- How much gold did we find?!!! Today Bryan Wilder and Gary Simpson get a bad weather day off of dredging on the Bering Sea Golds Dredge "The Gold Ship" owned by Vernon Adkison, to go on an adventure to find lost gold in Nome, Alaska's huge mega bucket line dredge #6.

Dam that’s crazy. How awesome is that. Finding gold that they left. They didn’t do a good job cleaning the dredge before they left and you found it. That’s awesome. I hope there is a video of you guys running the rest of the material from you cleaning the dredge up. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

W-O-W, how many times have I dreamed about doing that very same thing on so many of the dredges. 2 of my friends came up there cause the guy was born in AK so they rode motorcycles up & made a big trip of it from southwest Arkansas. Huge trip but they saw dredges & I thought they maybe toured one but not sure about that. Are any open to the public as historic sites??? I enjoy your videos & watching you & Gary Simpson work together. I know every one has bills but I hope ya'll get to put some gold back. Now I gotta look through all your videos & see if I can find a follow up to this. Lol. Another great video, it's like a good book, you can't stop till you know what happens. Good luck with all your work, it's the thrill of the chase but that yeller gold shor' is a pretty site.

Walked hundreds of miles in them dredger tailings in Northern California hunting ducks and fishing ponds when we was kids. Always looking for that big chunker that went out the back end. Lol got a deal now to move some bucket dredge tailings down in South Dakota and screen the material underneath. Can't wait to get started soon.

Most will leave around Oct 1. Not much gold on the beach this year. We need a big storm to replenish it!

It would be a dream to clean up a dredge that was left alone. Gotta be a couple ounces in the cracks. The old miners were concerned with volume so the nooks and crannies probably didn't even cross their minds.

Other videos about the trommel dredges have said the fine gold and small nuggets were 100 times the bigger nuggets, so, they were only concerned with capturing the fine gold and small nuggets that would fit through the screens.

I've been in that exact same trommel 25years ago, didn't find much Then either... Shop vac like a little handheld battery operation might work... We went to and on all the dreges but didn't know if it was legal or not??? There's no place like Nome .

hey Brian, my name is Ron and I live on a first nations territory. I want to know if you and your team do any Hard Rock Prospecting? Never Thought of getting somebody to do the prospecting the old fashion way. There is an old gold mine and refining operation back here. They used mercury in the process now they are cleaning up the tailings.

anyone in nome alaska? so i am do or die now. 52 years old. and been watching gold shows like jeff williams and most others for many years. i just want to try this. price to fly here now is 355 dollars and I may just do it. I'm partially disabled I can walk just not jog or run. i would be bear food. 4 shore. but still, I want to try before I die. its the experience, not the money. now i am on disability and need money but i have to try or die. do or die. any help or any info? anything? i want to go to nome far west. for a month maybe 2 months
