Wow George is all I can say. People who have you to manage their estate sales are sooo lucky!
Wonderful sale! You look worn out but doing this for your friend and charity makes it all worth hard work. Thank you for being such a good guy and showing people how to do things the correct way ❤
So thrilled that the sale went so well and that an auctioneer was interested in the remaining items. You're a good business man; and more importantly, a good friend. Well done George and team.
I always find it so funny to see estate sales with no old Christmas
She only had newer pieces, I was hopeful that because the family didn't take things that there might be some but I guess she didn't find much
Oh, my goodness, wild George, that was absolutely fabulous. What you did for your friend?
I hope more is sold for your friend sake. I'm sure she would be absolutely joyous to see what you guys did, and how you did it.
Get some rest, you did a very good job.😊😊😊😊😊
George, that was very nice of you to put our dinner in. I was just happy to be with my friend at such a awsome view. The food was good also, but not as good as the company.😊
I can’t imagine organizing such a huge amount of items😵💫
WOW! Glad you were able to raise money for charity. I'm sure your friend would be pleased. Well done.
Watching the replay. Hi everyone.
Wow George what a challenge you and the staff had.
Wish I lived near so I could have shopped!! Thanks for all you do👍
OMG that's a pickers dream sale. Wonderful job getting all that setup.
Beautiful job displaying all these items!
George I hope you were able to have a few days rest after this sale. Fantastic job you & your crew did. It sure would of been a sale worth going to if I had lived in that area so many items but great for the buyers.
She was so talented!
Impressive work you do on these sales George and your crew. Too bad you always seem to have such a limited amount of time. She had so many amazing things. Thank you for taking us along. I enjoy the process. ❣️
That’s a beautiful home , easy to see it after the sale. Our public library has book sales twice a year. That could be a place to donate leftover books. Your a hard worker George.
Wow...congrats and what a job for the estate and charities...congrats.
Good evening everyone 🦩🌴🌞
George, i am a long time collector, part time seller, and overall lover of STUFF 😊 I was just wondering if you ever get overwhelmed? Sometimes i look around and im like , oh man... thats a LOT of stuff! But, in my opinion, its worse to be in a hotel room or somewhere with blank walls. Also, im a huge fan and great lover of everything you do, you are the encyclopedia , the grand wizard of all things vintage . I would love to meet you someday!
I can’t believe how much better that place looks. I am impressed how well you got it together.
Aww, we had the Peanuts milk glass collection glasses growing up. I haven’t thought of them in years until I spotted Charlie Brown going down to the basement 🥹
Thank you for doing these videos, George. I know how tired you must be every day and doing filming is the last thing on your mind. I both love and hate seeing things for sale. Love the vintage and ephemera along with the art but hate that I can't buy anything, lol. Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all your effort and knowledge ♥️
I had anxiety just watching this video. Wish I could have been there to buy some of that great stuff. Amazing
Is it hoarding if you have great stuff? This is incredible 😱. I wish it was closer to Los Angeles.
George you and your wonderful people do amazing work be careful burning that candle at both ends ❤
I’m a Sunday shopper, after church, we go to local estate sales where a lot of stuff is priced at 75% off. What wasn’t a consideration at $10 is definitely interesting at $2.50. Box or bag sales are fun and profitable.
That is definitely a good way to get deals! We were selling cheap at the end
Congrats to you and your team George, you all made a difficult situation a success. You work so hard, and give so much, hope the return matches all your efforts. If I lived anywhere near this sale, and was trying to stock a new vintage shop, I’d thought I went to heaven.😂 Thank you for sharing all your knowledge, and proper practices. 🥰
Good evening, George! I spotted a Tinker Toy Starter set there. I'd like to have a full-size set, with all of the pieces intact. All those books would've kept me occupied for quit some time. I actually have one of those chalkware clown banks. Was that a red Arvin metal dinette chair in the front lawn? There was a nice Maxfield Parrish print there. I like that print of the Ivory-billed woodpecker. I've been wanting a Ski Country Ivory-billed decanter. Wow! I imagine you were both physically and mentally exhausted after that sale! I think my knees would, first, have gotten wobbly, then they would've regained their strength...and ran! 🤣 Thanks for showing us everything that was there and the aftermath, after so much had sold! That would've been THE estate sale to attend, for sure!
Hi there! I'm finally able to breathe again, sorry for such a delay in reponse. I think I looked at every book as I set them up and I guarantee, it took hours! There were some good ones. That was an Arvin chair, I'm impressed that you knew just by shape...if only she'd had a full set. The Parrish print was a 1990s reprint but very beautiful nonetheless! I am pretty wiped out but it was fun
@@TheAntiqueNomad I have an Arvin dinette set in ivory, (it was likely white, originally, but yellowed over time), and I knew that shape looked familiar. I have the table and four chairs.
@@CONSTELLATION_PEGASUS they were one of the big Formica makers of the era, along with Virtue of California
@@TheAntiqueNomad The set I have is all metal - the chair seats and backs, and the table. They have chrome legs, but they're not in pristine condition. They're not horrible, but they do have some wear.
Wonderful job! My Mom and her siblings were all hoarders and I was the only one in the family (besides hubby and my kids) that had to take care of it all. I thank God I have great friends! I don't have to source because I'll be selling their stuff for years to come. The only problem is I don't know everything that I have😂. 3 storage units to go! Lol! Thanks for the update!❤
You and your super crew did a spectacular job organizing all those items. I remember your video from a couple days ago, it was daunting! I would not of known where to start!
WOW!!!!! Hard work, determination, vast knowledge, and a giving heart. ❤
Loved seeing Spokane... some of my great grandparents and 2nd great grandparents lived there decades ago.
Wow, I had no idea it was such a lovely Craftsman style home until the end. Nice job!
George, Thank You soooooo much for posting this adventure! I have been learning so much about reselling and antiques and so very much more from you, so getting to see your experience and expertise at work has been a truly exciting opportunity. If you ever find yourself in south central Arizona please let me know, as I would love to thank you in person...❣🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wow!! Really great job. I don't think I would have had the courage 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I tend to keep my eyes open for the Happy Holisters series … similar to the Bobsey Twins and Nancy Drew… loved those books growing up!
Your shocked face [clickbait] works! 😳 Great work my friend! I saw SO many things I would have picked up - even on day 2! I hope you were able to relax! 💕
WOW! That is a lot of work! You & your helpers did a fantastic job in organizing!
Very surprised at how much more organized and cleaner it looked right from the start of the video. It even looked vaccuumed! That must help cut down on the dust with all the bodies going through! Fantastic job. Your team was amazing. I was thinking that you might want the display case ya'll used for the good stuff. It looked small enough to travel, but a lot of glass.
I live in an apartment so i have this new passion and knowledge of all these amazing things, but no place to hoard It myself, so I look at small things and think about what little tchotchkes give me joy 😊
I am so glad it showed! We worked very hard. We didn't vacuum much, but we strategically covered up the dirt I guess...lol
I think small things are a wonderful thing to collect, and they fit anywhere! I've been focused on coins, tokens, paperweights and miniatures myself of late.
It was overwhelming to watch this video - because of all the stuff. You did a great job George. ❤. JoAnn
Glad you did well for the charity, but boy is that a whole lot of work!
Wow, you do such a great job, amazing treasures🥰
You are incredible George!❤
That is really impressive! I can’t imagine how exhausted you must be. Five figures sounds like a huge success! 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Oh George! Wish I lived nearby. I saw some Elvis items peeking out here and there!!!
I wish my health would have cooperated so I could have gone to this sale. It looked like a really good one.
Hi George! That was quite the undertaking! Everyone did an amazing job organizing everything! I can’t help but feel sad that your friend didn’t open her antique store. I always feel a little sad seeing estate sales. I do love to see collections going to someone who will appreciate them. Job well done sir! Safe travels to you and Xeno❤️❤️
Thank you! I was pleased that at least she got to be around for the first sale and see her house turned into a store, which really pleased her
To me this looks like paradise! I wish I could go!
Hope youre recovering well George, Im exhausted just watching. That certainly was the kind of sale that doesnt happen too very often...
The "B&M" could be for the "Boston and Maine" railroad. Or the baked beans. lol Good luck at your sale!
Holy cow! I’ve never seen an estate sale like that. Felt some anxiety watching-so much stuff. I kept spying a little primitive painting on the wall I would’ve loved. You and your team are insanely good at what you do. Congratulations on helping your friend’s stuff find good homes and raise $ for charity! I’m sure she’d be so grateful. Do you ever come to the Sacramento CA area? New subscriber!
Ooo wish I could have been there. Always on the look out for owls, elephants and seahorses... Spotted that green fish dish. Haven't been to an estate sale in forever
Hi from Joan
What a great sale, it would be so much fun to rummage through it!
Wow, this video (along with the other videos that go with this one) is one of my favorite videos that you've done in a while. I know Spokane very well!...Anyhow, I do normally watch most of your videos, but I just love this one because you took the time to slowly go through the grouped items, (broken up in 3 videos) plus the before and afters, which were AMAZING!.... Thank you so much.
B& M was the Boston & Maine railroad. I grew up in Mass and saw their cars go by all the time.
Great show!
I can't help but to feel sorry for your friend. She must have had a terrible trauma to have developed such an overwhelming problem 😢
Herculean, indeed!! Wow. Beyond, precious and impressive🩷
WOW what a true difference, you can walk and get through the house for real. lol Glad that you did so well on the sale and in the end you still got everything gone. Lots of work for sure. Have a great day and safe travels
Thank you for sharing!
What an adorable house.
Do you get to buy anything? I know how honest and ethical you are.
Hi George from Chris in Springfield. Your friend was an amazing collector! Kudos to you & your team for an impressive sale; your friend would be proud. If not for the distance, I would have been there. Best estate sale ever! Now go rest a bit!! 😁 Take care.
George- Fans let's Share his VIDEO. I bet u have a friend who will really like to meet George !
It was an exceptional sale, even on Sunday! Fun to see you again, George.
I'm so glad you all came! It was really fun and I'm glad you found things
Old washers and dryers can be better than the modern versions! I'd stick a price on them and sell them!
Fun video George! Thanks for sharing!
I understand what u mean by lhow much work you have already accomplished!!
That stove is very cool. I hope it goes for a good price !!
She had many varied collections to sort through.
Dear George, B&M is the Boston and Maine Railroad 😊
Nice job George! Thanks for sharing!
So glad the sale was successful. There were treasures for everyone 😊
I'm so thrilled that you price like it's an estate sale. In my area I run into people that seem to think they're running an antique store or consignment shop that happens to be open for three days. I get the sellers have obligations to their clients, but people that offer their goods up to an estate sale should understand what sort of event that is. I don''t mind paying a premium on the first day. I consider that a collector's "gotta have it" tax. That's totally understandable; if I've spotted something I have to have, I'll get there two hours early to wait in line and just be happy I've found it at the premium. But half off day should feel like I can't pass the deals up. I just got back from a sale's half off day, and even half off the prices were 20-25% over what I would expect to pay in an antique mall. Managed to find a few things that they undervalued, but it was rough. I would love to attend one of your events, they look so fun!
Whew. Sorry for the gripe, but seeing such a fantastic sale taking place across the country and having just been so disappointed, I had to vent a little.
GEORGE!! you and your team did a fabulous job on organizing this sale!! so easily shopped! i would guess its such a double edged sword of not getting to shop it yourself . i believe that is the biggest estate sale I've ever seen! ooooh how much did you sell the kitty for!! LOL @14:08. I'm surprised you didn't do 2 weekends with as much as there was. what a wonderful friend you are. such a labor of love.
OMG George…you’re amazing!!! I know your friend will be watching over you! Take care you sound exhausted and should be! Also KUDOS for everyone who helped with the sale! I hope you were able to at least take a few things from the 34:40 memory wall😉👍🏼 You all did a fabulous job!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That stove is beautiful So much good stuff wish i wasn't in california
As always, and as you must have expected, George, this was interesting and a bit exhilarating to this subscriber/follower of yours from north central Texas. . . too far from Spokane to venture from my home to see this Estate Sale when you describe it so well in your videos. Adios, see you down the road at the next place a Nomad plans on stopping. Your friend, Judith Derington. ❤🎉❤🎉❤
What a huge job!
I just found your beautiful channel I collect tea cups I have 4 generations in my family and teddy bears and elephants and lastly angels lol I loved seeing you share your moms beautiful collection made me think of my grandma and mother they taught me the collection thank you for sharing your beautiful collections and talents with us I appreciate it so much and it’s fun
Wow! Sure wish I could have hopped on a plane from Florida to shop this sale.
I think if I were you, I would have handed out paper grocery store bags and done $5 or $10 fill a bag on the last day.
Definitely, a lot of things, my word (as my aunt would have exclaimed ❤
Thanks for sharing - looks like an amazing sale!
It’s an insane sale. Makes me wanna jump on a plane and go to it. Indiana is a bit far tho
Great job!!!!!
Amazing sale happy for you and family love your videos California
Thank you for the tour, lots to see !
I watched this on Patreon last night and watching it again. This sale is overwhelming!
Nice video and some awesome finds
Awesome! I almost missed ya.
Wish I could have attended!
Could the B&M plate be from the Boston and Maine railroad?
Awesome sales guys!
Outstanding !!
WOW!! Impressive!!
Great job !
My sympathies on the loss of your friend . Her collection just blows my mind . That’s the downside of this business, so easy to become a hoarder .
❤ I have seen the Nitch Lady go down that road. She said her grandmother was a hoarder too. She is always giving her kids stuff. I hope they will be able to escape the example. They live w it though ❤
Danni, has her's mainly in storage units. 😅
