Thanks Frank. I used to use the BCW sleeves. The clarity of them is great. I found them to be way too easy to split the seams, especially when inserting a gatefold album. Vinyl Storage Solutions sleeves are the very best, in my experience. They’re Just as clear, fit the record sleeves better and are far more durable. They take awhile to ship orders but they’re worth the wait

My Canadian friend Mike at VSS has spoiled me rotten. I have been collecting vinyl for 5 decades. His products although pricer than others remain the best on the market. When you have a large collection that is going to be passed down. You can't cut corners when it comes to protecting your investment. Quality over quantity every time it's a no brainer when it comes to vinyl collecting and vinyl storage.

Ever since I tried the VSS dual pocket sleeves, I can’t go back, they’re the best and I love using two for gatefolds to allow it to open. And I prefer Mofi inners, mainly because I can get them locally pretty easy.

In my early purchase of albums what I liked were the paper inner sleeves that came with prints of other album outer covers that were of records available by that label. May not be the best for vinyl but cool to look back on now at what was out there in the 60s & 70s. Motown and Atlantic were big on those inner sleeves.

Ill be a Vinyl Storage Solutions until he sells to mofi :P. I'm hooked on the dual pocket sealable and the 3 mill inners. I typically only read the inserts right after I clean the album and while I'm giving it a 1st listen, so having it sealed is great for me. I really love how the covers "POP" in his outers, looks great on my now playing perch.

I find them to be awesome sleeves, and I have many variations of their line of products. I have some for 12, 10 and 7" vinyl, and I couldn't be happier with them. I also have a bunch of BCW 7" inners and outers as well, which are very good too. Have fun trying out all the new sleeves.

While I'm no longer a regular comic book reader, BCW's plastic bins, both short and long, are a fantastic storage option. As you mentioned in an earlier video, they've been into such collectibles for years so it's good seeing them expand. That being said, they've a lot of catching up to do with vinyl record storage, although the more, high quality competition in the market for such, the better for us.
Thanks for turning me onto VSS sleeves earlier. I really like the recent single pocket sleeve that Mike made.

My outers are polypropylene and polyethylene, I buy them 10 at a time from a local record shop, not sure of the brand. My inner sleeves are Hudson Hifi anti-static with acid free rice paper inserts. Many reviewers compared them favourably to the Mofi sleeves, so I thought I would give them a try. They were $30 (CAD) tax in for 100 sleeves delivered. Great value for the money, and so far I like them.

    Aloha Frank,
I myself used BCW 4MIL Outta sleeves, I get mine through Amazon, I just ordered 3 packs a few weeks ago, but only received 1 pack of (100) 4 mil sleeves, 3 days later Amazon sends me a notice saying my package was undeliverable & they will send me a refund. The reason I ordered 3 package was because I got a great price on them. Now their back up to $ 33.00 U.S. from $22.49 .
I also buy Hudson hifi Inner sleeves ,I buy them in packs of 500 comes to about 16.00 for a pack of 100. Way cheaper than the mofi brand.

I use the “regular”/“basic” polyethylene outer sleeves and the anti-static inners. I get the ones that are styled like the mofi ones with the rice paper in one side. I’m not loyal to a particular brand-they’ve all worked well for me.
I don’t like the resealable outer sleeves or ones with a flap, the seal sticks to everything and the flap just impedes my ability to get to my record.
But these folks seem to have some other items I may be interested in. Thanks for the review!!

I buy both inner and outer sleeves from The In Groove Records. I think they have them custom manufactured as the packaging doesn't have any branding. I like their inner sleeves a lot because they're semi-clear and you can see the information on the back of the record sleeve when you have the record out.

Thats quite the selection. Those 7" black ones look awesome as hell. I'm scared to look up the price of 1000. Which i know will replace all of mine and have plenty left for anything new i find. But, damn! Those look sweet looking. Divivders for them are cool. Speaking of storage. I got 2 banker boxes to put all my dvds in. But in just fooling around with what would fit. I just happened to come across the fact that 2 rows fit side by side, with enough room in the handles that wont be in the way when you move them around. Also happened to have a lot of extra cardboard around and cut my own dividers and finally after decades. I finally have an alphabetically sorted boxes. Cant believe A to C took up a box. Guessing you could probably get about 240-250 stuffed into it. Ended up getting 4 boxes. That way its easier to sort out with spacing to flip through them. I hate it when its packed. Unless its showing spine only sides.
I rarely see the crystal clear sleeves, so i use those kinda foggy looking ones. And paper poly sleeves. Usually taken from a Deutsche Grammophone alhum.

Talk about album jackets not being of the same size... David Bowie fans can tell you that some of his albums (four that I know of) come in tri fold jackets that are too wide to put the sleeves on so that they open from the top. You have to put them on horizontally which brings up the old problem of sleeves coming off when you slide them into your storage shelves.

Yeah, you can't force 180 gram double LPs into polypropylene sleeves or they will split. It is about the process and material. I suggest the 3 mil polyethylene sleeves instead. These are made with a different process and have more stretch to them. Also, keep in mind, everyone sleeves their records differently. Some people use it with the top open, others want the opening on the side.

Our polyethylene are 3 Mil and don't split because it is a different manufacturing process. We do offer 4 Mil of the polypropylene but splitting does occur with too much pressure on the seams. We are looking on how to improve these so stay tuned.

@Jeremy Bonfiglio never have a problem with 3 mil sleeves, only 2 mil split easily.

I think I have about 2 years' supply of VSS (stocked up during the Black Friday sale, haha). That said, it's always fun checking out other stuff. And it's nice to see BCW ramping up their game.
