I don’t know if you’ve read this yet but I would highly recommend Garlic and the Vampire, it’s really cute and perfect for fall. The illustrations are beautiful as well
Yes! We used to have Read A Thon days! We would bring blankets, food, and our favorite books to read ALL day. The best was when the Scholastic delivery came the same day! Memories! 🥰
I read Cackle in a day. It gave me Gilmore Girl town vibes. Loved it. My daughter loves the Okay witch. The second one is just as good. 💀 I'm getting creepy vibes from Dracul right now
I'm currently snuggled up in bed with my dog, cross-stitching, and (of course) listening to this vlog. It's so cozy, and I love the aesthetic that you have. Also, if you like historical fiction, The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell is so good!
I’ve been saving this all day. My in-laws brought Covid home, and it’s slowly made it’s way through our multigenerational house. That’s so many people trapped together for so long. Send help lol Thanks for this amazing cozy video. I’m tucked in, hydrated, and resting while enjoying your perfect content
I always love watching your read-a-thon vlogs, they’re my fave!💛 Also those graphic novels look so good, you’ve def inspired me to go pick them up! I loved the cozy vibe of this vlog.✨👻
I loved Cackle! BTW the other day, my friend and I played a drinking game while watching your videos... every time you say, "really really" we would drink haha We got pretty buzzed:) I love this idea by the way. Spooky books for two days, awesome 👻👻👻
You have A Dowry of Blood already in the independently published paperback, I can’t remember if you read it already or not. It’s about one of Dracula’s wives. I know this because I bought the paperback because of YOU!!! 😂😂😂 the hardcover you recently bought is the published version. They redid the front cover. It was a five star for me so I know you’ll enjoy it. If you haven’t read it yet, RUN don’t walk! Lol
I am about to finish Belladonna, probably tomorrow, and yeah, I'm on the hype train. I LOVE IT and especially loved the audiobook - Death is... amazing. Every time you talked about the relationships I was like, squealing and so excited for you to continue haha. I am actually exactly the same in terms of wanting to take my time with it. I've never cared to take my time with a book, but I 100% have with this one. I don't want it to end lol. Can't wait to hear your final thoughts.
You really do have the coziest channel. When I need to watch something to relax or to listen to while falling asleep (please don’t take that the wrong way 😅) I usually pull up asmr or your videos. I have also watched some more than once. I am probably your parents age 😆 but I just love your channel
I have House of Hunger on my TBR, thinking of adding it to my November reads. I really loved hearing your take on it. I have read quite a few WTF Moment books these last two months. I have definitely been rating books 5⭐️. It is making it challenging to choose just one book for the month that was my fav 😅
WHOA OKAY I AM BACK WITH ANOTHER COMMENT (I don't have the patience to watch the full video before contributing my thoughts, clearly). I did not at all catch The Secret Garden parallels but you are so right!! I love The Secret Garden so no wonder I was also a Belladonna fan.
I laughed so hard.... what's the name again of the main girl 😝....i'm sorry lexi but your misery of which book to pick made my day... it was hilarious... loved this vlog... also if you have a library can we please get a tour sometimes?
I love the Okay Witch!! I read it last year, I love the cat and it made me laugh too 😊 another one I love for fall is Sheets by Brenna Thummler and it’s sequel Delicates 😊👻 I love your videos so much 😊
My fave scary non-Stephen King book I read this season (trying to read my way through his stuff), was “The Hacienda” by Isabel Canas. It scared the crap out of me, even more so than anything King has released! Very atmospheric, gave me Jane Eyre and Exorcist vibes. It was. SO. GOOD!!
I finished my spooky book series a few days ago with two amazing witch novels - Slewfoot and In the House in the Dark of the Woods. Highly recommend both!
So late to this but this was so cozy and what I needed! Also I’m literally always in bed by 9 and asleep at like 11, too, reading in bed right before sleeping is so cozy!
I love your spooky vlogs so much, lexi. Theyre so fun! Do you have other symptoms besides feeling that yiu have a cold and does this feeling of feeling sick get worse in nighttime? Im just asking, because thats whst happened to me before I knew i had a chronic illness and that was the cause of it. I really hope it gets better soon. And I know that it can mean a lot of different things, it most likely can just be cause by too much stress or if the weather is getting colder. Take care ☺🎃
I read The Glass Witch for the Foxenwood Readathon because of your recommendation! I knew I had to pick it up as soon as I found out the main character is Adelaide and goes by Addie, exactly like my 10-month-old daughter :)
I love The Okay Witch so much! I'm currently reading My Best Friend's Exorcism and am loving it. Next up for me is The Girl from The Well and possibly a re-read of The Thickety if I have time, which is one of my favorite spooky books (creepy forest, grimoires, a Salem-like fantasty setting). I would also recommend watching AmysCrypt here on TH-cam for spooky ghosty content👻❤
@@alexandraroselyn I hope you enjoyed Belladonna Lexi and hopefully you finished it in this 48 hr readathon vlog cause it’s one of my favorite new books of 2022 😁😁
love this readathon and as for spooky books...have you read catherine house?? It sounds and looks really good and also Anna Dressed in Blood if you have read that 👻
I just finished Belladonna. Pretty good - I'd say 4 out of 5. I currently have A Lesson in Vengeance, Nettle & Bone, They Never Learn and For Your Own Good on my nightstand. I have Cackle and Such Sharp Teeth on hold at my library - really excited about those two!
Thank you for another vlog, absolutely love them! I read all 4 Heartstopper books AND Pumpkin Heads today, both 5/5 stars! Have to give House of Hunger a try ifa I can find it somewhere!
👻I really enjoyed Belladonna. House of Hunger is on my tbr and I'm hoping to start it very soon. I love your videos! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful cozy place to escape to. 💕
Not to add to your TBR. But I'm currently reading a Middle Grade spooky that is just adorable. It's called Ghost Squad by Claribel A Ortega with a gorgeous cover. It's about a girl who lives in Florida and talks to ghosts. There are evil spirits that have come to town, so with help from her best friend, her best friend's witch grandmother, and a fat cat named Chunk. They have to battle the evil spirits and save the town by Halloween. It's roughly 237 pages and has been a quick fun read.
From what I've seen others made the belladonna secret garden connection. When looking at interviews with the author she said it was the book that she "wrote for herself" in a sense. So maybe it's a play on one of her favorite stories as a kid?
Fantastic and amazing video love it and love you and your amazing channel please stay safe and enjoy your reading love your family friend John prayers and thoughts for you and your family ❤❤❤
👻 it’s not spooky but Keepers of Enchanted Rooms is my current read and I’m living for it! If you like enchanted houses, slow burn romance, Mary Poppins vibes, and magic I think you’ll love this ☺️
I want to recommend screaming from rooftops middle grade book that came out few months ago Valentina Salazar is not a Monster Hunter, it is so so good and I love the cover. Also A.G. Howard's new one for Halloween Shades of Rust and Ruin, and that gets a billion stars. Check them out Happy Reading!!!
Have you read Garlic and the Witch or Garlic and the Vampire? I finished them few days ago. So so cute and cozy. It gave me fall vibes.. Although it's not really happening in fall I think... Maybe... 😅
👻 I was the same with Belladonna took me a bit to get into it but once I got into it I couldn’t but it down. I really want to read House of Hunger as well. I just finished Dowry of Blood and I loved it may be a new favorite
I also tried Belladonna but DNFed for the exact reason you just described about the tropey YA romance... I wanted the ghosts, death as a character, and gothic vibes, but the dynamic between Signa and Sylas put me off.🙁
I want to read cackle and I can tell you nettle and bone is amazing!!!! And I read it in a day and the audiobook was amazing! 🎉 oh and I liked belladonna. It is repetitive but I liked it. Listened to the audiobook at 2x speed tho bc it is crazy slow.

I enjoyed Crackle, it just fun read, not deep like most my horror/ thriller reads but just a short good read.
👻 The All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Not scary and yes Twilight for grown ups but it’s awesome.
@@Riawyn wooo def have to check that series out. TY for sharing
Levi, your reviews bring your reads to life and your vlogs are always so cozy! Thank you for the escape. Always enjoyable!
