FYI, had to clean my carbs again (left fuel in carbs to log again) this time my choke is not working and having to compensate using the idle adjustment to start it every time. Took apart this time and jets were pretty good but it was the two fuel enrichment ports that were plugged. Remove carbs completely from engine this time so I could really clean the two needed to be cleaned using very fine jet stainless jet wire and a lot of carb cleaner and air. It is running better then now.
Are you able to roll over the engine good? Did you make sure your battery is good, the batteries these days are crap, one of the cells will short out and it will still show voltage but will not have any cranking amps. If that the case just hook up jumper cables from your car to check or take battery to get load tested. When you are checking for spark are you sure the threads of the plug is making a good ground contact against the cylinder. Also seen the spark plug cable go bad.
thanx as soon as i got my jet sucked up in the bushing i took a hammer to it.. everything worked out great my cycle is all shiney and new like i said real informational video thanx again bud
question about ignition problem , there is no spark on my 2008 v start 650 . I change the front ignition coil , because it was making 4 loud clicks , now it only makes 2 , the fuel pump is fine and fuse is fine . battery is fine super charge too , at this point , I don't know what else to check , what do you think ? thanks
Thanks for this. I had one small problem...when I took the first pin out, a small silver "thing" fell off what I think u called the "floater", I have no idea where it goes....help, and thanks.

If you have a VOM ohm out your plug wire, should be very low ohms, less then 5 ohms resistance.
