I remember seeing on America's most wanted the story of the missing high school girl who dissappeared over 20 years before they were found in a canal. After that there were many other cases of finding long lost people in bodies of water.
It takes a very special person to do what you do! Not everyone can get in that cold water and see what you see and keep going. Never stop what you and your amazing team do. Keep bringing them home Jared!

Lake Ferguson is the lake I grew up on in the 70's. It was like a resort back then. Right where they're standing on the levee use to be the Yacht Club and behind them about 300' down the bank was the Marina. Concerts, Carnivals, Skiing and fishing. We had a large house boat at the Yacht Club. Some of the best memories of my childhood.

I knew that bodies had a bloated floating period, but I didn't know that there was a second instance of that until now, and it fascinates me (in a heartbroken way) how our bodies work after we die. I've never seen a corpse in person outside of a museum exhibit and I hope I never will, but I can only imagine the things you and your team have seen in your efforts to bring people home. Take care of yourselves. You are all angels.

Folks, don't ever dive without training. At the very least, download a chart that tells you when and where to make a safety stop and for how long based on your time at various depths.

I bought them for our vehicles because of you. Thank you! I have 4 kids and we are not the best swimmers on the best occasion much less a stressful situation trapped in a vehicle I pray I never have to utilize it but we have them in case!
I really appreciate all that this man has done to bring peace and closure to so many families. It's a shame that allegations made against a boy in his teen years have now come back to ruin a matured and compassionate man. Whether those allegations are true, he's more than made up and changed his course. We all know that boys AND girls at 16 and 17 made stupid mistakes especially in that regard.
Did you check the very bright one that showed up on the scanner if it was a car or boat. I remember that you tell us the more recent vehicle that goes in would be very bright on the scanner would not have any to very little stuff on it to show close to how long it been in the water yes it different on each water ways . Wish I could afford one of the glass breakers. Was shocked at the price. One glass breaker and shipping cost $75cad. That doesn't include duty at customs either. Obviously worth it, if it saves your life, but as a single mom living paycheck to paycheck...$75 for one is not doable. But love Adventures with Purpose and will keep watching ❤

Wow. I think you just explained something I have been experiencing for 30 years. Not the diving part but the nitrogen exit. I first noticed it after drinking a coke to fast in my genetics class back in college(1993ish). Always happens after drinking a coke to fast. It hurts. Like a burn you get drinking coke in your throat but this happens around my spine where the lungs would be. Pretty uncomfortable. That is crazy. No doctor could ever explain it. Honestly they looked at me crazy. Guess don't drink soda to fast especially coke.
This one I know. If you drink Coke, or any carbonated drink too fast, you don't give time for the carbon dioxide bubbles to come out of the fluid. Usually, you'll experience burps and fizziness, as this happens, and it gives the drink the zing we all love. But, drink it too fast and that CO2 is trapped down in your esophagus where it is much harder for the bubbles to escape. In fact, the process of swallowing makes the passages narrower, thus even harder still. So now you get trapped CO2 trying to break free and continually building up and up. This can be extremely painful and can even trigger a "vaso-vagal response", which is when you pass out and fall to the floor like a rag doll. You soon awaken again, shaking like a leaf, and regain your feet. As I understand it, the vagal nerve is involved, though I don't know the specifics. I only know that it is the same nerve that can cause women to faint. I guess that stress or bubbles can somehow put stress on that nerve (which runs through the neck), which causes it to knock you out. Having done this, I can agree that one should not take big gulps of soda. Take moderate gulps and give yourself time to burp in between.
@@INUN0TAISHO guess it would not shock you to discover I use to faint a lot. I don't think they are connected in this case unless a whole nights sleep would fail at clearing that up. Most of my episodes happen upon waking or physical activity beyond my normal amount. Have had some really bad ones after being given flagyl. Me and that antibiotic do not get along at all. Couldn't keep my blood pressure up at all. A 30 year mystery in my life solved!!!
When you are expecting a car to be a certain color keep in mind that for several years now you can take your car to a professional and have 2 to 3 layers of different colors to a car its like a peel off vynol and is pretty water resistant.
Lots of fish around car i feel so bad for folks that think this is only way chances are few days later they wouldn't have them thoughts i have felt like it literally a few hrs later it's gone once I think of family and kids it passes fast so if anyone is haveing these thoughts please thank of these things and get help if needed no shame in it sorry for your loss and much love to all and keep doing what you do guys that help these poor families get threw

Did he have any local friends he would drink with ? How about close bars ? If they had been arguing then he probably would be thinking I just need a drink or a liquor store to buy some. Wow. I think you just explained something I have been experiencing for 30 years. Not the diving part but the nitrogen exit. I first noticed it after drinking a coke to fast in my genetics class back in college(1993ish). Always happens after drinking a coke to fast. It hurts. Like a burn you get drinking coke in your throat but this happens around my spine where the lungs would be. Pretty uncomfortable. That is crazy. No doctor could ever explain it. Honestly they looked at me crazy. Guess don't drink soda to fast especially coke.
This one I know. If you drink Coke, or any carbonated drink too fast, you don't give time for the carbon dioxide bubbles to come out of the fluid. Usually, you'll experience burps and fizziness, as this happens, and it gives the drink the zing we all love. But, drink it too fast and that CO2 is trapped down in your esophagus where it is much harder for the bubbles to escape. In fact, the process of swallowing makes the passages narrower, thus even harder still. So now you get trapped CO2 trying to break free and continually building up and up. This can be extremely painful and can even trigger a "vaso-vagal response", which is when you pass out and fall to the floor like a rag doll. You soon awaken again, shaking like a leaf, and regain your feet. As I understand it, the vagal nerve is involved, though I don't know the specifics. I only know that it is the same nerve that can cause women to faint. I guess that stress or bubbles can somehow put stress on that nerve (which runs through the neck), which causes it to knock you out. Having done this, I can agree that one should not take big gulps of soda. Take moderate gulps and give yourself time to burp in between.
@@INUN0TAISHO guess it would not shock you to discover I use to faint a lot. I don't think they are connected in this case unless a whole nights sleep would fail at clearing that up. Most of my episodes happen upon waking or physical activity beyond my normal amount. Have had some really bad ones after being given flagyl. Me and that antibiotic do not get along at all. Couldn't keep my blood pressure up at all.

When you are expecting a car to be a certain color keep in mind that for several years now you can take your car to a professional and have 2 to 3 layers of different colors to a car its like a peel off vynol and is pretty water resistant.
Lots of fish around car i feel so bad for folks that think this is only way chances are few days later they wouldn't have them thoughts i have felt like it literally a few hrs later it's gone once I think of family and kids it passes fast so if anyone is haveing these thoughts please thank of these things and get help if needed no shame in it sorry for your loss and much love to all and keep doing what you do guys that help these poor families get threw
