I use only VSS inner and out sleev products for my collection. Great archival quality for my collection.

I use Japanese innersleeve and put then in the papersleeve. Works perfect for me. You have the same effect as the sleeves shown here.

The Mofi Inners are so easy to scratch... if you drop a pen on it, for example, I'd worry about denting the vinyl. I much prefer the hybrid paper-poly inner sleeves. Maybe they don't look as slick and sexy, but they provide maximum protection in my opinion. Maybe the thicker MoFi sleeves are the overall best, but the hybrids might be the best protection for a decent price.

I purchased the rice paper, inner sleeve from vinyl solutions, and I also bought the double pocket jackets for the outer sleeves. I’ll say right now it’s an absolute game changer. Love running into videos like these you’re honest and truthful about all products. Hope to see more. Thank you again.

VSS makes great products, but overpriced is an understatement. It’s out of control in a lot of cases. The Hudson Hifi sleeves are the way to go. Thicker than mofi and the invest in vinyl sleeves. Would guess 2mm minimum. When I can get 100 for $25 in the states it’s a no brainer. VSS charging like $12 for 25 is just nuts to me.

Thanks for the recommendation! I was looking to MoFi but the costs are just too high, so these are a fair bit cheaper. For anyone in the UK, Mintsleeves is the UK agent for the sleeves.

My record store here in Cambridge (The Beat Goes On) sells the MoFi inner sleeves in 50-pc and 100-pc packages.

I just picked up a bunch of inner sleeves like the ones you are raving about for $3.00 a bag and it contains 25 sleeves

Japanese style, round-bottom poly inner sleeves FTW.. They're the only kind I use anymore. I like them because they don't bunch up on the corners, making it very difficult to put back into the jacket, like square MoFi sleeves, etc.
I'd really like to try those MA Recordings Innersleeves, but they're expensive.

I've ordered from VSS a couple of times now and love their stuff. I'm in Canada as well and it's certainly the best option for us. I have only purchased their inner sleeves but really hoping they develop a single pocket resealable clear outer sleeve. That one seems to be missing from their current product line.

The Mofi sleeves paper is actually rice paper which prevents static as well.

Also being from Canada, I started using them after finding it difficult finding the Mofi ones. I bough the 3mil. I also use his 4mil outer sleeves with dual pocket. Great products!!
For those of us who can’t afford a Degritter, as much as I’d like one, can you suggest other effective ways of cleaning records? I currently use the Groovewasher solution and wonderful walnut handle brush by them. Are you familiar with this product?

I'm not, but I started with a Spinclean, and it's excellent and relatively cheap. I then moved to an Okki (which I have kept for filthy records) and then the Ultrasonic model. Either way, there are many options to consider, just don't get fooled by snakeoil versions that promise the world!

Thanks for the video. Two questions: 1) are the VSS inner sleeves shorter than the mofi sleeves? Seems like the record is closer to the opening. 2) what are the super fancy inner sleeves you mentioned?

Hi it’s Graham from the U.K. love the video and advice. I’ve started using either spin care inner sleeves or MoFi However….Some records come new in good quality card sleeves with a smooth inner. Metallica and Iron maiden 180g discs. I’ve kept the records in them for a number of years and they seem fine. I’m unsure on whether to put them into the MoFi or Spincare inner sleeves. What would you advice?

You could do this without the Cheesy Sham Wow Demonstration.
