- We get to pick an antique dealers' warehouse that hasn't been open in years! Thanks to @CrazyLampLady and our hosts @BernerBrotherAntiques, we're getting a very special chance to see and pick from true antiques, valuable vintage and a huge pile of fun things that have been hidden here for ages. It's like a giant estate sale, just for us!
This space is huge, so much to take in here! If there's one, there's a shelf full...rows of Scandinavian trunks and Chinese wall panels, a clump of 1860s copper luster, piles of paper ephemera and showcases of art glass and porcelain...where do we even start?
I start my pick with a dragon handled copper luster teapot, a cigar shaped Murano bowl and some handsome bookends. Meanwhile, I'm helping Jocelyn pile up some really pretty Fenton (I'm getting a collection soon, so that's all for her), and marveling at her great taste in Victorian glass, Wavecrest and so many other pretty things she's found!
One man's "death pile" is another man's treasure, so I'm off to scour more goodies, and the sheer volume of true antique pieces is testing my knowledge! How do we tell if this Armorial bowl is really 18th century? What firm made these amazing sculpted poppy plates? We even review a 90-year old antiques publication to see what our forebears were looking for in their antiquing...can we find any of those things in here?
In the end, we get to reveal a lot of wonderful antiques and vintage to you that are not currently available to the public and won't be for some time. What a treat to get to share a pick in a place that has real stuff that is so seldom seen!
Our gratitude to @BernerBrotherAntiques for having us in is beyond measure, especially since the warehouse is now not open to the public and is unavailable for viewing at this time.

She couldnt have picked a better shopping companion! They got a free documentary out of you and it was fabulous. So interesting and informative. Loved it!
You are like a walking encyclopedia for antiques, and I love it!!! Thank you again, George, for teaching us so much about the different antiques on your shopping trip 🙏❤️
I love it when you two do videos together! My two favorite antiquing TH-camrs in one place! 😎❤️🔥
The Kelsey Excelsior is a tabletop letterpress! They were made for amateur hobbyist printers and were very popular and still are! Refurbished ones are used today by artists, designers, and printmakers. Love your channel! I learn so much everytime I watch. Thank you!
...and now I want one. Not buying one, but I want one.
Yeah, was about to say that's what it looked like. A printing press of some sort.
Hi George, Jocelyn is so very generous…She has such a big heart…So awesome of her to share her good luck with another good friend. Jocelyn picked up and checked out a lot of the same items that you did. I loved your comment …“Well, My warehouse resembles this”. 🤣❤
How wonderful for you two to have that massive warehouse all to yourselves!
Wow, George, wow, I don't know what else to say, but wow.
You are very fortunate Wild George😊😊😊😊😊😊
Sounds like fun!!!
That video was definitely too short! So interesting!🥰🥰
It's refreshing to see professional resellers like George and Jocelyn, buying actual quality items and pay up for them to make even more profits. I think that's the reason why they are so successful.
Always love the information that you genoursly share with us! Thank you.
I did watch her shopping. Can’t wait to see what you buy.
Are you telling us that the harvest gold and avocado green are going to come back. Hated it then and will not like it now lol 😂
Thanks for letting us tag along!
WOW!!! I do hope Joyclyn & you get to go through this warehouse again! So interesting & such treasures. Always excited to listen to you explain when items were made & where they came from, etc. Thx for taking us along. CLL & the Nomad work great together. 👍❤️
Totally with ya on the chocolate!! I can’t stop, myself!
Love Love Love it all! You DO make it so much MORE interesting with all the knowledge you seem to have about EVERYTHING(?) !!!!
Can you imagine your parents owning all this and you get to decorate your home with such gorgeous pieces! 🤗
Good evening everyone. Thumbs upfks👍🌸🙏🌴🌞
As a collector of many antiques, one of my specialties is RS Prussia. All of the swan pieces are indeed unmarked RS Prussia. The company also made for other markets, other than the United States which didn’t have to be marked. Sometimes those pieces were shipped here as well only the container or box was marked Germany for the import law of 1891.
I was so excited for you to get to explore the warehouses. I’ve loved seeing what Jocelyn picked out. ❤
Hi George, fun !! I came back to also see Crazy Lamp Lady!! She is fun too!
That is a sculpture of the creature in the movie Beowulf where Angelina Jolie played a beautiful sea creature and that was her son from the King Anthony Hopkins.
Good evening, George! There was a bowl, at the start, that looked like Heisey. Heisey clear glass really gets my attention. I would've had to buy the copper lustre pitcher with Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on it. I'm not a fan of lustreware, at all, but that piece would've had to come with me. Wow! That Royal Vienna piece was a beauty! Too bad it had the crack in the lid. I would've gone nuts in the lamp and chimney aisle. Those old antiques reference books would be an incredibly interesting read! Those might have had to come home with me. Loved those carved lions shelf supports. I'm still looking for the wash basin, by Royal Doulton, in the "Virginia" pattern, in black and white. There were a lot of wall shelves, at the end, that I would've had to gotten my hands on. That was an amasing opportunity to shop that warehouse! Thanks for taking us along!
Hi! Looks so fun. You both are amazing! Love this content, I learn a lot.
Such a great video thank you for sharing 😊
We can Share this video, our friends will like it too ! ❤
I'm amazed! I just wish I could talk you and Jocelyn into buying more porcelain. Lol. I collect 18th and 19th European porcelain. Love R,S. Prussia. But I won't turn my nose at the Asian pieces either! I will keep hoping!
Always a treat! Ty, George! ❤❤❤
Wow, such a large amount of wonderful things to pick from ! My favorite was the gold luster. That gold and blue combination is hard to pass up❤!
Hi George from Chris from Springfield. I had watched Jocelyn's vid shopping there. We all know she is very generous so, I'm not surprised she thought of you - she mentions you often in her vids :) What fun for both of you ... and for your subscribers! TFS your trip & all the fun facts! Take Care.
It must have been hard to resist buying more than u intended!!
Wow, this place is wonderful. Some truly amazing pieces in there. Love all those Chinese carvings/walls, they make great room dividers. I can honestly say I have not seen some of that Fenton blue swirl pitchers, they were beautiful. Thank you for sharing and letting me come along with you in this warehouse. You have a great day and safe travels
That place must be huge! What fun u had !! 😅 😊
Yes, I agree with the viewer 'ThriftingJunkie' in stating that the sculpture at 5:15 is "Grendel" from the Anthony Hopkins movie Beowulf; unmistakable!
I used to go to the antique department at Fredericks with my mom all the time. They had amazingly special pieces there.
Really enjoyed seeing all these rows & rows of interesting items!
Love how you started with an establishing shot of the warehouse and thanks, as always for sharing your knowledge with us all ❤❤❤
This was so much fun!
I really enjoyed watching both of you and Crazy Lamp Lady's video.
Thanks George.🎉I would've got the reference books😮
I was drooling over the brass candlesticks!!
What a fantastic experience. Thank you for sharing.❤️💜🩷💛
You must have felt like a kid in a candy store. That was fun! I wish I could find a hidden treasure like this.
Great video George! Thanks for sharing!
The Exclesior printing press, in that small size, was used mainly for printing business and trade cards. Anything printing and typography related is my forte…having collected in that genre for nearly 40 years.
Thanks George! Mmmm chocolate!
George, Thanks for sharing!!!!!!❤️
I used to have a POW/MIA bracelet I wore for a serviceman (Michael Milligan) for Southeast Asia when I was about 10 years old. I used to check the newspapers to see if he came home. On a brighter note, I’m glad you were able to join Jocelyn and share with us what caught your eye. It’s fun to see what each of you found. Thanks George.
Thank you for sharing. I so enjoy your comments and wonderful knowledge. I learn so much. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Thank you ❤❤
I am curious how the condensed milk container worked. If I had seen in a shop, I would have guessed it to be a flower pot with a drainage hole lol. But honestly I don’t understand the hole in the bottom
I have the same question. I am assuming it is so you can push the can up to take it out.
You use the pretty pot to disguise the can on the table. The hole lets you pop the can out. After seeing these, I remembered I wanted one, LOL.
I think it astonishing not only how organized everything is but how clean it all is. It looks like the glassware has just been washed!
Ahh the Vietnam ephemera also took me back. I remember seeing those bumper stickers on cars
I missed this..just now settled at my daughters again.
So many treasures, it’s like stepping back in time🥰
I think that "dog" at 4:40 is actually a goat.
I watched both videos of Jocelyn off this warehouse. Its an amzing place. You could set up a tent and stay for a week. I like that little cabinet with the mssing handles. Thanks for taking us along. ❣️
Fun to see your perspective George! Thank you! 💓
so many beautiful pieces! .... always fun to hear your encyclopedic descriptions ...
That was really fun!!!
I wish I had a quarter of the knowledge you have!
What a dream pick. I saw so many tobacciana and Americana items that I would have gravitated to for my store and personal collections. I just started my antique career this year, Cigar Room Antiques (Cincinnati), and missed the Springfield show. I'll definitely make it next year so I can stop by your lot and thank you in person for all the knowledge I learn from your videos!
You both are awesome ❤
Aww thanks!
After seeing her videos on this I’m so glad you posted this also
Fantastic museum
Great video as always George.
Looking forward to visiting their mall!
Love these videos! :)
I am amazed at your vast retained knowledge. Thank you
I love copper luster ware too!
Wow! What an antique dealers dream. Incredible! I collect chocolate pots and wish you had bought them. Especially the one with the swan. It was stunning!
Rare antiques beautiful
Great video.
I remember being about 3 or 4, following my Dad to the Coin Dept. at Lenord's Dept. store. I was too young to understand what was so important about old coins & stamps. I bet you & Jos. were overwhelmed walking around that warehouse. Hopefully they will invite you guys back right before they go to sell everything off.
This was fascinating. I don't know how you store all that information in your head.
Interesting video. Thanks George.
OOOh wow! that was fun, lets go back there again George. I watch you from my cave house in the mountains of Andalucía and love following you.
The Rosenthal piece is also signed by Emilio Pucci a famous fashion designer of the ‘60. 😊
WOW. I would go crazy shopping in n that place. Watching you from the Southern Tier of the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York
It provides a great glimpse intp the past.
I love the yellow hall tea pot w cozy...as a matter of fact I have that exact piece...I think I have one in white too
The Excelsior piece looks like a printing press.
Absolutely great! Thanks for all your work.
Always such a pleasure to learn from you. Thank You for sharing your knowledge😊
I love watching your videos. Get to see all the neat stuff and get an education in vintage while watching ❤
Love your time together picking❤ I love how you share!!! 😂❤
So cool to see!
good evening!
Amazing !!
Absolutely amazing collection of goodies. Loved the video. Would love to get my hands on those curtain tie backs!
I could spend a few weeks in there…no problem.🖤🇨🇦
That had to be a great experience!
Had to laugh at “these are grisly” lol
At 10:01, I think that is part of an old printing press. I've seen one in sction. A lot of fun and very messy!
Love your knowledge on so many things
Amazing how little dust there was!
Great video!, wish you and Jocelyn can make this a regular feature. No logistics and warehouses like this don't come on long often but love to see another.
This was really neat!! It was very interesting to see your video and take on this amazing warehouse versus Jocelyn’s! Thank you George!!❤
So much fun. I started following the family who’s warehouse and antique business this is.
I had the Fisher Price circus. I have only found two very worn pieces "in the wild".
Great video. ❤ JoAnn
I love learning from you (and Jocelyn)...Oh to be a fly on the wall with this duo! I would love to know more about your background...your knowledge is fascinating!
Thanks fore tour wow
