    for anyone watching, i would highly recommend doing the frog leaps on a much softer surface: grass, turf, track, or even hardwood. your body will thank you in a few years.
    the other drills would also benefit from a softer surface, but definitely do those frog leaps on a softer surface than asphalt.

    I have been training like this for a month now, doing these drills twice a week on the off days from regular practice and I can honestly say that while this was very exhausting in the beginning and is very heavy on your knees, it has increased my vertical already. I am confident that I will be able to dunk within the next 1-2 months, if I keep this training up, since I have gotten from being able to touch the backboard after all of these drills to touching the rim, so there is an increase, week by week that you yourself can see for sure.

    @cool_cat007smoove3 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    To improve your dunking is to do simple and effective excerises. Jumping rope and speed cycling (toes are on the pedal at all times), when speed cycling use difference resistance settings to improve strength but keeping up the high speed. Most important is to work on your jumping technique to improve your coordination with your body and feet to dunk the basketball.

  • @kakasvk

    these are good but rep volume is totally wrong and too much. not that you couldn't keep that much reps, but it works out endurance too much which is what you don't want when working on explosiveness speed and vertical jump.
    You want to avoid tiring yourself.
    So do these only until you c an get do them with most height power and max performance, and stop when your jumps get lower and when you're tired so that you can't jump high anymore

  • @2DarkHorizon
    @2DarkHorizon 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Out of all the vertical leap videos on youtube this is the exact opposite of all their advice of volume low and max intensity! Here he trains high volume and low intensity. He trains to complete fatigue and he manages to get an excellent vertical. Jordan Kilganon says over training is a myth because he jumped until he was exhausted and still managed to get an amazing vertical also. Yet research says if you jump too much in a row you train for endurance not explosiveness maybe they are wrong??? Sprinters stop training plyometrics and jumps as soon as they see fatigue. Here he is doing the exact opposite. Someone please explain?

      +XxPs4gaming All dayxx actually your stupid JSKMW2 is right because after going beyond about 12 reps its endurance training . Explosive training should be around 2-6 or 7 reps and push muscles to the max .
