Tii eleven How are you getting orange damage numbers on the back legs? They're gray for me even when tenderized. Is it because I use LS and different weapons work differently on different parts?

Hi! that was amazing run! I wonder was the reward level of this hunt? notice that you got bow and IG hunter that can break both wings and the back, lastly 2 CB hunters for the deeps on both hind legs.
They showed it and it was 8. As far as I know you 8 doesnt give you a lot of rewards
How do you apply the upgrade without overwriting the first upgrade? It seems I cant apply the same upgrades unlike yours, You have repeated upgrades. Cool hunt though.! Thanks for the answer hehe

I see that my thoughts were right.
Health regen on a weapon does negate (almost fully) the health drain from the full Safi-armour.

At the end, when you get 2 ultimate in a row. We had that happen to us a few time too. What Is that about? They said it's a DPS check. But I think we were doing enough damage. Unless its cause we did too much damage?
Thats what im thinking too because "we" use 1 bow and 3 cb and every time he use hus ulti 2 times ,so we teleport to the camp after the first 1

The more you prock status the more hit it takes to prock it again, so it's just better to switch to element, also he's super weak to dragon when he "empowers" in the area 3
(quite sure he does it for this reason, sorry for my bad eng)

@@MrEthanol That has to do with hitzone values. They are different on weakend and non weakend and broken monster parts.

Well, it isn't specifically for Savage Axe it just so happens he already had it active.
It's R2 + O > O
you have to have savage axe mode already active
but you can use B/O to go into axe mode after loading phials,
or after slinger burst (from point guard)
Confused why the group focused the back legs. I thought the hitzone value for the back legs was garbage for cutting weapons.
they more than likely did that because as you saw in the vid, the hind legs break a lot faster, which creates chances to get critical hits

The reason they focus hind legs in the beginning is because it's the best way to move Safi laterally onto the decayed ground for two free quick knockdowns.

Safi is a big monster i dont get it why so much people strugle to hit him that has nothing to do with his cb skill my team use 3 cb and 1 of us is a total cb noob he playes cb for the first time on safi because sad play style is not magic..

And have u idea what kind of monster i can do for capacity boost jewel ? 700 hours of game and i get finnaly a focus jewel i never had.. im very unlucky but with iceborne we can get more jewel (because 5 reward) so have u an idea ? And really great run is it possible in duo or solo ? And if duo what my mate can pick ? (I mean what weapon is the best for him he main everything and me only 4) and hope too see if HC ZS will make something good too :)

I only hunt Lv3 tempered monsters and... my best jewels i obtained was in arch tempered xD
(And i have +780h, the hours make the hunter 😠👌)
Regarding the flinch free, maybe because he play in multiplay so theres chance that attack from his teammate may trip him
If u are on ps4 and got iceborne just keep farming threat lvl 3 tempered monsters u will got a ton of them even attack deco lvl 1 (not lvl 4 sadly), i have around 4 attack lvl 1 deco before iceborne and now i got 17 of them lol
I fight a lot of tempered Gold rathian and Silver rathalos because most easy tempered tier 3 but for like magazine its was before a T2 loot but so its same for Iceborne i need to make a T2 for get magazine or thing like water boost 2 (jewel 4) or i focus only on T3 monster ? Because for me the most easiest tempered monster is stygian zinogre so o.O ?

His wing, the red part near the shoulder/back weaken the front leg on the same side of the weak to weaken it as well

I've heard about how poison is better for damage but blast is better for breaking parts... idk logic behind it but I assume it's bc poison doesn't do damage to bodyparts but just takes away health every tick
Blast weapons, just bring poison bombs to proc poisons (if you care about min maxing)

pc player here. what is that axe icon that sometimes appears next to your phials at the top?
Savage axe. New move with iceborne. Makes your axe attacks, and possibly saed (dont quote me on that) hit more, thus doing more damage. Done by canceling aed with L2, Lt, or whatever button you have bound to aim slinger.

What’s the purpose of having magazine decos and artillery decos, and razor sharp if you aren’t even using a bowgun?
Magazine adds one extra phial, artillery increases phial damage and razor sharp halves sharpness loss. Magazine and Artillery are a core part of all charge blade builds.

Icarus Elderseal drains the energy faster, making the fight progress quicker.

Icarus Idk how much the elderseal matters, but if you can spare the decorations, try it and see if it makes a difference.

Unless you play offline, just go to filter search when you search for a session and filter Safi. There’s usually lobbies full of ransoms.

Is there a reason you don’t run crit eye?
Safi full set bonus gives you 40% affinity on top of other OP bonuses but as a trade off you will take damage whenever you attack and can heal it back if you land enough hits without sheathing your weapon, you will take damage regardless whether or not your attacks land. The damage you take counts towards activating latent power which grants 50% affinity at lv 5. Plus the base 15% bonus affinity (no weakness exploit) on tenderized parts and ya got *drum rolls ... 105% affinity. Also the damage from safi armor can be negated with health regen( depends on the weapons but the harder hitting ones have a better time).
The full safi set bonus gives you 40% affinity and it does damage to you which procs latent power which at lvl 5 gives you 50% affinity. The weapon has 5% base affinity and with a mantle on he hits attack lvl 4 which gives 5%, so he has 95% base and 100% with a mantle on. He doesn't need crit eye or weakness exploit.

Not OP, but they combo very well together.
If you pair Safi 3-piece and Teostra 2-piece you can make use of the latent power on the chest/head that was previously a wasted skill slot. It's pretty good.

With my shelling lvl 6 long gunlance part breaker 3 I can break a leg within a minute on a good run. My team just doesn't know to attack those spots for extra damage. I always end up getting agro but I never see parts get broken if I'm not attacking them....

And the second best time I've done is 11'39'46 but that's on the second run with energy drained ect...
These killed savi in 1 single run at 13mins which is impressive actually considering most groups will time out the first run.

@@Hugzz_ That makes a huge difference, i've had a 5min 40sec kill, but obviously not on the first fight. Once the energy levels are depleted, it goes down quickly.
