I also love my raid gladiator maximum “ Max Queen”model for strolling for my lighter stuff I’ve found that this rod is perfect for the 3-5 gram range. It’s an inch shorter than my steez and is considered a Light power rod.
I am new to the mid strolling technique and several months ago debated between the Shimano Expride B EXS610MSB and the Megabass Medusa X10. I finally purchased the Medusa and so far have been very impressed. I actually caught a bass on my first cast using the mid strolling technique. It would be great for someone to buy both rods and compare the two. It is a costly endeavor but fisherman need more videos comparing two or more rods or reels to help those that are trying to make decisions. Great job on your video!
I use my Daiwa steez reel control 6’5 ML-SV the kyoya fujita special paired up with a 2500 size Daiwa exist. I am in love with this combo it is like holding a feather but has tremendous power. Thanks for the video Tyler I like when you do reel and rod reviews.
Loomis says they built the G Loomis GLX 891S JWR as their minnow shaker, but I see several folks recommending the 6"10 rods. Is one more focused on casting distance and the short more for shaking? What are your thoughts?

Two rods for a comparison is a great idea! I may have to try to get a Megabass. I love the Expride though.

Heard great things about that one!
Megabass Medusa is another good one for shaking a minnow.
nice, I've heard it's a good one!

easier to shake it is the primary reason. I have the GLX 841S SJR and it's solid for it as well
@@TylerBrinks I have the 841s for neds, guess I can unload the 891S, lol. Do you use the Expride for techniques other than minner shakin?
Can the rod handle a tarpon or bluegill? It seems like it could handle a ghost personally
tarpon yeah, not sure about bluegill.
Any thoughts of the EXS610MHSB medium heavy version of this rod? Looking to get this one to throw bigger sized minnows.
Felt it at ICAST, would be good for the 5-7 inch minnows for sure
Not a cubs hat! 🤣 Going to have to unsubscribe.
Blame it on my dad I didn’t have a choice haha
@ Tell your dad you always knew he was a boystown resident. 😂 You poor guy. Great video though!
