Your channel is one of the most cozy and atmospheric places on TH-cam and I absolutely love your passion for books. Your excitement about books makes me love the videos even more. I have read a few books you've recommended on your channel and have enjoyed them a lot. Have a great day.
@@FutureMrsWarwick once she actually started building the cafe. BUT I think this is also the kind of book where you not going to get a lot of page turning angst. You just have to enjoy the characters and the process and going into the cute world. I would read it when I woke up in the middle of the night to help me go back to sleep knowing I wasn’t going to be overexcited or kept awake.
Heads up, I'm a Gothic literature nerd, and let me just say that you're doing just fine waiting until late fall / winter to read Frankenstein. Frankenstein is actually very much a wintertime kind of novel. Lots of snow/alps. 🏔
Lexi, your makeup is always so stunning. I love the way you highlight your cheeks, lol. I've read 75 books this year, and my favorite has been My Dark Vanessa. I actually sat down and wrote kind of a personal essay after that book. It was stunning (the book not my essay). I'd LOVE it if you could do an ice themed video for winter - books set in ice palaces or Frozen vibes - you get it. Thanks for all you do!
My favorite book of the year is a toss up between The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and One Italian Summer. I would love to see more vlogs! Your reading vlogs always put me in a good mood and inspire me to get cozy and read. Next year, I am looking forward to possibly starting my own business, reaching fitness goals, and setting new reading goals.
This year my all time favorite book was Hunted by Darcy Coates, I was ENTHRALLED! Couldn’t put it down at all. I haven’t read a book like that in a long time! Thank you for this magical channel! I’m a new subscriber and i just love your videos and recommendations! 🍁
I do have this one on my shelf for almost a year now and I haven't read it yet since I was always more into her haunted house's books. But good to know, I will try to read it soon-ish. :D

Lexi so true about “ cozy” reading, I find lately your book recommendations help with anxiety and stress related life events ! More cozy calm vibes videos.
My favorite books of the year so far are I’ll Give You The Sun (which I read because of you thank you so much) and The House in The Cerulean Sea 😊 I read both of those in the first half of the year and haven’t read any as good since those
I loved Belladonna so, so much. I think you'll really enjoy some of the reveals if you haven't finished yet! I've never heard of that T. Kingfisher book - definitely intrigued! My current #1 of the year is Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater followed closely by The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec. I am like you, I've already been vaguely thinking about goals for next year and I am so excited for all the plans I want to make for 2023 :D
Oooh I need to get A Wizards Guide to Defensive Baking it sounds great. I really loved Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell so thats in the top spot atm. Im excited for all the youtube plans I have for next year!
Hi Lexi!! You have one of the best, coziest, and warm channels I subscribe too and I absolutely love it! It’s like a dose of serotonin that helps me get through my day especially now with the dark and cold months of late fall/winter. Seasonal depression is very hard on me. But to answer 2 of your questions: 1. My favorite book I’ve read all year was It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover which is her newest book and also the sequel to It Ends With Us. So both of these books hit VERY close to home with me because it was almost like I was looking back on parts of my past being in an abusive relationship, having the courage and strength to say enough and leave, figuring out life on my own again, finding and starting a new job that could provide for me and my pup, then coming across a guy who turned everything around for me and is my version of Atlas ❤ I finished It Starts With Us in about 2 days and could NOT put it down! 2. What am I most excited for next year? My version of Atlas asked me to marry him last year on Christmas Day! We are having our wedding on October 28, 2023 and I cannot wait to marry this man who has shown me how a woman DESERVES to be treated and what a REAL man is! Thank you for everything that you do for this channel and giving us your time to show your bubbly and wonderful self who loves books as much as the rest of us do! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends ❤️
I love your channel. It is such a warm and comfortable place to come hangout. My favorite read of 2022 was - The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. I have not made any real reading plans for 2023 but will begin doing that in the next few weeks.
Book of the year was Circe. Couldn’t put it down and would definitely re read it. Next year I’m excited just to finish my ever expanding TBR. I’m going to try to read them all next year.
Answering your questions: 1. I torn between 'The Song of Achilles' by Madeline Miller and the whole series of 'Heaven Officials Blessing' by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, both are just really really good❤ 2. Since I really love vlogs, I would be happy with any winter vlogs☺ 3. For right now, I really can't think off anything that I would especially waiting in the next year, but I think I have something but can't put my finger on it now😅 Thank you for making videos, Lexi🥰 Your videos are always brings me so much joy~🖤🧡
So far not just 1 favorite but the all souls trilogy. Those 3 I could easily sit down and re-read. Working my way through the ACOTAR stack and I have parts of the books that I would re-read but not whole books. Looking forward to setting up my reading journal for 2023 and goal of reading min of 100 books. Haven't looked too far ahead for books for next year but, I'm slowly rebuilding my library from a loss to fire years ago. Love all of your videos. I sit with a notebook and or my phone to add books to my list whenever I watch. Keep up the good work fellow fox lover. 🦊
You are definitely my favorite person on TH-cam! You’re so cozy and put me in such a positive mood 😊 I wanted to let you know about two books that I thought were soo good I read them both in one sitting!! The first is Delicious by Ruth Reichl. And the second is Paris is Always a Good Idea by Jenn McKinlay. They are both different in my opinion from anything I have read.
I picked up Hotel Magnificent from the library and I always finish those before my son needs a new book. I thought it was a cute quick read keep going it gets crazy! Great ending
I think that this year was my favorite book The Inheritance Games, I haven't read a YA in a long time and this one was really fun for me. I also plan to read Harry Potter for the first time during Christmas. And when it comes to what I am most looking foward to in 2023 it's absolutely me becoming a mother since I am about to give birth to my first child, little baby girl at the end of the March. :) can't wait to finally meet her and hold her. I am about to read tons and tons of books to her.
I almost picked up Legends & Lattes at the bookstore, but I bought something else! I’ll definitely get it soon, though. My fav book of the year is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I’d love for you to do a reading vlog over winter books while doing winter things, like going to a tree farm, getting a holiday Starbucks drink, etc. I’m reading books about ice skating this winter.
Though I enjoyed Hotel Magnifique, I agree that it was hard to vibe with the main character. She reminded me of the main character of Caravel. In both books, they were supposedly wanting to save their sisters and help them, but in both books the main characters seemed self centered and often forget they were supposed to be helping their sisters. But the descriptions in Hotel Magnifique made it such a fun read!
1. Confessions of a Curious Bookseller by Elizabeth Green 2. I'll watch whatever you make. 3. Chain of Thorns by Cassandra Clare. I've taken off work and am ready to read!
I think my favorite book of the year so far is Kingdom of the Feared! As for 2023 excitement, well I'm looking forward to publishing my novel next year!😍
I really hope you finish Belladonna because I was reading it when you did your reading vlog and OMG!!! The last part of the book is just crazy good and there's a HUGE surprise twist!!! AND there's *another* huge twist right at the end that sets up for the sequel!😃
Finlay Donovan Is Killing It really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did. The mystery part of it is what really got got me invested. Five out of five, highly recommend.
I just started reading Pax, I'm super excited to see a video from you on it if at all possible. I haven't read Middle Grade in Years but I couldn't help reading this one!
As of right now, my favorite book of the year is Other People's Clothes. As far as wintery-types of videos I would like to see more cozy reading vlogs :) Next year I'm most excited to start grad school in January!
I want to recommend a super cozy, quick read. I recently read Haven: A Little Cat's Big Adventure and loved it. Perfect for fall into winter season and you could probably read it in a couple of hours.
The Simon Snow trilogy and The Nevermoor series are favorite reads of this year for me! Next year I am looking forward to the release of Silverborn, my 5th wedding anniversary, my husband’s 30th birthday, and my daughter’s 10th birthday!
So far my favorite book of the year is, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo & my second favorite is, The Cousins. I have a lot of books on my TBR for November & December though. I would love to see a video for winter recommendations (cozy, winter rom coms, snowy atmosphere, etc). I have been loving your autumn recommendations & I have been enjoying picking books based on the season. I love your channel so much & appreciate seeing books that are different than the same 10 books you see all over TikTok & Instagram.
Love your videos! You're just too adorable ❤ As for next years goals, I have so many! My reading goal is at least 20 books. Its not much but I'll be planning my wedding (next fall 😍) and getting ready to apply for a radiology program at my local community college. Wish me luck!
Great Video Lexi and I’m really excited for you to finish Belladonna cause that is my favorite book of this year and I love your end of the year book tag Can’t Wait for your next video Happy Reading 📖😊
I think my fav book of the year is going to be My Best Friend’s Exorcism. A close second would be A Head Full Of Ghosts. Both books blew me away. Can’t wait for all you have in store over the winter for this channel and Foxenwood!
It is so good to hear you have been having such a great reading year! My personal favourite of the year so far is Night Theatre by Vikram Paralkar. In this there is a surgeon working at an underfunded clinic, and one night a family of dead people with fatal wounds walk in. He must stitch them up by sunrise or they'll all be dead again. It is beautifully written with such detail and there are discussions on life and death and afterlives and so much more, and I loved it. A book I am really anticipating is Lost in the Moment and Found, the next book in the wayward children series. I adored Where the Drowned Girls Go and the introduction of this character and her world made me really excited to read it.
So fun to share today: My book of the Year: A Court of Mist and Fury- JUST WOW!!! Lexi- how about bookish and cozy gift recommendations for the holidays? And baking of course!!! Also- love the readathons!!! I want to drown in holiday readathons!! Next year... my baby will be getting older and I can read more HAHA!!
my favorite book of the year so far, by far, is Juniper and Thorn by Ava Reid. Impeccable writing, great characters, LGBTQ+ representation, witchcraft, horror, romance - that book is literally flawless.
Ooo I think you’ll really enjoy Frankenstein, spooky season or no! But Ooft! Picking a favorite overall this year is going to be hard and even harder with some heavy hitters still left on my TBR for the year, so far probably Gild, the Night Circus, or a Forgery of Roses. They just hit the right way at the right time 🥰
Lex! I went to Barnes & Noble today to get the box set of tThe Mortal Instruments series. Unfortunately, I have to order through Amazon because I want all hardcover. However, I stopped at the Starbucks and got the Irish cold brew per your recommendation from a Vlogmas episode, and OH MUH GOSH WERE YOU RIGHT!! It is soooo good!! Thank you girl! Please continue to review drinks. We love to see it!
Belladonna is prooooobably my favorite book this year. . I've read ACOTAR, A Court of Mist and Fury, Hazel Bly and the Deep Blue Sea, House in the Cerulean Sea, These Hollow Bonds, These Twisted Bonds, and Belladonna. I haven't read a lot this year trying to get back into reading.. Wintery Videos... Hm.. Maybe just some Cozy Reads! I would love to find a good Christmas Good Feels book but I'm also down for Murder Mysteries! 😂😂 As far as next year.. there's nothing in particular I'm looking forward to. Not that I can think of 😅
I love T Kingfisher books - there are so many good options! She writes middle grade under Ursula Vernon and Castle Hangnail is a perfect bit of whimsy.
Your videos make my day each time thank you!! Also my favorites so far this year are Little Thieves, The Jasmine Throne, The Society for Soulless Girls, Firekeeper's Daughter and finally House of Hollow!! All of them are new all time faves too :)
I literally cheered when you said you were going to be reading "A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking" By T. Kingfisher! I started reading this book right after finishing "Legends and Lattes", and I got some of the same vibes from "Defensive Baking", though it is a very different book. The vibes may have been because both books have a similar "foodie" feel about them 🤣 Mona is such a sweet character, and we get to see her grow under some difficult circumstances (no spoilers -- you'll have to read it to see what I mean.) Plus her "pet" sourdough starter is a hoot! (Well, it's a pet in the same way that a feral cat that always comes to your house for food and love is a pet 🤣) I liked that the book lightly touched on some difficult subjects, such as war and the unfair treatment of marginalized groups. "Defensive Baking" would be a great choice to read with a tween/middle-grader since it could lead to some though-provoking discussions. Awesome read -- you're going to love it ❤
Favourite 2022 book is I Fell in Love With Hope by Lancali. (look up trigger warnings !!) A beautiful book about friendship, love, terminal and mental illnesses. Although it's heavy on the emotional trauma, I can't help but love every single main character and relationship. Got the "found family" and soulmate tropes as well! Worth every cent. Such sweet, innocent romances and friendships. Oh Lexi you'd love it
I would really recommend just reading everything by T. Kingfisher. Everything she does is magic. All her fairytale retellings are fantastic. She always has great female characters, even if the book is dark there is humor and she just makes you feel like your on a journey with your best friend
my absolute fave book I've read this year was verity by colleen hoover and it was also a SHOCK, I did not see that plot twist. For the rest of 2022 I think I'm most excited for Bloodmarkers just because I liked the first one in the series so much.
I'd love a video that is Christmas/ festive books that aren't romance focused? I find when I go searching they are all romances and I fancy some festive fantasy!!!
I have to give my top reads of the year honors to 2 books by an author new to me, Kristin Hannah: The Four Winds & Nightingale. Her writing is beautiful, heartbreaking & enlightening❤️
Your channel is one of the most cozy and atmospheric places on TH-cam and I absolutely love your passion for books. Your excitement about books makes me love the videos even more. I have read a few books you've recommended on your channel and have enjoyed them a lot. Have a great day.
omg thank you so much❤

Awwww thank youuuu❤️❤️❤️
I just loved Legends & Lattes! I feel like that whole genre is new and needs more! What a great niche.
I just picked up this book today.

Kayan Kollyn:
The great fantasy adventure book 😊
My favourite book after Harry Potter ❤❤❤
I'm really excited for Hell Bent to come out next year! I think I'm going to reread Ninth House in preparation over Christmas.
my favorite book of the year so far, by far, is Juniper and Thorn by Ava Reid. Impeccable writing, great characters, LGBTQ+ representation, witchcraft, horror, romance - that book is literally flawless.
I think that Vita Nostra is going to be my fave of the year
Ooo I think you’ll really enjoy Frankenstein, spooky season or no! But Ooft! Picking a favorite overall this year is going to be hard and even harder with some heavy hitters still left on my TBR for the year, so far probably Gild, the Night Circus, or a Forgery of Roses. They just hit the right way at the right time 🥰
I’m so excited for book for of the Nevermoor series to come out in October 2023!
I loved Legenborn!! I can't wait for the sequel to come out and read it!!
As far as next year.. there's nothing in particular I'm looking forward to. Not that I can think of 😅
Belladonna, I feel the same, it got me out of a book slump!
I, too, had wanted to read Frankenstein for spooky season, but didn’t. I loved Nevermoor!🧡
I love your coffee mug.
I literally cheered when you said you were going to be reading "A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking" By T. Kingfisher! I started reading this book right after finishing "Legends and Lattes", and I got some of the same vibes from "Defensive Baking", though it is a very different book. The vibes may have been because both books have a similar "foodie" feel about them 🤣
Mona is such a sweet character, and we get to see her grow under some difficult circumstances (no spoilers -- you'll have to read it to see what I mean.) Plus her "pet" sourdough starter is a hoot! (Well, it's a pet in the same way that a feral cat that always comes to your house for food and love is a pet 🤣)
I liked that the book lightly touched on some difficult subjects, such as war and the unfair treatment of marginalized groups. "Defensive Baking" would be a great choice to read with a tween/middle-grader since it could lead to some though-provoking discussions.
Awesome read -- you're going to love it ❤
Favourite 2022 book is I Fell in Love With Hope by Lancali. (look up trigger warnings !!)
A beautiful book about friendship, love, terminal and mental illnesses. Although it's heavy on the emotional trauma, I can't help but love every single main character and relationship. Got the "found family" and soulmate tropes as well! Worth every cent. Such sweet, innocent romances and friendships. Oh Lexi you'd love it
Looking forward to reading Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo next year 📖📚
Such Sharp Teeth and Daisy Darker are my fave books of the year❤
I love your videos!💕
Just started A Wizards Guide to Defensive Baking yesterday and ordered Nevermoor today.
I need to read Legends and Lattes! I've heard so many people talk about it. T Kingfisher is also an author that I want to check out!
Love your channel where do you find all the cute coffee mugs?
My favorite book this year was Happily Never After by Stephanie Garber!
Nettle & Bone is in my top 10 for the year too!
I would really recommend just reading everything by T. Kingfisher. Everything she does is magic. All her fairytale retellings are fantastic. She always has great female characters, even if the book is dark there is humor and she just makes you feel like your on a journey with your best friend
My favorite book I read this year was Malibu Rising. Soooo good. I liked The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but I LOVED Malibu Rising.
my absolute fave book I've read this year was verity by colleen hoover and it was also a SHOCK, I did not see that plot twist. For the rest of 2022 I think I'm most excited for Bloodmarkers just because I liked the first one in the series so much.
I'd love a video that is Christmas/ festive books that aren't romance focused? I find when I go searching they are all romances and I fancy some festive fantasy!!!
Christmas Library decoration vlog please!!!
I have to give my top reads of the year honors to 2 books by an author new to me, Kristin Hannah: The Four Winds & Nightingale. Her writing is beautiful, heartbreaking & enlightening❤️
