to these animals in the United States. You wouldn’t have to leave the country! Please! Love Love ❤️

Dr. Khalil is the real hero in this story. He has dedicated his life to saving hundreds of animals from all over the world. His tireless compassion and love for these animals have given them freedom from cruel mistreatment and the opportunity to live as free as possible for the rest of their lives. Cher assisted in the recuse of one elephant. I am grateful that she did, but that doesn't make her a hero.

The constant swaying is a neurotic behavior. The poor creature is bored and lonely. Elephants are EXTREMELY social creatures, perhaps the most social animal on earth. Their herd is everything to them.

Its not devastating anymore, he's going to a great place that Cher helped make happen. So of course she sings from her heart because she's happy and relieved. She's been working for over three years to make this happen and it finally is. So its happy singing.
