I've always wondered how much gold you could find by looking through old gold processing equipment! The methods weren't as efficient back then; it looks like they went for brute force (sheer volume) as opposed to trying to get every bit of gold they could.
Instead of a grinder I would take a cheap hole saw just leave the drill bit out of the middle and cut around the bolts through the mats probably be faster
a hole saw in a cordless drill will make short work of those bolts in the rubber mat it would be awsum so be able to see that sort of history right in your back yard

They tape over the logo on the front of the jacket so it won't be on TV, and the very next scene he turns around and you can see the logo on the back. Honestly, I knew it was a North Face jacket even without the logo.
I would bet that some of those old sluices were taken out and repurpsced for runs on portable sluices. I'm just in the video so I haven't seen what you got but it sure looks good.
When I was a boy up in Alaska. Mu dad panned a bit. But he said panning around the dredges that where all over the place back in the late 60s and early 70s. Was a waste of time. Because the dredges did not miss anything. Was he ever wrong. one guy was poking around next to where a dredge went over some bedrock. He found a 5 oz nugget. That the dredge hopped over.
Can you just go crawl around them dredges? I’m not saying ya can’t that’s just cool if you can. Need to come back to nome in the summer and check one out.
Order up some classifiers and screen that super fine down to 100 mesh , much easier to extract ... I lost alotta gold in highbankers before I figured out how much I was losing I was losing more gold smaller than 50 mesh than I was catching above that (by weight) For every ounce of course gold I caught , I was losing 2-3 ounces of super fine ... the big bucket lines were bigtime losers of super fine gold , even when they were running copper plates coated with mercury , they were running too high a volume of water thru the boxes and losing everything under 50-100 mesh
There is alot of super fine gold here where I am , I can collect down to 250-300 mesh but that small is tough without resulting to cyanide leaching for extraction
I got an idea for processing all the sand you want were talking hundreds of yards per day or hours, not sure, untested Investors needed, I don't have access to pay dirt, or I would be cleaning up, this will change the way of prospecting. have Shawn hit me up I can trust him, and you two guys will be the first to hear about it.
