Thankyou! I substituted the pasta water for white wine and the oil for more butter, and stirred through fresh parmesan at the end. Also added a sprinkle of chicken stock instead of salt and added fresh basil. So not really the same recipe at all but I got the inspiration from here!
@@CraigCustance-s5u Says who, 'user with no name'? There's many recipes for parmesan and PRAWNS. . As well as parmesan and FISH. Which of the two do you speak of? Fish are vertebrates and prawns are crustaceans. BOTH goes well with parmesan. What exactly is your objection?
sorry if I intrude, I think the user is referring to the way we make it here in Italy, where no one of us puts parmesan cheese together with prawns or fish. Then obviously everyone is free to do as they like.
It takes about 8-10 minutes according to the types of pasta brand you use. Please check the pasta packaging before cooking. Make a taste test of one pasta strand and check whether it is done to your liking.
Why, oh why, do some chefs insist on leaving the hard tail shell on prawns?! Doing so is a nuisance to diners. This often gets a mention by food reviewers, but the practice continues....
@@Pandaeyedninja - No. That bit of tail shell won't add any worthwhile flavour. (Yes, cooking whole whole prawns in their complete shells does due to all the juices in the head, etc.) I suspect that the real reason, is that they think it gives it a better appearance.

Sounds great! I love adding chicken stock in some of my pasta recipes. Thanks for sharing your feedback and recipe. 😊
Please no Parmesan with fish…

@@joeblo1 They are probably Sicillian, they don't put cheese on seafood

Thank you so much Darren 😊
I made this today. It was delicious! Thank you.
Glad you liked it!!
Can you use ready cooked prawns in this dish?
i'd add some white wine too , and maybe even some chopped onion or shallot. Last be more generous with the parsley.
PERFECT ..........!!!!! Exactly how I do it ......l
Thank you. 🙏 We love this recipe!
How long do I leave the pasta in boiling water and how do I know it’s ready

It doesn't require many ingredients cheap and luxurious at the same time.
I hope you enjoy it. Thank you so much for watching Rayyan.
@@KhinsKitchen you are welcome its a pleasure I will definitely enjoy it 🙂.
I would add cream fraiche 😋😋😋
Prawns and pasta at the ready. Hopefully, a novice like me can't mess it up 😂

It’s because leaving the shell on adds extra flavour 😭

Yes agree on that
@@Rob-xz6uv ahh I see, that makes sense! I do agree that it’s inconvenient to have the shell on when being served
Yes it gives a better, fresher appearance and honestly it doesn’t take much of an effort to remove the tail.
I noticed you didn't devein the prawns. Is it okay to eat them with the shite pipes still in?
Obviously not.
Devain your Prawns. Common sense.
You don’t need to devein but if you’re cooking for other people, they will likely prefer if you take it out
Frozen ones come deveined
No need to add oil ?
Butter is added right, I guess?
Yes, I used butter. You can also use olive oil or a choice of cooking oil.
Looks dry, is it dry?
Nice and simple but fabulous ❤❤😅😅😊😊😊
Chef 👩🍳 Spaghetti🍝
She's cooking it but she's not exactly telling you what the recipe is is she
aglio olio pasta with shrimp
Hope you try out this recipe.
Too spicy
Don’t add so much spice if you can’t tolerate it😊
Actually its idiot proof food 😂 love you all
Why do people leave the tails on
I would never trust a chef that leaves in the poop chute
OMG..
Please learn before teach
If u see a cook using butter, unsubscribe immediately and save your heart ;)
Just made something similar - always a win in my household 🍝🍤🌶️🧄
It’s so quick and easy for me to prepare. My whole family likes it too.
