Sanctuary: a place of refuge and protection. I started watching when Rita first came to town so I don't have the connection to Marrow Hill that so many of your viewers do. I do understand that connection since my family has a large chunk of river front property connected to a family business. Our younger generation doesn't want the business so at some point it will be sold. The Longhorn Lester property is beautiful but not conducive to raising large livestock. With all of the repairs and now increased erosion on the hill/river side, I think selling and consolidating would be the way to go. One property one tax bill and not having to maintain three places would be a bonus. There could be a possibility of having a entrance off the back road so there could be a separation of operations and LE would have his own kingdom to run. Besides, who wouldn't want to live on the magical mini donkey/Gimpy Gary land? Where the animals in need find you....

Lester, missed the live. I grew up in suburbs of Chicago. Moved 2 1/2 years ago after the “Democrats summer of love” protests (which turned into arsons riots murders). The lawlessness of Chicago has lifelong citizens moving FAR away. Chicago is not the same as it was prior to 2011 (Rahm became mayor and it started the downward spiral). I agree with you. I have seen the lawlessness (human trafficking, drug smuggling, cartels running the area) of Colony Ridge, there are many sources for this information. MOVE!!!! Buy as much land as you can afford FAR away. Family compound is a great idea. You can give people choices, it’s up to them to make a decision. Choices we make in life. I LOVE sleeping good and have never looked back on Chicago. Sanctuary is safe, peaceful, quiet. ♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yesterday here in Edmonton Alberta Canada we had Texas weather we hit 102 f no breeze.. I was dying.. then to top it off power in my apartment building went out from 10 pm till 3 am .

It breaks my heart that people don't realize how difficult the decision to stay on the hill or move is. The flooding could be diverted with a levee along the riverside property however expensive. But you can't just ignore a deteriorating community. You have my prayers that the local authorities find a way to change that. I would love to see you all able to collectively buy JoAnn's property and extend the hill with peace from natural and social chaos.

Morrow land is 100 acres deeded over 100 years ago to someone in the Morrow clan either after the TX Revolution (Battle of Alamo, 1836) or the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848. Lester spoke about how his family ended up with the land long ago in an early video. I’m sure PaPa has much info on how the land was deeded to them, but it is Centennial land passed down through the family. This is just my understanding from what Lester said long ago. It is an absolute shame what the local government has ALLOWED to happen to Plum Grove. I remember when all the development nearby started changing the waterways in the surrounding town. I remember Lester’s social medial family writing the mayor etc. Lester even noted that area retention ponds had been filled in. Greed, greed and more greed of sell-out politicians and our Government has changed that area for a long time. Not sure it could recover, massive uncontrolled, unchecked migration. Sad

I’m sure PaPa has much info on how the land was deeded to them, but it is Centennial land passed down through the family. This is just my understanding from what Lester said long ago. It is an absolute shame what the local government has ALLOWED to happen to Plum Grove. I remember when all the development nearby started changing the waterways in the surrounding town. I remember Lester’s social medial family writing the mayor etc. Lester even noted that area retention ponds had been filled in. Greed, greed and more greed of sell-out politicians and our Government has changed that area for a long time. Not sure it could recover, massive uncontrolled, unchecked migration. Sad
