Don’t EVER let Gavin Green leave Car. His insight in the automotive biz is second to none. I was very happy to see Green this piece. I still have the Car issue featuring the F1!

What makes this interview spectacular is not the car, not even its famous designer. It is Gavin Green, in rare piece-to-camera. Mr Green is real class, a journalist’s journalist, and an old-school newsman. Hat’s off to you Sir.

Gavin is a Hard man to impress. Both the amazing rear luggage stowage solution and the mind blowing torque spread of the engine provoked almost no reaction at all.

Can you ask Gordon to build the TVR there please. I’ve been waiting for them to build a factory for 6 years!

Would it be so bad if they made 150 or even 200? I think Gordon is inadvertently condemning his creations to lives hidden in climate-controlled garages and being shrink-wrapped in shipping containers, serving only as "hard assets" traded by wealthy. Honesty, he should be making a 1,000 over the next decade at a price of $500k, making his design, philosophy (and his legacy) accessible to many more!

While I love what Gordon is doing, I would really like to see what he would achieve at different price points. For example, what would $100,000, $250, 000, $500,000 GMA cars look and perform like? I think he would knock it out of the park and remain head and shoulders above the competition, embarrassing them in the process. It seems like he's building a complete automotive company starting from the top and working his way down, price-wise. Here's hoping that's the plan.

As he has said the company will only be making 100 copies of each car or variant of car . 100 T50 , ( 25 T50s Niki Lauda as that is a track only exception ) , 100 T33 and 100+100 of the other 2 variants of the T33 . That exclusivity forbids for the cost to go below the already given price . Ferrari builds like 10k cars a year with many variants . The GMA company as I see it are only going for excellence and not just basic and hyper car models or whatever others are doing . They're more Pagani or Koenigsegg where there are none cheap options because they're simply very expensive to build. Although the technology the GMD is building could catch up in the future and we'll finally have some relatively light electric cars and not 2,5-3 ton trucks disguised as wannabe "sport cars " .

Building this big facility can't be just to make a few hundred cars! He will come up with more creations I'm convinced! Don't forget a lambo svj is a million dollars! Some going for 1.5 million! I believe the next car will fall into that 1 million bracket!! This is just the beginning! Seriously why would he buy this huge facility and spend millions modernizing it looking like a new car facility just to build a few hundred cars!! No doubt more to come! He said this will be last without electric assistance so he is bringing more machines! This t33 is cheaper than a pagani! And koenisegg!! 1000kg 4 litre v12 natural aspiration 600hp 11000rpm manual box that won't come cheap! When you look at t50 and t33 competition pagani and koenisegg it's a bargain!! Don't forget his last car f1 is 20million! These cars will be same! Pagani and koenisegg won't go up in value anywhere near gordans cars!! In supercar world they are a steel!!! And the more I see t50 and t33 the more they look better and better!

It's amazing how simplicity can make something even more beautiful . Especially with cars and engineering.
The T.33 is even more beautiful then the T.50 (IMO) cause it does away with the fan concept which IMO looks like a jet propulsion system. That said I'd obviously take a T.50 anyday it was offered or if I had the means of owning one. But if I had to choose between the two I think I'd go with the T.33 just cause (IMO again) its gonna over the years age better and the fan car T.50 concept seems gimmicky to me. Yes I understand the function of it, but on the road especially in the USA you'll never reach the limits of either car. That's where the T.33's practicality comes in offering more usable storage The 3 seater may offer one more passenger seat and the central driving position is awesome but IMO overkill and takes away from the passenger's experience or the joy a bit being behind and to the side of the driver. It does however avoid my biggest issue when driving with my wife. Seems that whenever I'm about to park it driveaway from wherever. My wife always has to get into her purse and leans forward blocking the pass side mirror !! Always, and knowing damned full well I need to look out that mirror. Then she gets a tude cause I'll sit there till she isnt blocking it just looking at her with a smerk on my face of YOURE DOING IT AGAIN BABE ! and that annoys her that she annoyed me ? Women, go figure ? Ya can't they're a totally different species from men! But at least my wife enjoys a good spirited ride and loves taking rides in my C7 especially with the top out !! Just wish simetimes she was topless on those rides. LMAO ! Anyways, both the T.33 & T.50 are just amazing feats of design and engineering !! Now we just need a manufacturer to build something like it, in a price range under $75k-$60k !! That way a Joe Schmoe like me, can afford one and enjoy that driving experience. Not just billionaires who have a spare million or two to spend on a car !!! Only car that offers that coming to mind would be the C8 or a Lotus Emira Both at a starting price if about $80k ! The lotus being the lightweight of the two but only by a hundred kilos at best. Which is 🤯to think a Vette weighs just a little less than a Lotus ! Unfortunately with today's market for cars at least in the U.S. we have dealer mark ups which are absurdly high and should be illegal for them to charge. $10k to $50k over MRSP is just theft and taking advantage of your customers in any way you look at it !!!

As much as I'd Gordon to make these more accessible he seems content building $1m+ track toys for billionaires, leaving the rest to wither. The R&D expended to achieve this technology was certainly recouped with the T.50, meaning he could build twice as many T.33's for half of what he's asking and still make a healthy margin to continue. But it would appear that Gordon has no intentions of chasing Ferrari's volume.

Which is nice. I wish Ferrari would go back to the days when it limited the annual production run to 3,000 cars. It made them special. Now they're just another car manufacturer churning out about 10k a year.

I think the Ferrari 296GTB looks even better than this but on driving purity this T33 just rules them all. Such focus on what you actually need and not what marketing suggests you need

The GMA-Cosworth 4.0l V12 produces 615hp while weighing only 1,100kg. Big deal, really. Even the McLaren 765LT will beat in a drag race...

Don't think you'll care when you have a 65° N/A V12 screaming in your ears at 11k instead of a turbocharged V8 constantly making farting noises at 8k. These cars are about the thrill and not the speed
