- Worth a read Here it is! The wombo combo, the grand compilation of Dimebag's amazing leadwork on Pantera's iconic album, Cowboys From Hell.
Well, almost. Firstly, I say all solos - I'm aware there's a few small bits I've missed that you could consider lead work, only cause I don't consider them to be 'main solos'.
Secondly, I've sadly ran into a copyright issue with Cemetery Gates, so it will not be included. My need to complete is fizzing, but there's nothing I can do!

Only Dime can interrupt his best lead with a brutal ass riff in-between to make the second half sound that much more soulful. The duality of his writing. Legend.

Very underrated. It's my favorite lead by him hands down. Good call. I was in highschool in the ninety's Pantera was the only band that existed.
Underrated solo , for sure. To me the song HLSC , solo included , feels like Dimes Dark Side of the Moon.

Dime solos never sound dated. I reckon he’s one of the most original players ever. Great work man.
Still to this day, with all those perfect, technical shredders, modern equipment, all that music knowledge, AI, computers, NO ONE can even come close to Dime's originality. These solos are from another dimension! Great job btw brother.👊

That’s what made Dime so great, creativity, that’s what makes all the greats great. It’s one thing to be able to play the stuff, but the real deal is creating it from scratch. But dude, you are an awesome player.

I'll be coming back to this vid time and time again to learn some of these solos... A lot of Pantera covers here on TH-cam seem to miss many of Dime's subtle nuances and accents. I'm very impressed! And I love how the camera is so close so you can really see what you're doing.

Man, Dimebag really packed the CFH album with an astounding amount of lead tricks. It’s cool af to see them all back to back. Dimebag was cookin’ on this album (as he always does)!

I love the fact that in the Psycho Holiday solo you used hybrid picking in that fast run, where I would almost bank that Dime never would have done that... which goes to show how fluid and technically sound he really was as a player.
The shattered ending was godlike
This is so good. Every single bend and nuance was done so beautifully. I've always said Wes Hauch is the only one who can replicate Dime's style accurately, but man, you would give even Zakk Wylde a run for his money. Amazing video, brought a tear to my eye

Getcha pull brother! That was goddam electric! I've literally watched this video 8 times and it's flawless. Every note, bend, hammer on, pull off, harmonic bend, slide, and tap were dead on fucking perfect! Dime would be so proud to see that his music is still alive and just as relevant today as it was the day he wrote it. Dude I really hope you're signed to a label, or in negotiations! I really can't say enough about that performance brother. If you're a fan of metal and guitar heroes, and especially Dimebag Darrell Lance Abbott, you can't help but smile when you watch your covers!

This dude needs to be out with Pantera when they go on the road! This is as close to Dime as it gets! Thankfully i got to see them before it all went south! The best concert ive been to!
