I remember seeing this on MTv as a kid probably not long after it actually happened, first time i've actually seen or heard Pantera at all. You can't make a higher first impression than playing one of the most slamming songs ever in front of the largest crowd ever.

Damn this guy should have been in new pantera as he goes note for note . I'm pretty sure Phil and Rex will blow their minds out if they see and hear him play. When he plays pantera it's like dime is doing it for him. Pantera's energy is with u, Man.
saw them in 91 about 2 months before they went to moscow. played to maybe 1000 people and 8 months before to about 200 same venue.everyone from front to back had a good seat for both shows. met darrell hours before they went on the second time and he signed my cd. at the time he was diamond but signed it dimebag. I realized a year later what he had written when he eventually changed his name

Because you can’t just pick some random dude from the internet who doesn’t have fame and impact on the rest of the people all over the world, and especially who has no friendship with Dimebag Darrell like Zakk Wylde. Dime’s place requires more than your ability to play the songs. Far more than that.

Also, given it is supposed to be a 'celebration of the music' it would be nice to see it played by someone who took the time to learn it properly, not just doing standard Zakk wyld 'play pentatonic scales at light speed' as soon as there's a bit you couldn't be arsed learning properly!
