Until last week I’d never given a second thought to owning a Mercedes’ . I had made up my mind to purchase an Audi Q3 to replace a 2012 Audi Avant that’s been having mechanical issues. Upon talking to a service rep where the Audi was being repaired he suggested I check out a Mercedes suv, he mentioned it was superior over the Q3. Two days later we brought a white 2022 GLC 300 4 Matic with the AMG package. Wow what a value! I took delivery on a 2022 Audi TTS about a month ago. The Audi cost thousands more than the Benz, with a lot less tech. But the Audi is a lot faster and handles better.😀
This is a pretty appealing vehicle. I have been building them online and I think this is the best color combination. I've tried a bunch of different Interiors with a bunch of different paint colors but this seems to be beautiful and harmonious and even sporty

Great Review that GLC is very nice, but its not a moon roof, here in the UK its opened during the day to allow sunlight in, not used at night to allow moonlight in.
Congrats on 90K subs! I have a 17 GLC, and I'm glad to see they have addressed one of my biggest disappointments with the new UX infotainment system. The MB Command system is very dated and awkward to use, and the "ME app" is practically useless. It actually works only about 20% of the time, which is very frustrating on a cold winter's day when the remote start won't connect. My only other gripe is that the ride is overly firm with the factory run flat tires in that you feel every crack in the road. I recently switched out the tires to conventional Michelins, and it's made a tremendous difference. Otherwise, it's a great compact luxury SUV, with a refined yet responsive driving experience. This refresh looks like a move in the right direction...maybe time for a trade.

the lexus track pad is shit. the one in the MB isn't. it's not just the track pad, it's the software it's attached to. the lexus screen looks great, it's the software that runs in it that is terrible. this isn't hard to figure out
Hi there! What Greg said is pretty much right. The software layout on MBUX means that I pretty much just swipe left to right on the pad to cover everything, whereas on Lexus Enform, you have to bounce all over the screen. Also, people wouldn't be as critical of Enform if Lexus included other ways to control it, like Mercedes is doing here
Beautiful SUV. In the October Issue of Consumer Reports, the GLC is rated poor in both reliability and owner satisfaction. Anybody know what the issues are?
I have a 2017 with just over 30k miles, and have been very satisfied. Some of the early models had issues with squeaky brakes, and road noise. These appear to have been addressed by the time mine was built. The only reliability issue I have had is with the cooling fan that would randomly race loudly. The dealer was able to diagnose quickly and replace the fan under warranty. Other than that it has been trouble free. I do find it an enjoyable vehicle to drive, other than an overly firm ride, which has improved following the replacement of the factory run flat tires.
Hey @CarConfections, you might want to update this video, the digital speedometer gauges are not standard with the multimedia package. It's another $750 to add onto the car. The multimedia is another $1250. Other than that overall great review.
I agree until the previous year, but looking at this video it seems the actual screens are the same as in the A class/GLA/B class/GLB, only they have chosen to add the plastic cluster around the left screen and to put it further back, instead of the large slab with the two screens.
Love the exterior, but then you showed the interior and i was bored because its the same stupid ipad stuck to the dash that makes it look cheap. Why cant they update it with the same centre console design as the E class? Even the new A class has the E class interior, the C class has the same as this GLC. Sort it out Mercedes!
Beautiful design, outside and in, ruined by that the continued afterthought of a touchscreen. They've been getting the feedback for years now- get rid of that shitty, aftermarket looking touchscreen and integrate something that looks like it belongs. Why have low end car manufacturers already gotten past this point and it continues to be a problem for Mercedes- it's absurd. They JUST started to fix it starting in the CLA45 AMG 2020, but pretty much everything else still has this problem.

It’s just really sad that Mercedes has already announced they will be updating the the GLC this year. So many people are going to be upset after realizing they could’ve had a much nicer interior for basically the same price.
Andy's Shop i have never had any problem with mine ever since buying it 5 years ago at 22,000 miles. Have driven 55000 miles since without a problem in hilly SF.
Andy's Shop - My 2007 E-350 is running strong at 172,000 miles. This is my second Benz & I wouldn’t own anything else. Not only are they reliable, but extremely safe!
miric121 well if you’re thinking about those two definitely lease. They’re not extremely reliable cars. Personally we drove both GLC 300 and Q5. The Q5 proved to be much better to drive. The Audi dealers also gave a much better deal than the Mercedes. I would go for the Q5 it’s better to drive with more standard features and you can get a better deal!

In USA you have the 2016 model for configuration: All you have in extras is called Premium Plus in Europe

Standard GLC looks much better than AMG style to me. I don't like artificial AMG sound either. I'm classic guy.

Definitely the M40i but it's not exactly apples to apples since this was the more luxury oriented GLC 300
How does the ride of this GLC compare to the new Acura RDX? I am just talking about the engine and ride quality. RDX has more horsepower.
