I love the chair renovation. Red is a favourite of mine, taking inspiration from Chinoiserie. The sort of project I love. I can’t wait to see what fabric you choose.
I love this channel. A wonderful family with wonderful values and without the need to have enormous egos and filling everything with pompous adjectives. Your home is gorgeous too.
My 14 year old grandson bought himself a 3D printer, and made me a little pond-dock for my Christmas village. He is going to make me walls and gates that look like stone. Those printers are amazing. The only thing I need to do is supply him with filaments. Thanks for introducing us to this amazing technology!!
Anna now with these two colors (red-orange and blue) you can start building your decor. I can see easely your fabric for classic elegant draperies with flowers (or stripes the back of that fabric is like creamy white and those elegant flowers are like in a garden). You can do them, make sure to add sun bloc panel to preseve them of the light), do embrace also for each panel and add a travertin in the same fabric (who is going to be the same size of your bed) for the repeat. Or, you can add another fabric in the same family of color to create a variation. Make sure all of them fit perfectly together in terms of colors. Think to insert a carpet (ex. 5x7 or more depending of your room) under your bed. He must go on both side and at the end to do cosy atmosphere. think about charming accessories (lamps, small picture frames, nice glasses for water, vase for flowers, a beautiful mirror somewhere in that room, cushions, etc.
Im loving the red chair and it is a designer thing, as Brooklyn based designer Taylor Migliazzo Simon popularised the idea of adding something red regardless of its size to a room “the unexpected red theory” she did a TikTok explaining it and showing examples which does actually work, I did think Anna was maybe going to paint that bathroom sink cupboard red when they were deciding what colour to paint it
Impressed about the versatile funcionality of the 3D printer. Technology has evolved. CyberMurano is not only a potential start for a beautiful adventure, but also Philip has redefined the whole concept of mancave haha
Phillip...the green lights are gorgeous ❤ Beautiful shape and my favorite color. Great job! The 3D printer is amazing... don't understand how it works...blows my mind. Dear Anna...although I was totally cringing out that you didn't wear a mask while ripping that dusty old foam from the chair...I am loving the chair. Great color and beautiful restoration. ❤
I grew up in the Scottish culture of making everything. All the women made stuff, embroidery, baking, gardening, wallpapering, woodwork, painting, upholstery etc. It didn't occur to us to call in someone and besides we couldn't afford it! From the age of 12 I began to make clothes for the family and even my little brother embroidered his own motorbike patches for his biker jacket ! My sister did macramé and everyone knitted and I did crochet because I wasn't a good knitter.
I think all of our cultures come from making everything. Some cultures have advanced faster than others to rely on others to do things the modern world allows less time for. It is as choice of priorities but also restricted by the skills we have been taught by our ancestors.
As usual, gorgeous job on renewing that chair Anna. And, Philip, beautiful lamp shape and color. And...genius doggy accessories. You guys are the best.
I'm glad you are back again. I missed you both. It's great to have hobbies to keep the mind active. beautiful lamps and the chair will be beautiful too.
Like the color and use it often, but this color is a point of contention between my husband and I in our own home. He states that is "chinese" red, whereas I say, that's orange. On the lights, hang them both in that space at different lengths.
I love when you both have such a creative episode in your flow! The lights are phenomenal, have similar ones above my kitchen island for mid century feel. The chair in that blue room reminds me of swimming in the kelp forests when the sun lights up the kelp to an orangey red in the turquoise water. Truly my favorite color combo. ❤
Soon you're going to have your own decor company! I love the colour of the chair. You're both creative and quick. Great ideas and you're always demonstrating that we can do what we set our minds to.
VERY impressed with the weaving of the seat support. That's when what I was viewing exceeded my potential skills, ha! Also, agreed, light is GORGEOUS but too small. Such a cute style, especially illuminated.
In my opinion…I think your chair is 80’s/90’s especially seeing the way its upholstered. In the 50’s they would have used tacks, not staples. Design wise it fits as well. Hi from Melbourne, Australia!
Well, I think Philip will love the chair regardless of the specific shade of red/orange.😅 Next, the 3 D printer is actually much cheaper than I really thought. Yes, there are various sizes, but for a beginner. I really like all of the things you've made. It might be an interesting way to make next year's Christmas presents.❤
I love Murano too! One of the other TH-cam channels I love is the crazy lamp lady in US, oh so embarrassing now to say US😢 Anyway she’s a fabulous thrift and vintage shopper, she buys and sells on ebay and now Niknax. Because of Jocelyn I’ve become a huge Murano fan, there’s nothing like it! Timeless and exquisite. Good job Philip!!
Phillip's lights are fantastic! Can't wait to see you new line Phillip, have you considered making a small chandelier? And I'm anticipating Anna will use one of her wall paper designs for the chair fabric. It will be the crowing jewel in any room!
That was a brilliant video this week. I want a 3D printer now, Phillip, you have inspired me 😊 Anna, I love your chair, but the paint looks orange in the video, perhaps a brighter red is needed...
Kate Spade's friend Frances Valentine does a lot of red inspired home decorating in her NYC townhouse. You can view the home with it's famous red door here: th-cam.com/video/7LziXEK1rWg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WBWjlIdvy0wiTV8W&t=72
Love the chair! I have painted several side chairs paprika red. This is off of today's topics, but the painting in your kitchen (by your grandmother I believe) is delightful. I wonder if you would consider having prints produced for purchase. Riva in Spokane, Washington
I think I like the idea of the webbing used as the upholstery fabric…(did you catch the crack on the back of the seat frame, maybe it wasn’t what it looked like?)
You live in a beautiful, historic chateau with gorgeous hand-printed wallpaper, custom cabinets, lovely moldings, high ceilings and now you want to decorate with cheap, plastic crap that comes off the 3D printer. Ugh. 🙄
I like how this week Anna is embracing the orangey-reds and Phillip the greens😁
I love that you are repurposing your old chair !! It’s going to look great!
I live your choice of music, Philipp. Like generally in all your videos.
Glad you like them!
@@HowToRenovateAChateau especially the excerpt from The Tales of Hoffmann at the start.

does this chair color look orange to anyone else?
Anna did say she wanted an orangie red paint to pick up some of the colours they have already used in their dressing room👍🏼
Yes, but, at the beginning of the video she said she wanted an orangy red. It does look more orange than red. Still pretty. She's so talented!
@@liverbird_55 oh okay. On my computer screen it looks orange.
When it’s in the blue bedroom it’ll look more red and go perfectly ❤
Tangerine
I look forward to your videos every Sunday evening ❤

Beautiful job both Anna and Philip😎you two are quite talented, 🧙♂️ magical couple, bravo!👋🏼👊🏼
The painting and weaving of the fabric was so satisfying to watch, Anna is so creative!
Your taste in classical music is exquisite, especially the cello pieces. Your sense of aesthetics is right up there too!
❇Well done Anna on your restoration of a beautiful chair, and Philipp, on your illuminant creations! 💡Very impressive!

Gorgeous chair Anna! But even MORE IMPRESSED with Phillip's STUNNING LIGHTS he made!!! Xo from Canada ❤️

I love the lights!
I love the green lights. You should sell them Philip, I need new lights and I did like the colour.
Wow you two, very inspiring. You both were on a creative boom!

I like the color, although it does look more like an orange than a red to me.
@jlotoo850 yes..but Anna _did_ call it orangey-red. On my screen it's definitely more orange but I still like it. I think better than a blue-red.

LOVE the red idea and yes, the chair looks quality, certainly how it was upholstered. LOVE the light shades. ❤
Is Phillip finally going to have something burnt orange in the house with the new chair? He's waited years for orange accessories!! :)
with your ability to get inspiration from all over and your taste you make miracles.keep making beautiful things and inspire us
First the orange hassock in the dressing room, and now a red chair! There must be accents in each room. ❤
Well done Phillipe!! 🎉 can’t wait to see the chair finished ❤
What a great idea for that chair Anna- just perfect!
We need a song, "Every house, needs a red chair, otherwise how will you know, where to sittt..."
'🎵 I see a brown chair and I want to paint it red' 🎶😂
love the idea :)
I'm glad you are back again. I missed you both. It's great to have hobbies to keep the mind active. beautiful lamps and the chair will be beautiful too.
Philippe … it IS beautiful!
Looking good! Both of you! Well done
I’m very excited to get a Cybermurano.
Also, love the colour of the chair 😍
noted; Joel :)
Anna please start making refurbished chairs I will buy all your chairs

I love the lamp. The shape and color are awesome.
It is truly amazing all of the skills the both of you have!
That is very nice! You are very very talented! Beautiful job!
Wow the chair looks very orange online! Funny with Philip using green! Nice job !

Mr Murano... 😂
Um, maybe a mask would be prudent Anna. ❤
Yes. I have spent the last few days, on and off, researching toxicity in the home. Aaah! Next time.
C’est un travail d’ ébéniste Annah mais je vois que vous avez eu les bons réflexes comme un professionnel. Bravo 🌹🌹🌹Je suis bluffée,😊✌🏻🙌🏻🌹🌹🌹
Merci à vous
Love the chair!
Anna has her wallpaper business. Why not Philip's dog tag business?
So enjoy your videos and love red chair x
Phillip I love the lamps. You should make bigger ones to go in the Salon you are redoing.Anna the chair is going to be lovely.
Great lights are so hard to find. Those look amazing.
Phillip you need to do lamps to coordinate with Anna’s beautiful wallpapers.😊👍

That’s not the traditional Swedish red. I have a classic Swedish wooden horse
I love Murano too!

Very nice lamp Philip! Your 3-D printer is amazing. Your chair will look great Anna.
Looks orange but I still love it.
Phillip's lights are fantastic! Can't wait to see you new line Phillip, have you considered making a small chandelier? And I'm anticipating Anna will use one of her wall paper designs for the chair fabric. It will be the crowing jewel in any room!

nice job on the chair anna. nice shade philip.
i hope anna wasnt using philipps scissors 😏
😂😂😂
you are both so amazing talented.
Some decorator once told me that every room needs a pop of red somewhere
Love those lamps. You should sell them.

Philip, last one you made Anna called it a pumpkin. This one she called a Christmas tree. Next one needs to look like a bunny.
😂
Advert/sponsor comes on. Fast forward. Everytime. 😂
You guys are so 😎

Riva in Spokane, Washington
Yes, it looks orange.
Not really a true red! Its a terracotta orange like the dining room!
what happened to the orange chair???
didn't see the finished project
more like cyberPETROmurano, amirite?
Do we get to see the chair finish or no?
What is the name of the blue paint color in your room?
The chair looks orange not red
I think I like the idea of the webbing used as the upholstery fabric…(did you catch the crack on the back of the seat frame, maybe it wasn’t what it looked like?)
Yup….it’s orange
Did I miss the end of the chair restoration? I've looked back and didn't find an explanation. Will there be more about the chair?
Yes, part 2!
Anna get a webbing stretcher of Amazon ❤xxx
❤
That is definitely orange...not red....at least on You Tube......
But we didn't get to see the chair all finished....
Mister Murano ? ahahaha you're really not an Italian Tyrollean Philipp !😁
Is part of the video missing? You didn't actual make the red chair....
Please think about painting the chair more Chinese red.
That’s an orange chair not a red chair
“I want a red chair”
*proceeds to paint said chair orange* 😂
Actually like the colour and chair looks great. But it’s not red ❤
Adds , way to many.
You live in a beautiful, historic chateau with gorgeous hand-printed wallpaper, custom cabinets, lovely moldings, high ceilings and now you want to decorate with cheap, plastic crap that comes off the 3D printer. Ugh. 🙄
or a red bath tub 🙂
Sorry, Philip but why are you adding more unnecessary plastic stuff to the world? I get that it’s fun - but plastic really?
He’s not gonna dump it in the ocean.. whatever device you’re using probably has some sort of battery that can’t be recycled and will sit in landfill.
I love it! Green is a safe color when it comes to Anna. 😂😂😂
