    Perfect place to mount those lights especially the very front one you're able to do loader work much easier at night wait I don't see the carrot dangling at the front of the canopy

    Well done! I really like your reference to "before canopy". But that could have been 2018 B.C. (before Covid) ! Lol! That is really important to get good lighting to work at night. I update lights on each of my equipement. Thanks!

    Came out great!
    One thing to consider. When using high mounted lights when its snowing. the light reflecting off the flakes can make it hard to see. If i recollect , not much of a problem for you , but those of us in the frozen part of the country ...
    Any Hoo, Merry Christmas! and keep up the good work!

      Thanks, Bubba! Yeah, having to drive my tractor in snow at night is not much of a concern here in Georgia. Merry Christmas to you too!

    Well thought out and clean install as always. I've been considering mounting lights to my homemade canopy quite a bit lately now that it's dark both before and after work. The headlights just aren't sufficient when using the loader in the dark. Thanks for the tips!

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Yeah for loader work at night you have to have ROPS or canopy mounted lights to see. Thanks for watching!

    I am always concerned about branches ripping lights off

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I limb up any trees where my tractor goes so I don’t have to worry about it and I carry my chainsaw and some long-reach loppers on the tractor in case I come across a low branch. Thanks for watching!

    Very nice video Martin.
    What are the dimensions of the project box you used to mount the two switches in?
    I have the Kubota L2501, so i could make use of the same location to mount my switches.
    Thanks for doing the leg work for all of us!

    • @DIYMyWay

      It’s 5”Lx2.5”Wx2”H. Thanks for watching!

    Nicely done. Do you get much vibration on the front light? The canopy material looks a bit thin to me. Great video. Thanks.

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Marty! Just a little vibration when the tractor is idling but not at operating speed.
