Those scans are amazing, especially the correction logic that eventually fixes all the little defects and produces an almost perfect 3D representation of a physical object! I hope this kind of device comes down in price eventually.
The cutting plane is very useful while scanning, first scan, then make cutting plane, the second scan etc will disregard any object below the plane. Also, don't go by the recommendations only, it will run on less potent pc.
If you where to choose between the 3DMAKERPRO MOLE 3D or the EINSTAR Shinning for personal projects, medium size objects, and some larger scans such a car bumper or a chair/seat; which one would you go with?
Thats my plan for next few weeks. Another idea, if somebody has a blind friend or family member, this could be a fantastic gift for them, because they cant see a pictures of their kids or similar.
Hello, Thanks for sharing. I have one question regarding converting the scan to 3D in software such as solidworks. After scan, How can i determine the measure and dimensions of the scan? is there any place on shining app where i can see dimensions of the scan?
Probably Einstar, but I am waiting one more handheld 3D scanner (Lynx) and then doing comparison 5 scanners in one video (Xbox Kinect, Einstar, Cr-scan 01, Range, Lynx)
I have borrowed the Pop2 from Revopoint and IMHO scanning is very frustrating! Its not what you see in the videos, moving the scanner around by hand is almost impossible to get good scans. It`s often loosing the PointCloud, stitching isnt perfect. etc. So I`m very impressed it seems Einstar is working very well!
Finally I bought (after watching the video) an Einstar. I have a Revopoint mini, a revopoint pop 2 and now the einstar. My opinion after trying all three, is that the Einstar software is much superior, despite the fact that the revopoint software has improved, the pop 2 works very well for me but using it in a statue with the turntable, scanning by hand freehand me It has been very complicated, it is much easier with the einstar.
@@MyTechFun From where can you get it under 1k? EU prices with shipping and taxes are closer to 1.3k. They are shipping the scanners from China? And your coupon code only works for orders in $, not applicable inside EU.

i think this might be the first 3d scanner that actually does what it says.
The biggest strength is its software
Wow. That is an impressive bit of kit. Great review.
Great and practical scanning
Looking promising as a tool
Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us 🙂

Awesome! Can you please scan human body parts little closer like hand and foot to check the resolution. Appreciate your help. Thanks
looks like an excellent bit of kit..I will be buying one. Thanks for the excellent review.😃
Nice review. Thanks from Colorado.
In cura you can just move the object below the bed a few mm to print a flat surface.
Thx. I found that in the meantime, but earlier we had a cutting tool, now it is not there any more.
Great review as always. Thankyou :)
Your head scan looks like Lenin! :D
You are the third one who mentioned this :-)
Amazing review! Thanks!
Are you going to be testing the Gratkit Firefly filament dryer, I see in there comments they reached out to you to test.

@ 12:18 - Am I weird for hoping this 3D print starts appearing in random places in the background of future videos as an "easter egg"? 🤔Probably yes.
time to replace the family photo with a family statue set!

this vs range, which would you pick?
Thanks for helpful review
Very helpful. Thank you!

Under measurement tap you can measure and align the scan after meshing it.
Do you think that this would work when taking a scan of a picture frame? Like on a painting (no glass causing reflection)?
No, it scan 3D objects
I'm looking for a full body scanner - any suggestions from the community?
Maybe in this order: Einstar, Revopoint Range, CR Scan 01, Xbox kinect (but free a lot of space on hard drive)
@@MyTechFun If funds is not an issue which of these would then be your top pick?
@@flashforum939 Einstar if you have strong computer for it.

Its below 1k

2k is for the bundle. But I agree about EU VAT + shipping, may not be below 1k USD delivered.
That bust looked like Vladimir Putin. Is there something enquiring minds need to know LMAO.. Is it dangerous to have lasers on your eyes?
This one can be used for face scan. In most cases the mix it with Lenin (not Putin :-) )
Got you . I know everybody always says keep lasers out of eyes Thx my friend @@MyTechFun
