Hi, I Fry My Chicken In My Air Fryer... What I do Is I preheat my air fryer for 10 Minutes... For the Chicken marinade, I use Pepper, Turmeric, Meat curry powder, and soy sauce(Light or Dark doesn't matter) and after mixing I add a bit of table salt plus two cardamon & Clove and grind these together. I nicely massage the spices into the chicken and with a fork, I poke the chicken so that the herbs and aromatics get it to it. Add the soya sauce after rubbing the spices into the chicken. Leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes and then put it into the pre-heated air fryer... That's what I do
Long format ingredient videos are so nice to settle into while prepping food. I thoroughly enjoyed the air fryer videos since they’re more convenient in the middle of the week.
Hi Marion! I’m from Concord, North Carolina and I love your video, I have your cookbooks and I’m saving up to get your wok! I’m a longtime fan. May God continue to bless you, your family and your beautiful Mom I love her videos too. 😊♥️
Hi Marion! I learned and found my joy in cooking thru you. I saw you on Facebook and had been watching your videos ever since. I tried some of your recipes and was amazed how easy they are but also very delicious. I grew up poor so didn't have appliances and usually cook over the fire. I am so happy to see you and your wok and it encouraged me to try. Thanks much. I also started binge watching the old Masterchef and was shocked to see you. You really have the gift for cooking.
Marion i started to love cooking bc of you❤ I used to be scared of the kitchen bc i could not follow the recipes ..your recipes are easy to follow and you give the real measurements unlike other chefs 🎉
This is hilarious you shared this video today!😆 I made fried chicken and fried rice LAST night for family dinner- my tues is like your Wednesday. I have a great fried rice recipe I follow but had never done fried chicken before. First place I came looking for a video recipe was RIGHT HERE! And while you have some great stuff, I ended up with a basic recipe from somewhere else. THIS VIDEO would have been exactly what I was after 😅❤ At least I know which video I need for next time
Hi Marion, I love fried rice too I've been cooking with you a few years now. My doctor put me on a plant based diet since last year. I hope to see a plant based versión of your fried rice please and maybe other plant based versions of your wonderful tradicional foods. Much love ❤
Hi Marion, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of two woks. Yep, purchased one for myself and one for my 86 year old Mum who just loves to watch you cook and who has a real love of stir fry meals. She doesn't know it's coming 👏. I can't wait to try the chicken and of course the fried rice in my new wok. I hope the knives become available. I was admiring it in the video and hit pause to have a look in your store. Will it be coming soon? Thanks for the inspiration 🌼
Hello, Marion! I’m watching on early Thursday am (0045) from Kingman, Arizona, USA. I love your videos, and I always have sore cheeks afterwards from smiling the whole way through! Happy Birthday Dax 🎉🎁🎂
Hello, my name is Ella. I’m a big fan Marion well I don’t really do fried chicken because it’s not that healthy and when I try to do it, I’m always messy. I just throw my chicken in the oven to roast. I just spatchcock it and throw it in the oven and then use the backbone to make a stock and make a quick gravy weeknights make it easy
Hi Marion! I am from Cleveland, Ohio and I am a super long time fan of your TH-cam channel. I have made many of your dishes, especially your Chinese sausage & egg fried rice! 🤤
Hey Marion! Gord here from TO!💖 I've loved & adored you for years and years now. I have learned so much from you!! I have made so many of your recipes over the years. And will give this one a go for sure!! (I introduced my sister to your channel) and she's become addicted to your recipes. Thank you for your wonderful content, teaching and approach. You have inspired me so much over the years. I did your mayonnaise roast chicken the other night. It was simply the best thing ever!!! Bigh hugs! XG 💋 💖 🌈 💐
How are you ? Lilian here from Aruba. I am a big fan of your cooking. We are fortunate that almost all herbs are also available here. The only thing I can't understand is why you use so much sugar in everything. We also use sugar in our savory foods... but you use it in abundance. Furthermore, your cooking is excellent. Love out of our beautiful Island ❤ ...
Hi Marion 😀 , I am watching from NJ ,USA. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. Love your recipes have tried many of them. I will try to is too 😀 take care
Love everything you do! I made your chilli crisp, first time was cautious with the mildness of the dried peppers. But was missing the heat, second time I asked an Asian man at grocery which was hotter and went with it, doing half mild/half hot. Soooo delicious, next time I’m going full on hot. Bought all the ingredients for your Chilli oil too. So excited! I’m going to make that tomorrow. 😇🥰🙏
I love frying chicken in the oven. Dry chicken is the key to any crispy chicken, specifically the skin 😊. I love your cooking tips. They’re always rolling around in my head 😅
Okay, i love fry rice too, i am eating some right now, and its Tuesday here in jamaica, and i am cooking chicken, and i do use your recipes. Love you.❤❤
I do you fried rice! Once you did a fried rice with ham, brócoli and onion with a side of spice fish sauce and cucumber… and I always make this one! Love it!!
From the Netherlands, I love your Chinese salt and pepper chicken. This stir fry with the garlic, red pepper, black pepper and salt, maybe some spring onions. MY FAVORITE.
I held my nreath for ain. For the Dax & Marion cook-off!! I'll keep looking out for that episode. Thanks for the smiles and weekday inspiration once again!
I boil my chicken pieces for about 30 minutes and let them cool. Then I dip in seasoned buttermilk and seasoned flour with a little cornstarch. Let it sit about 15 minutes on a rack then deep fry until it’s crisp and golden brown.
Such a simple, glorious and delicious meal… yum 😋 love all your dishes. I hardly ever deep fry 😂 but I do roast a lot, and if I do do this technique you did , then I will do the same thing you did…. I do love my chicken skin especially crispy …. I’m watching from Syd at 12am while eating steamed dumplings and a red vinegar and chilli dipping … so good.
Hi Marion! Watching from Detroit, MI in the USA! My mom and I actually both love your videos! It's currently night time, I just got home from work, I'm having a glass of wine and I'm probably making this TOMORROW lol P.S. if you're air frying chicken, a little hit of cooking spray on lower heat until it's cooked, take out the chicken give it another light spritz and crank the heat up on the air fryer for CRISPY skin. Oh and for an upcoming Make It Wednesday, I'd like to see your FASTEST version of a Thai coconut curry because I love it and I'd like to see it more attainable on a weeknight!
Hello to you and your mom! Thank you for watching and enjoy your glass of vino! Thanks for the air fryer tips and also I can totally do a coconut curry! Great idea!
Good morning from Des Moines, IA! Per the TH-cam time stamp, you uploaded this video very late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning for me. This recipe looks super easy and delicious. I look forward to trying it! And thank you for your spicy prawn spaghetti you released in …2018(?). My wife requests that dish all the time and even requested it for her birthday this past April.
Hi Marion, I’m always a big fan of soup during week nights but sometimes it could take longer to make or very boring (like clear chicken stock) You had some amazing recipes that I tried out in the past (quick ramen for example) Could you please create some more noodle soup recipes for week nights. Thank you so much 😊
I cannot for the LIFE of me get my chicken right in an air fryer! This recipe is divine. Ill be doing it on our Friday night here is Sydney which is our "eat what we want and watch bad movies" night. x
I can't wait to try this Marion, I make this kind of sautéed (fried) chicken thighs a lot, like the extra pan and parchment idea, never tried that before. I love fried rice and this one is definitely a winner! Sorry I can't make the live, but really appreciate you and these delicious videos. 👍❤️ Note: Congratulations Dax, you are officially an adult in all the right ways, lol! Hope you had a Happy Birthday 🎂🍦🍭
_Jacques Pepin_ has a similar chicken thigh recipe. He keeps the bone in but mostly separates it from the meat, then cooks it entirely skin-side on low heat, covered. That's the method I use.
Thanks for this 👍 I like to make chicken thighs similar to this and then make a simple veggie-packed curry w/ coconut milk and serve it with white rice.
Looks amazing and learnt some tricks with the chicken. As a suggestion based on fried rice - have you got a kedgeree-type fried rice dish that you could share? Thanks as always x
Hi Marion! I love my air fryer, but the closest I’ve gotten to fried chicken is chicken nuggets (frozen). I would love to be able to do honey chilli chicken (like we had as kids). Tips would help, because my biggest challenge in the kitchen is high temperatures and oil.
OMG going to make this STAT! Love your new studio and that you're talking to your team behind the camera, so fun! QUESTION: Can you please make a thai inspired Salmon dish for Make it Wednesday?? Like to make salmon/fish on a weekday but need a new quick recipe!
I made this today,Friday . Had lots of greens.. I had thighs with bone in so had to have someone cut out the bones as due to a stroke can’t use my left hand but the chicken smaller pieces but meal was very nice. Will make sgain
I live over the creek in the deep south. Its really cold here right now. Just wondered what your take on a fish pie might be??? That's a good winter dish.
Watching u cook and all the laugh always made my day. Fried rice definitely is a staple in my everyday meal😅. My kids can have that for Breakfast Lunch n dinner 😂

Happy birthday, Dax. Also, I have found the pre-cooked pouches of rice will do in a pinch for fried rice. They are a bit dry and already cooked.
