I miss the old Loomis Schecters but this is definitely one of the cooler Jacksons today including the Davidson Warrior 7. It's always a good time when Jeff plays 7 again.

I bought the Loomis Schecter back in 2016 and it's still easily my fave guitar!
That Jackson headstock looks even more ridiculous as 7-string, but in a good way. Both Jeff's new signatures are really dope.
The headstock is one of the coolest I have ever seen... with the open pore the reflections make it look stunning.

Buying one of these Monday! Loomis has been my favorite guitarists for quite a long time. Awesome to see a signature model with an ebony board. Lookin forward to your demo video!
Got myself a late 2000s RR24 a few weeks ago and am absolutely loving it! Haven't heard too much about the newer models, but this one looks pretty badass, really fits Loomis in a way, I think.

Hey Ola, guess who unboxed a new A1.6 AAN 27 Baritone today...This guy! Just got done setting it up and tuning it to C standard. Couldn’t be happier.
My friend bought this guitar. He loves it but he wished it came with a case.
$1700 and it doesn't come with a case. Shame on Jackson.
And no stainless steel frets

That is one sick guitar. The finish, the body profile, the neck, the headstock, that logo, everything about it. I'm the same with Jacksons, I'm only interested in a couple. Indifferent about the rest.

I dig the headstock. I have always wanted a Jackson since megadeth played them I guess late 80's maybe. Never got one though and I feel like the standard is low these days
Depends on where the guitar was made. MIJ Jacksons are great, as are pre-Fender USA models. Anything else, try before you buy and stay away from the Indonesian (magic isn't there yet) and Chinese made models.
@@Gonboo Indonesian Jacksons (and other guitars) can be good ones only if good luthier will set it up properly. I bought Jackson Kelly which was made in Indonesia and there was a lot to do, but luthier was a kind of magican and i love it.
I got the Jeff loomis Kelly and it had a high fret lol. Nothing but disappointment with new Jackson’s for me even had one of the MJ series dinky that had an issue with the nut. Bought a 1994 professional dinky reverse and it blows all the new stuff I played out of the water.
@@Gonboo I'm sure the Japanese guitars are great. I have always wanted a made in Japan anything. I have saw a couple videos of factories and they seem to have great pride in what they do. I almost bought a Ibanez prestige once
i have an Indonesian RR and it's sweet... i've had much more expensive guitars require much more extensive set up. most problems with set ups on new guitars of all brands are cause by a change in climate from the factory to your house anyway and can easily be dialed in. cort have been making guitars for a long time and what they make for chapman, solar, jackson, ltd, ibanez, schecter etc are mostly great. more-so if you know how to use a hex wrench.

When you do the full video I’d be interested to know if you find any qc issues. The pickup was an interesting thing and caught my attention. I bought a wr7 Dave Davidson sig a couple years back and while generally it’s a great guitar I found a few qc issues that were minor but annoying. Basically a blem guitar sold as new.
Mine has a small imperfection inside the binding. There are two little black spots inside it. It is at the bottom, so it doesn´t bother me as i wont see it. Aside from i would say the conditon is perfect. No loose pickups or smth.

I have a Jackson guitar monarkh pro, worst fret job I’ve ever come across. Needs a complete fret job from the factory. I do like the neck profile though while standing.
