    I like how a seventh kid just randomly appeared 9 minutes into the class and pretended to understand what was happening. That kid is my spirit animal.

    Great use of body language and mimics to encourage kids to answer. Bravo!

    Absolutely excellent PPP on first conditional. Video was 35 mins but I believe the class was about 60 minutes, which is perfect for the Lesson Plan. Thank you so much! The dice game is very useful as were the tactile objects for the kids that needed to do something with their hands. And the teacher was excellent with challenged students!

    Has the teacher ever heard of anything like 'meaningful context'? This teaching session is full of pedagogical errors when analysed from the perspective of modern ways of teaching foreign languages...

    • @serbest4986
      @serbest4986 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For god's sake, it's not the case. To teach or adapt lessons on ''meaningful context'' would not be fun for kids.

    • @seop1721
      @seop1721 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      He elicited their dream. Meaningful context. Modelled his own story, which was the text, highlighted form and function for their age and level, did substitution drills, got them to personalise it in a writing activity, etc etc. All very good.

    • @AlkyCeej
      @AlkyCeej 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Could you please back up your comment? I am interested to hear any criticism so that I can better understand the effectiveness of different teaching techniques, but for all your talk of "meaningful context" you haven't provided any meaningful content!

    • @Gozyization
      @Gozyization 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're a pedagogical error. Let's see your teaching session then.
