I think I said this before, but I really love that song in this intro, and all the pictures in it! You truly are amazing all the things you've accomplished with your rental house. It's looking wonderful, and someone is going to be lucky to live in it! Hope you get some great tenants in it this time!! I saw you say both grey and white you'd decided on in other comments. But I agree with the majority of comments, and for the same reason a lot of them said. Seems like grey would be easier with the upkeep. Can't wait to see all the final results. You ARE amazing!! My back would never let me do all you've done! ❤😊
Hi Mary, I love the song in your introduction. For the bathroom, definitely grey paint. It will combine beautifully with the white and yellow. You have done an amazing job on your rental. I don’t know where you get your energy!! Hugs to you and your kitties from Portugal. 🤗🤗🇵🇹
I think the dark gray would show less dirt. You have accomplished so much Mary. You have so much energy. I love the peice that you painted in the living room with the roses on it. Hope your week goes well. 😊
I agree that the gray would show less dirt. The white would have to be cleaned every day I figure. lol not sure I'll have tenants willing to do that. I am so conflicted over this. choices, choices. Thanks for your comment.
Mary Your rock in my heart. Caring for all those cats. They are beautiful. I have one cat and she my 5 in my life. Painting the floor Grey I feel is nicer.
I love, LOVE your sweet little cottage kitchen, the décor is so delightful. Thanks for sharing it with us. The yellow exterior gives it all such a wonderful cottage vibe. I vote dark grey for the bathroom floor. Everything is taking shape... someone will have a sweet little place to call home. 💗
Hi Mary! You sure are working hard. Watch out for this heat. I think you should use the gray so it can offset the color of your sink and tub. Blessings! Debbie Yarham
What a cozy fresh new space , looks wonderful , I bet it smells clean )) . I say dark grey , Iv had white floors n oh my every little fluff n debris shows drove me batty and I clean my floors everyday .
Hi there Mary wow you are just about ready to start showing your place. I too think the dark gray would be better it could always be brightened up with a colorful bathroom mat on the floor. You have done well Mary now to get some nice tenants in there soon. Good luck but take your time as far as that goes getting new folks in there.
Just love your eclectic home! So quaint and cozy! Those cats look like they live there or something! LOL!😂 Hope the people appreciate that beautiful cabinet that you painted! Even though the grey reminds me of a porch, I think the grey would be more durable and show less dirt and wear. And you have yellow in there, too which will go nicely with the grey! You are a DIY machine! Love your little window of yourself in the video! Learned a new skill? They should be grateful for the table, and I'm sure they could use it somewhere in the house, maybe in the sunroom, it would make a nice sitting area for breakfast or lunch! All that sun! Love that room! You can do so much with the rooms in that house! Wish I was younger and lived closer, I would love that house like my own! Praying for great tenants! God Bless!😊❤🙏
that little window on my videos is something I discovered a few weeks ago. I never knew it was there. I love new things to try out. I agree that they grey goes well with the yellow and I love that look. For now, I've put one coat of the white on there and it's very nice. I wanted to use the grey but cutting in around that toilet is very difficult in that small nook it's in. I'll test out the white and might change it if I don't like it after a few days.
Good Monday Morning Mary And Kitties 😸 💕 If you are going to keep the yellow tile over the sink in your bathroom, which I love because it's so bright and cheerful, I personally would go with the gray paint. I think the two colors just go so well together ❤️
I like the gray, but not sure if that would scuff up faster than the white. That’s the only question I can think of. either one of them will look beautiful. You’ve done a fantastic job. I am so proud of you my friend. I cannot wait until you get a wonderful tenant in that home.. may the light guide you and put a hedge of protection around you today and every day, my friend love me and Otis Massachusetts
there's pros and cons to both for sure. The white would show a lot of dirt on a daily basis (just with simple living and traffic) but the gray might possibly show scuffs and such (as you said). It's a toss up at this point. Thank you for your comment. You're right on for sure!
Wanna say grey just because we spell it differently, but really my vote is white. Crisp and fresh and makes a space feel larger. Whatever you decide it’ll look fab.
I get so confused when I write the word grey or gray. Usually I say Grey. For now, I've put one coat of the white on it and will wait a bit before I decide. Painting it grey would be more difficult to cut in around that toilet. I can't fit into that little nook that it's in.
I prefer the white as it will keep the room looking bright and larger. Also, the tenant will have more colir options as far as rugs, towels, and shower curtain.
It has peel and stick tiles on there already. It's a nighmore trying to fit around that toilet, especially in the back of it, even with a template. Been there. Done that.
I have stick on tiles there already. I decided not to use those again cause they are a nightmare to place around that toilet, especially in the back. It's in a little nook and hard for me to reach.
Dark gray would look lovely with yellow.
I vote gray. Mary, you are an inspiration. 😊
I agree, the gray would ne best. You have really whipped that house into shape, girl. Kudos to you.
,👍♥️🙏 dark gray
Dark gray. The house looks so nice.
thank you

Ohhh beautiful Portugal!! How wonderful that you call that lovely place home. Thanks for your comment.
Gray! Youre not painting over the wood floors right?
Youve done so much. Great job!
no. I'd be crazy to do that. lol

Looking nice. I would use dark gray.
I would use dark gray. White would show every speck of dirt.
Gray and yellow would look good together beautiful job mary❤
thank you Brenda. I'll work on it tomorrow. I'm excited to see it finished.
You're doing such an awesome job?I vote for the gray

I agree with you Mary. The gray will be pretty.

Dark grey would look nice with the yellow wall💛

Dark gray will be best like you said. 😀

I agree. Yellow and Gray are good together. Those yellow tiles are freshly painted so I won't be changing them.

The white will make the BR look larger and they can always place a cute rug down for decor.

Gray!
White for bathroom most people use color for their throw rugs and shower curtains, to dress it up. Grey ? I think basement or porch.
Gray❤
white for the floor is my vote.
My personal opinion is that the white would go much better with the yellow in bathroom.
I prefer the white as it will keep the room looking bright and larger. Also, the tenant will have more colir options as far as rugs, towels, and shower curtain.
Go gray. 😊
Mary..I think dark grey for sure/ especially in bathroom. Why aren't you using tile,or peal& stick?
It has peel and stick tiles on there already. It's a nighmore trying to fit around that toilet, especially in the back of it, even with a template. Been there. Done that.
Gray is best 👍❤️
the white was pretty but would show dirt, etc. easily.
@@MySimpleCottageLife I agree
I think dark gray
I am team gray for the win...
yep, grey wins!
You are a cleaning machine. 😅 I think dark gray since you have some yellow in the bathroom.
Mary would it cost a lot to out those stick down tiles down. That way the floor could be easily moped . Just a thought.
I have stick on tiles there already. I decided not to use those again cause they are a nightmare to place around that toilet, especially in the back. It's in a little nook and hard for me to reach.
@@MySimpleCottageLife Understandable Mary.
Gray
Could you add a bit of white to the paint. The floor would be less dark? Just thoughts.
no. I picked that color cause I wanted dark.
You were smart to know and pick the best color.
lol well, I needed that color for my front porch at my cottage also. This way, I can do two jobs with one gallon.
