    Ive got high end rods from steez ,nrx, conquest and ultimas.
    Im mentioning that because this expride B series is a fantadtic rod. These rods cast better then the majority of my rods. They are sensitive, light and fun. I have 2 spinning rods and will be purchasing 2 baitcasters this week. Great review as always Bri …

    Side note as for kayak fisherman. It's the the greatest because the handle is quite long for the length of rod. And unless you're standing up it will impede on your chest stomach and armpit while fishing quite a bit. And the hook keeper is placed behind the reel so I suggest you get one of those little Fuji hookkeepers and place it above the reel seat just so it doesn't impede when placing it in rod tubes on your tackle crate. Overall it's a good stick. I choose to Daiwa Lexa(can't get anymore) 7'3 XH just because it does have a shorter butt secton and when I'm on the kayak

    I have the Expride A 73XH and 72H both for frogging. 72H for open water and smaller frogs is fantastic. Yes the 73XH is a great shorter flipping stick. I have more uses for the 72H often because dont have vegetation in my lakes at all. 72H is my favorite swimjig rod. I love them both.

    Thanks for the review Brian appreciate it big. I've had a lot bad experiences with high end rod companies. But I've never tried a Shimano rod and it sounds like this is what I'm looking for. I haven't heard one bad thing about the expride B's everyone loves them . Thanks again and God bless you and your family.

    I have 9 Exprides, 7 B’s and 2 A’s. They have a rod for every technique and like you said good luck finding a better rod for $299 and under. I am not sure it’s possible. The only other 2 rods i have that compete with it are the older USA Destroyer Megabass. Those were $399 and they are maybe a tad better. But now the P5 are $500. Love the Exprides and will get 2-3 more to complete my techniques. Love the channel am subscribed. Keep ‘em coming you are one of my favorites on TH-cam fishing.

    I have the 7'2 Heavy. I broke my A version and did the express service thing and they replaced it with a B for half the MSRP. The cork was a lot better, and I really like the new blank on the B. The carbon handle still seems like more of a gimick, but I did notice the reel seat seemed more sensitive so maybe that's part of it. The 7'2 Heavy makes a good light duty frog, jig and grass texas rig.

    Spot on. Super sick rod, loved it so much I went and picked up the 7’ Light as well. Phenomenal rod as well. Shimano did great on these Expride B’s. I tend to dropshot more on the 7’ Light. I have both the a & b, what’s interesting is the 73xh A model is rated to 3oz vs the b model being rated to 2oz,
    Personally, I think it was just Shimano tightening up the weight rating to be more accurate as they feel like they have the same power. 3oz rating was just too much.
    They weigh just about the same as well. I will also say, I love the exprides but am not sold on the mono handle. It’s nice but the tinging against it is kind of annoying. Great rods and great review for a must have imo!

    I have seen you cover quite a few rod lines with some awesome information. My questions is if you had a choice and feel was a major issue what rod line would you use for bottom contact or sensitive fishing T Rigs Carolina Rigs Jigs etc? What rod line for move baits or treble hooks jerk baits top water etc? What rod line for single hook moving baits chatter baits spinner baits swimming jigs etc?

  • @techtiger38
    @techtiger38 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Well, I was looking for a jig rod to throw heavier jigs 1/2 to 3/4oz. I was eyeing the FMJ because i liked the length 7'3". I bank fish and kayak and don't like the 7'6" rods. For about half the price, the Expride seems like a winner. Paired with a Daiwa Zillion SV TW. Doesn’t get any better.
