  • 🌟 BREAKING NEWS: Bob Estep Found 🌟
    After nearly three years of uncertainty and heartache, the Estep family and his community finally have closure. It is with a mix of relief and profound sadness that we announce the discovery of Robert "Bob" Estep, who had been missing since December 15, 2020.
    🍂 The Discovery: In a remote area off KY 149 near Britton Branch, a hunter came across a tragic scene - a red four-wheeler turned over with what appeared to be a body underneath. This area, not far from Bob's home, was where he was last seen heading for a deer hunting trip. The Clay County Sheriff's Department, along with the coroner and rescue squad, confirmed the heartbreaking news: the remains found were indeed those of Bob Estep.
    🔍 The Search: Our journey in searching for Bob was filled with complexities and uncertainties. We explored every possibility, from foul play to an unfortunate accident. Our dedicated team, alongside the family, tirelessly combed through clues and followed every lead. The support and determination of the community in this extensive search were unwavering.
    📹 Documenting the Search: Our efforts were chronicled in this documentary • PREACHER VANISHED!.. W... , capturing the intense and emotional journey we embarked on. From analyzing camera footage along KY 149 to implementing a strategic 5-mile search strategy, every step was taken to uncover the truth behind Bob's disappearance.
    💔 A Tragic Accident: In the end, it appears that what happened to Bob was nothing more than a tragic accident. While this does not diminish the pain of loss, it brings a certain peace in knowing the truth and dispelling the fears of foul play.
    🙏 A Message to the Estep Family: To Bob's family, we extend our deepest condolences. Your strength and resilience in the face of such adversity have been a beacon of hope. We hope that this discovery, though painful, brings a sense of closure and allows you to cherish the memories of Bob with peace in your hearts.
    🕊️ In Memory of Bob Estep: Bob's love for hunting and his community will always be remembered. As we reflect on his life, let us hold onto the good times and the joy he brought to those around him.
    🤝 Thank You: We want to thank everyone involved in the search - the volunteers, law enforcement, and community members. Your efforts have been invaluable in bringing closure to this long and difficult journey.
    🌹 Rest in Peace, Bob Estep 🌹

    ORIGINAL VIDEO DESCRIPTION
    What really happened to Bob Estep? A loved Preacher within his community has been missing since December 15, 2020. Did Bob leave his home before daylight to go deer hunting on his own, or was Bob Murdered?
    Various cameras along Ky. 149 at Hector identified what appears to be Estep going by their homes around 7 a.m. Cameras further down Ky. 149 were also checked and did not pick up Estep in their area.
    This video documents Adventures With Purpose's search for Bob Estep, using the clues left behind with an emphasis on the AWP's 5-mile search strategy.
    - Where were they last seen?
    - Where did they live?

      Indeed. I'm sure he knew how loved he was by his family, his sons and that lovely lady. I don't know anything about her, but she left impression of kind, caring, patient, loving person, very down to earth and very articulate, although humble. I hope she stood chance to have education she deserved, since I can see her excel in many professions that she might of chose. I'm very sorry they lost their loved one. Wow, three to four thousand people of this amazing community came together to help find a beloved man! Bob’s family & community deserve a big thank you for starting a thorough search themselves & even assisted carrying and hauling the boat! This is the movement at its best! Hope & answers are words I think of when watching! I pray this will encourage someone to come forward with information & that Bob is found. This reminds me of Ralph Brown where it took several searches to find him. But there are so many forested areas, he might be in the woods.
    When I hear discussions of where to go I feel hope. When I see the boat with sonar in the water I see answers.

    Jared and Doug, ponds in this area will grow mass amounts of hydrilla and algae in the spring and summer, and completely clear out during the fall and winter. I've seen columns of that stuff 15feet off the bottom, it's worth checking them 100%. As for random petroleum slicks on the water, lots and lots of creeks and ponds in this area will have a porous sandstone bottom, oil country with sandstone will cause petroleum to leach through.

    • @racecar2933
      @racecar2933 2 ปีที่แล้ว +45

      That's something that is Important to know. I was for sure that they would have found something in the pond that had the oil sheen on the water. Also, not a whole lot of a 4 wheeler is made of steel. My ATV has an aluminum block and wheels, but a steel frame covered in plastic. Only thing I can think of is that the magnet would have only been snagged on it if it were under water. I don't know why the family keeps casting all the accusations on their dad being taken out by foul play, but yet, I don't know anything about the situation. I can't imagine why anyone would want to "off" a preacher. For every action, there's is a reaction. If there is nothing odd or found out of place, then why would the preacher have been involved in foul play?

    • @sethstaley17
      @sethstaley17 2 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      @@racecar2933 That's what I thought as well. Honestly the little pond with the sheen on it could've had the atv in it, like I said, I've seen hydrilla towers 15 foot in height. A Honda foreman sits maybe 4 foot up, there's plenty of room in that little pond.

    I grew up on a farm and in doing so I heard a story of a farmer not far away from there that had been driving a four-wheeler in a flooded paddock and was subsequently unable to see the edge of his dam.
    No one was initially able to find him because the four-wheeler had flipped on top of him.
    In terms of any kind of long-term search I would not expect the standard float rates of a body would necessarily apply if he is in fact like the farmer who perished in the aforementioned circumstances being underneath the four-wheeler.
    Keep in mind too that four-wheelers also don't need nearly as much space as a larger automobile or truck would need to be camouflaged and algae growth on the top of the water can move dependent on bloom growth and any current or disturbance in the water itself. Smaller water bodies like channels and dams need to be considered in this situation as well... When Alzheimers\Dementia or Neurological issues apply to an individual said conditions can lead to cognitive disorder behaviours of getting stuck in corners lost and feeling disorientated in familiar environments or what I feel can be important to consider in missing persons cases is the behavioural aspect of going in circles.. Of course this varies from person to person however as someone who has multiple diagnosed conditions including neurological I know that symptomatically they can present sporadically and at different degrees without notice or any identifiable basis. It is also in my family and I have just watched my most darling dog pass from it as well.
    Blacking out or falling can be a middle ear issue or heart condition - (POTS\Dysautonomia) or Meniere's Disease as examples. POTS is generally classified as a condition where the heart races from positional changes so sitting on a motorbike or four wheeler is less likely to impact him as he would have been seated and heartrate at a resting pace unless there is another prominent stressor involved.
    I pray that he is found and soon.
    My profound prayers and blessings to the search teams the loved ones and family of Bob and of course to Adventures with Purpose who ceaselessly inspire and present to the world what true humanity is about and how incredible things can happen when people with a united vision team up and implement truly honorable efforts to find missing loved ones and clean up our incredible river and water systems. My brother ran off trail into a pond and the ATV floated for an hour before we got it out. He was ok just wet. It floated up side down. I don't have any idea if it would have sank or not. It did float to the center of the pond. This would also depend on tire size and ATV weight. Also fuel economy is based off of that ATV. Depending on engine size and load on it. My Honda Foreman gets around 17 mpg if it isn't working hard. Hill climbing ect.

    The daughter in law mentioned that Bob always called his boys and told them he was going hunting, where he was going, and when he would be back. Whereas he had been having blackouts, memory loss, etc…It actually makes perfect sense that he simply didn’t do what he “always” did, due to these cognitive issues. The family seems very insistent that he didn't have pre-dementia, but those instances of memory problems and confusion are worrisome. Previous cases AWP has solved some individuals with pre-dementia left the house in the middle of the night, at times that don't make sense, while doing things they'd done for much of their lives that wouldn't seem out of the ordinary at any other time. Hunters do get up early, but that's REALLY early. It seems kind of like he was on autopilot or confused. The route he took might not seem to make sense.

      Neurological presentations can be incredibly subtle and they do not necessarily progress quickly in all cases. It depends on the individual and their circumstances as well as nutrition and environmental factors.
      Lapses in short term memory loss and minor confusion is often passed off as 'old age' or 'that's just how this person is" without additional consideration of what those idiosyncrasies might be telling them. It took me personally five and a half years to find a doctor that knew what they were looking at when it came to just one of my neurological conditions which is classified as degenerative (similar to MS and Parkinsons) and also have dementia in my family which has taken a number of my grandmothers siblings and currently starting to affect her as well. I have also just watched my dear dog of nearly 17 years pass from Alzheimers. The signs were incredibly subtle to begin with. I kept saying something was wrong but it took my best friend a number of visits to start agreeing that she could see something was wrong as well.
      On the topic of remedies I came across a video the other day that spoke about pregnenalone being the precursor to all the other hormones as well as the chemical that assists in laying down memory in the brain. The interesting thing mentioned as well in the video was that it said that stress or cortisol depletes pregnenalone. I've been told that I am heading towards Alzheimers\Dementia\Parkinsons in my future (in addition to the current diagnosis collection) so this is a topic I'm incredibly passionate about....
      My heartfelt prayers and blessings to Bob's loved ones and family and anyone else affected by neurological conditions and\or affected by Alzheimers\Dementia..

    There is unfortunately alot of factors that are going into this kind of lost person case. Aside from the usual issues of tracking down, this person was also starting to suffer from altered mental status. Which means a rational line of thinking of why he was doing something is in question. He also suffered from blacking out. Theres so much that could have went wrong even without foul play.

Or got disoriented and died from exposure. He's in the woods somewhere between where he was last spotted on camera and the next camera where he didn't show up. I don't think there's foul play involved here. If it wasn't him on the four wheeler, check the grounds around the house.

    My guess on the pond oil: as vegetation breaks down, it produces oils of various type and degrees. This pond is catching every bit of the surrounding leaves which is stockpiling vegetation decay; this could be why the oil is so visibly present. We have a few forrest surrounded ponds on our place in Tennessee and they all do the same thing.
