    hey sarah, i know you‘re probably not aware of the problems with temu so i just want to inform you that temu is a really really bad company and you should maybe reconsider getting sponsored from them/ advertising them. they are based on the absolute worst working conditions and the prices are so low because they just want to get all the data they can from their customers. if any site offers prices like that it’s because you (the customer) are actually the product for them. i am just trying to raise awareness and this is no hate in any form towards you or this video ❤

      Totally agree. This Chinese company just jumped into US everything. From unknown startup in the beginning of 2022 to a Superbowl spot in 2023… from rock bottom prices? How & who sponsored this? Personally, The Temu app has magically appeared on my (2021) phone twice this last year. I allow nothing to auto install… Red Flags, Red Flags people! This app front is not about low steal of a deal prices… it’s to steal your information!!

      I understand you and I am very hesitant to buy from them (maybe not hesitant enough). But there are shops in The Netherlands, selling the same stuff for much more. And I believe in the same conditions. It is hard to find honest shops with honest products, where the profit goes to the workers.

      #1 Because they appropriate designs from artists without compensation
      #2 Because loading their app is just like loading TikTok - very invasive and mines all of your data.
      #3 Because the company that owns them is run by the CCP
      #4 Because they have horrible working conditions

    Hi Sarah - Can you make a suggestion on what magnets are suitable, size wise and strength wise for ceramic fridge magnets?

    • @SarahWaltonPottery
      @SarahWaltonPottery 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi Karen! The magnets that I purchased are not from Temu but I see that they have the similar ones. Here is a link to some that I have tried and like: amzn.to/3YnMDyu
      Size wise, I ordered various sizes as my magnet tops range from small to large and I prefer the look of one larger magnet affixed to the back rather then 2 smaller ones. What I have learned from my experience is that the thin magnets are not very strong. They will hold my ceramic bits to the fridge with maybe with only one sheet of paper. The thicker ones seem to work best.
      Let me know if this was helpful! Cheers 🥰

    I just started selling magnets and they are really great sellers!! Just an fyi about the micrometer wire. Be sure to test one first because I bought some high temp wires and they were not for high temp!!! Leaving the brushes in water that long will loosen the glue. Try not to drown your brushes! Lol

    • @SarahWaltonPottery
      @SarahWaltonPottery 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Hey Michele! Yes I need to fire the nichrome wire still! It did say in the description that it was a true high fire..so stay tuned. As for the brushes, I’ve been a makeup artist my entire career, and you are absolutely correct about the glue loosening up if soaked, so that was why I did the test. I wanted to see how they would hold up to some abuse, and they survived..they seem to have some binding of the hair bundle which has helped. The metal ferrule didn’t rust, so I was pleased with the way that these brushes handled what I gave em! 🥰

      Hi Evelyn! Sorry for the late reply...I took a little time of from my YT duties🤭 I love the Temu banding wheel. It's so light weight and spins long enough, for me anyways. I've had a Shimpo/Nidec banding wheel for a few years now, and well, yes it's far superior, and the bearings are in my opinion unbeatable and spin forever. With that said, to buy one now is a few hundred dollars, in Canada, so this one from Temu is an affordable alternative. It doesn't spin as long but it is smooth, and level...so I'm pleased with it. Cheers! 🥰

      I'm unemployed and sometimes one can not afford to get quality things needed. It helps people on low income to be able to buy things. So much STUFF is from China which ever way you look at it. Most things we buy in a shop are all made in China. Yes we would love to support local, but it's not always possible.

      CHINA. So which ever way you go many things are made in China for companies, businesses. So you think you are buying things from US, Australia. When in fact there are many things manufactured in China, for a cheaper price. So the company we buy from can make a profit.

    Temu has also been known to steal artist's designs and sell them mass produced. I have known multiple artists that have said their designs showed up on Tema lower than priced they could produce it and therefore the artist has no market now for their product. That's not free market, that's stealing your intellectual property and profiting from other people's designs. They did not stop even after notification to cease and desist. This is what you are supporting. I won't shop with them. I didn't know about the conditions of employment. But, bummed that you are speaking for them.
